Dinner was exceptional we had an excellent meal. Breakfast was OK (avocado was inedible). Not a clear menu. Quiet location and bed was excellent, spacious room

Very cosy, traditional country pub with flagstone floors and tiny little separate areas with beams so the bedroom was a very pleasant surprise as it was large, contemporary and the bathroom was very modern and stylish. Fabulous walk in shower. The bed was huge! Very comfortable. The bedroom was in a separate converted barn and it was very dark and quiet overnight. Food was far from conventional pub grub. Some strange options but what we had was delicious. The breakfast included in our rate was first class. Very busy pub all the time, lots of outdoor seating areas which is good, because there isn’t much room inside.

Nothing to dislike. It was a perfect location and accommodation for the wedding we were attending a few minutes away.

We stayed over in a very large room. Comfortable bed and nice linens. But the white carpet needs a clean.

Some excess furniture and items were stored in the hallway close to the room. Looks a bit unorganized - perhaps work in progress?

Fabulous comfy room with enormous bed and your own garden patio. Lovely views from the garden. Perfectly placed to visit Sissinghurst. Food was delicious if a little pricey. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Staff were good but one did spoil it, never mind. Lack of direction regarding the restaurant, felt a bit like a … down to staff maybe but all else quite pleasant.

A spacious well-appointed room in a quiet location (away from the main pub building), with a view over open countryside. An excellent dinner, with friendly efficient service in a good atmosphere.

No blinds at the windows - a passing lorry driver saw me naked which really wasn't ideal!! Carpet in Hound was stained & wardrobe had few hangers which were mostly bent

The pub is full of old world charm, the food is locally sourced and delicious.
