"I stayed here with my two children and au pair in July and August. The apartment is really lovely, and is very comfortable with lots of character for people looking for something 'French'. Everything was laid on and Mdme Devilleneuve, who is such a lovely friendly person, thinks of everything. The area is very pretty, safe, and pleasant and has some lovely small shops to get your bread in the morning etc. The amazing Parc Bordelaise is practically next door. I was on foot and even though I enjoyed the 20 minute walk into Bordeaux city centre, for those who cannot or do not want to walk a car is necessary to go anywhere(there is a garage to park it in).I would recommend this apartment for anybody looking for peace, comfort, safety and good base to travel to city, vineyards etc."
