OCEANFRONT Waves- La Waves Dr. (Anciennement Chateau Sur Mer) LANDSHARK vous emportera avec ses chambres spacieuses, ses terrasses généreuses et sa vue imprenable sur l'océan. Située en bord de mer avec un accès facile à la plage, cette maison dispose de deux douches extérieures pour se rincer du sable avant de sauter dans la piscine privée en bord de mer. Le bain à remous est perché sur le pont du premier niveau surplombant la piscine, juste à l'extérieur de la vaste salle de jeux où vous trouverez un mini-réfrigérateur au bar. Jouez au billard ou installez-vous sur le canapé-lit devant le grand téléviseur à écran plat. Une salle de bain complète est partagée par la salle de jeux et une chambre avec lit simple et lits superposés. Une chambre des maîtres avec salle de bain privée est également à proximité. Le niveau intermédiaire abrite quatre grandes chambres, dont deux sont des chambres de maître avec des douches à l'italienne et des baignoires jacuzzi dans leur salle de bain privée. Les deux autres chambres (queen et 2 simples) partagent une salle de bain complète entre eux. Toutes les chambres ont un accès privé à la terrasse pour se détendre en plein air, lire et contempler au calme devant de jolies vues sur l’eau. Le niveau supérieur comprend une salle immense avec des plafonds hauts et de grandes fenêtres qui offrent une vue sur l’eau bleue. Un grand téléviseur à écran plat est installé au-dessus du foyer à gaz, offrant un point focal pour le coin salon confortable. La table à manger et le bar de petit-déjeuner peuvent accueillir tout le groupe après que le chef de la famille ait préparé le repas du soir dans la cuisine personnalisée avec un plan ouvert et des comptoirs en granit. Sortez les curseurs vers le pont supérieur pour profiter du soleil et de la conversation ou montez à bord des navires pour observer les environs naturels à vol d'oiseau. La suite principale au niveau supérieur comprend une baignoire carrelée en céramique et un grand jacuzzi pour une détente totale après une journée passée dans les vagues. This was the most
disappointing rental I have ever experienced, and I have rented a lot of houses!
We made several calls to the realtor, one regarding the sliding glass door with broken off lock. Later in the week we noticed three sliding doors had locks but could be pushed open when locked.
The house had thick dirt/dust on all of the ceiling fans that we wouldn't turn them on and the furniture had years worth of stains on them. Don't expect much light throughout the house either, half of the lamps didn't work in the bedrooms!!
The pool has weeds WITHIN the fence as high as the fence!!! We were told twice someone would be out to weed it out but no one ever showed up! These are thick weeds with nasty prickers on them, so when my son went to get a ball he had tossed accidentally into the weeds, he hurt his finger so badly, by these balls of prickers, that his fingers bled!!
We also had an issue getting the pool heater turned on! We were first told we didn't pay for it then were told it wasn't worth the money because it wouldn't make the pool any warmer! Once we finally got that pool guy out and the heat turned on, it made a huge difference in the temperature!
Just an all around awful experience. This is the 2nd house we have rented a Surf or Sound Reality property and will NEVER rent from them again!!!

Beautiful Location, Okay Home
The location of this home was just beautiful, right on the ocean with amazing views of the sunrise, dolphins, birds, etc. The home itself, from a cleanliness and maintenance perspective, was underwhelming. We had to call for maintenance because one of the door handles was super loose and we couldn’t get any of the TVs to work. The property manager responded very quickly (same day), so we were happy with the maintenance response and timeliness.
A lot of the cables were missing from the DVD players and some of the remotes didn’t work. We didn’t use all the bedrooms, but we noticed one of the twin bed platforms was broken. The master bathroom shower had black caulking in the corners, in fact the outdoor shower was the best shower head in the whole house. And I want to be clear that this isn’t a surface clean problem (the cleaning crew did fine), it’s a replace the shower caulking kind of dirty. So when I say clean, it was surface clean, but definitely not maintained well long-term. It was certainly livable, but if you’re expecting a very clean and well maintained vacation home, then you might be disappointed.
We enjoyed it overall, but it wasn’t worth the money we spent due to the condition of the home. There’s certainly opportunity for the owner to better maintain the home in the future. If that happened, then we’d certainly return.

If you are worried about COVID beware.
Overrall the house was as expected. The biggest issue I had was we were allowed to check in early but only because the house was not properly cleaned. I mean fish still in the fridge, sticky floors, water marks on table and just disgusting. We called Surf and Sound and they were on it to get the cleaners back out. The cleaner who came out while we're there said it was clear they didn't do their job. She was great though. We have a high risk baby, so coming to a home that was not properly cleaned during a pandemic was a problem for us.

Great location. plenty of room, well stocked kitchen dishes and utensils, beds were very comfortable, outdoor showers convenient (with warm water too!). Will definitely consider for our next beach vacation.
