The apartment was in a local Sicilian style. It had a lot of summer-vibe decorations which was cute. The hosts were very polite, welcomed us warmly, and explained everything in detail.

We were a group of 5 girls, no couples. The apartment is advertised to have 3 separate bedrooms and 6 beds, however, one of the "bedrooms" was a hallway in which they have put a sofa. So this was very disappointing as one of our main criteria was that no one sleeps on a couch. Not only that but this "bedroom" (hallway) is the only way to get to the kitchen and the 2nd bathroom. So there was no privacy at all - if someone wanted to go in the kitchen they would have to pass through your "room" at 100%. Very inconvenient for 5 people. Unfortunately, the false advertising of the apartment was misleading and we regretted our choice when we saw that there were no 6 beds, but 2 double beds and 1 couch. I do not recommend this apartment. It was pricey for a vacation on the couch. Also, there were absolutely no blankets nor duvet covers! We were forced to take the BED covers (which were definitely not washed any time close) and to sleep without linen. We searched the whole house - no blankets, no additional duvets, this was a disaster. The house was not clean, there was dust all over the corners. The owners didn't leave a single roll of toilet paper, even from previous guests. We had to search for local markets to get at least that - all were closed by the time of arrival. No coffee machine as in the description - only a mokka maker. I would return to Castelamarre but not to this property. The owners need to make it more comfortable for their guests and put more effort into maintenance.

Location is perfect, Angela was very nice host and extremely helpful and easy going!

The host Angela is super friendly, speaks very good english so did not have any problems communicating. Apartment is super clean and nice. Believe me, the pictures are real and place looks really lovely. Apartment has lovely Sicilian taste. Applause for the Angela who created the interior :) Apartment is in the city center, so it's super easy to reach the town on foot. It takes only 5 min to the nearest restaurants, cafes and bars, and 15 min walk to the port to other fabulous places. At arrival the host left us a recommendation note were to eat fish, meat, pizza and what to visit nearby. If you want to reach the city beach it only takes 10 min with car. Town is perfect for holidays. Would really recommend the place for family or friend groups. Thank you Angela again for perfect holidays at your place :)
