Notre maison de Burt Lake offre beaucoup d'espace avec trois grandes chambres et deux salles de bain complètes. J'ai trouvé une assez bonne couverture de téléphone / données pour les forfaits Verizon / ATT. La zone boisée derrière la cabine à proximité offre plusieurs sentiers de randonnée et notre endroit est à quelques minutes en voiture du parc d'état de Burt Lake et de la ville d'Indian River. Profitez de la navigation de plaisance, de la pêche, de la natation ou de l'exploration de la chaîne de lacs. Nous ne sommes pas loin de l’entrée d’Indian River sur le lac Burt et vous pouvez prendre votre bateau pour visiter le lac tordu ou le lac Mullett. Venez voir pourquoi ma famille aime cet endroit et asseyez-vous près du feu de camp et regardez le coucher du soleil. Parfait pour s'amuser en famille sur le lac Burt. Accès VTT pour la pêche sur glace est à seulement un pâté de maisons. Les mois de janvier et février offrent les meilleures pêches au doré du Michigan.

We stayed at this property with my parents, husband and 7 year old daughter.
The house layout was perfect and spacious for my parents who have limited mobility. There is a bedroom on the ground floor with a full bath directly across so they never needed to go the stairs. The bedrooms upstairs are very spacious and comfortable with a nice large full bath in between.
The main level furnishings we’re comfortable with multiple seating/reclining options inside and plenty of seating outside both on the covered deck and overlooking the lake in the uncovered decking area.
For a family with a younger child- it was nice that she could get in the water right in front of the property and we didn’t have to worry about it being to rough or deep. I will say- bring your water shoes as there isn’t really any sandy areas outside or inside the water in front, and it was a bit difficult to move around in the water barefoot.
Overall- we loved this property. Host was extremely prompt with communication, property was very well maintained, and well located (close to town and Burt Lake State park was only a 10 minute drive).

We’ve rented several cottages in Indian River and this one was definitely one of our favorites. Gorgeous view of the lake. Clean, newly renovated home with lots of room. Super close to hiking trail for long walks. Owner was very attentive and accommodating. We especially liked the little extras, like specialty coffees and clean linens.

We’ve rented several cottages in Indian River and this one was definitely one of our favorites. Gorgeous view of the lake. Clean, newly renovated home with lots of room. Super close to hiking trail for long walks. Owner was very attentive and accommodating. We especially liked the little extras, like specialty coffees and clean linens.

This lake house was amazing. Beautiful sunsets and a great fire pit on a picturesque lake. You won’t want to spend any time indoors, but when you do, you’ll have the most incredible views and be able to enjoy a warm, welcoming cabin. It was even a wonderful setup for our two small children. They loved playing on the rocks in the lake and running around the beautiful backyard. The owner was so helpful, checking in with us right after arrival and right before checkout to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Thanks again, Don! We hope to be able to stay again next year!

Absolutely perfect lake house

Wonderful Property and Owner
Beautiful location. Clean and very tastefully decorated. The wicker rocking chairs on the deck got a workout every day! The owner went out of his way to make sure our stay was everything we wanted and needed. Thank you for a great vacation.

“Up North” vacation
This lake house is a perfect family getaway. The home is located on a quiet road that lends itself to morning walks. The trails close by also were enjoyable to explore.
Our days were split between spending time on the spacious deck enjoying the amazing views of the lake and being down on the water. The deck furniture is super comfortable. There’s also a 6 person dining table with an umbrella for dinners outside or to enjoy a game of cards.
The dock provides good space for a group to sit and there are 2 chaise lounge chairs that are at the end of the dock. Morning coffee and lazy afternoon naps were too good to pass up at this spot. Additional chairs are provided by the owner to bring down to the dock.
The home is very clean. The living space has a nice relaxed vibe to it. The kitchen has all of the essential necessities and the 3 bedrooms are spacious and air conditioned.
The town is only a few miles away which made for convenient trips to the grocery, restaurants and for ice cream.
Don, the owner, was super responsive to any questions that we had during our stay.
This house is what “up north” vacations are all about.

Cottage is very clean and slept 8 comfortably. Waterfront deck is awesome! We spent every evening enjoying amazing sunsets over beautiful Burt Lake..The yard provided ample space for some serious Cornhole and a bonfire or two. We took our 19 foot boat and found it just a short ride to the mouth of Indian River and the Burt Lake State Park sand bar..but did find it best to remove our boat from lake each night as the winds come and go at will.creating some choppy rough water. Great place..would definitely recommend to friends.

Cottage is very clean and slept 8 comfortably. Waterfront deck is awesome! We spent every evening enjoying amazing sunsets over beautiful Burt Lake..The yard provided ample space for some serious Cornhole and a bonfire or two. We took our 19 foot boat and found it just a short ride to the mouth of Indian River and the Burt Lake State Park sand bar..but did find it best to remove our boat from lake each night as the winds come and go at will.creating some choppy rough water. Great house that accommodated four adults and a 21/2 year old.
We had a great week with a cousin, her husband and granddaughter. The owner was responsive to answering questions and made sure we were all checked in and asked if we needed anything. There was plenty of gas for the week of grilling. Getting in the water is a little rocky so wear your water shoes, but that didn’t stop us from getting in the water. GPS directed us right to the house and since we have been on Burt Lake area, we know are way around and usually shop at Walmart, but Ken’s is a great place for shopping as well. Enjoy your vacation! Thanks Don for making us feel so welcomed.

Enjoyable and relaxing!
Don and Brenda are great owners! They are very nice and friendly to work with. The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The deck is awesome for relaxing and enjoying fabulous sunsets. It’s a great Burt lake location!
