Very large comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Very friendly service. It felt calm and peaceful.

10 minutes walk from the beach up/down a very steep hill. However, it felt like an incredible retreat and was nice to escape the busier beach front.

This villa has been beautifully designed, with a traditional look and Western standard services and facilities. The rooms are incredibly spacious, very clean as is the bathroom. The key is the staff: the reception, chef, driver and the owners who manages all aspects of the client experience. You will love.

The entire stay is So good. We had a great ayurvedic massage. MR.Arun received us well and took care of all our need. We will definitely visit again.

Nothing not to like. But the Ayur Villa website could use some improvements to better describe the rooms and all the amenities included in the stay.

the cleanliness was imperative to me, I worry about the condition of the linen when staying in a non chain hotel ! this time I need not have, it was 1st class. fresh white sheets, perfectly clean room and bathroom. plenty of space and wonderful lounge dining room. everything was 1st class. don’t hesitate to stay here! worth every pound, cent dollar rupee !! Vishnu the manager was so obliging a charming young man, who couldn’t do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. nothing was too much trouble, NO is not in his vocabulary he will do what ever is asked of him.. I loved every moment at the AYUR Villa and would most definitely stay again without hesitation. thank you Vishnu you have wonderful accommodation and you are a superb host. loved every minute here. don’t hesitate book your room you will be so pleased you did.

The villa is well designed and well maintained. Even though, it has a small pool, my kid loved it. Also, the care taker Vishnu was helpful and cooperative. We loved our stay here

It was a pleasure staying at the Ayur Villa. We booked to stay here very last minute (30 minutes before arriving!), but upon arrival we were welcomed by extremely friendly staff and a lovely, clean room. The room size was larger than expected (with a dressing room included) and the bed was very comfortable. The food at Ayur Villa was second to none and allowed us to try well cooked, traditional Keralan food. Ayur Villa is only a short walk away from the beach which meant we did not have to rely on taxis everyday. The ayurvedic massages were extremely relaxing and great to experience. A big shout out to Vishnu who was incredibly hospitable - he was there whenever needed and helped to make our stay enjoyable. It was lovely to meet Anjali and Anish as well (the owners of Ayur Villa) who were keen to make our stay as memorable as possible. Overall, we had a great, relaxing time at the Ayur Villa and we would recommend to all. Look forward to coming back one day!

It would be lovely if the pool was slightly larger so that guests could swim in it. This would add to the relaxing environment.

We loved the place; extremely comfortable, authentic with an amazing blend of traditional Kerala furnishing and modern amenities. The place and staff was so nice that we didn’t feel like leaving it at all…Highly recommended!!!!

Everything was perfect!!!!

The staff were amazingly helpful and super patient. The rooms were huge, though to be fair, my parents and my 2 children could have stayed in a single room with the connecting twin room. The team accomodated our food preferences as I was travelling with 2 elderly strict vegetarians and 2 young children under the age of 8. I would viist again with a large group of friends for some sight seeing and treatments, but I would not bring my young kids back there.

The size and the amount of people that the rooms can accomodate should be open - and upto to the person booking the room. I felt that booking.com forced me to book the 3 rooms, while 2 rooms would have sufficed I would love to see a list of all the things that are on offer at the villa and that the villa team could help with. The info was shared when requested, but if I did not ask, I did not get. It was not particularly child friendly. My 3 year old and 8 year old were accomodated - but there were no toys, books or anything for them to do at all.

The rooms were very spacious. I booked a double deluxe family suite and was very neat and comfortable. The staff were very cooperative and was available whenever required. Complimentary breakfast was awesome. The place was calm and quite foe a perfect stay.

It was little hard finding the place. Google maps kept giving us wrong turns. Finally had to call the hotel to get there. One more thing was it was little difficult to find transportation from the resort to go to the beach.

The Ayur Villa absolutely exceeded our expectations. They sent an airport pick up at only Rs. 800 and their driver pointed out some lovely sights on the way. Gorgeous, plush room and excellent service from Vishnu who was so sweet and helpful throughout our stay. It was so peaceful, quiet and all the staff were so lovely to us. Since they don't serve lunch or dinner, Vishnu went the extra mile to go out and purchase some chips for us to snack on. He also helped us with directions, guiding our taxi to the villa while leaving and generally making us so comfortable. Kovalam is where I grew up, so it really felt like home.

Wish they served dinner too; they only serve breakfast. We had to either eat out the whole day or order in or bring back food. Since the walk to the beach and any other restaurant is a little long, you don't feel like stepping back out to hunt for food once you're back from a tiring, sweaty day in the sun. You also have to book Ayurveda massages and treatments in advance, but that's okay.

Staff is attentive and helpful - 5 stars. Breakfast was very good, one of the best dosas I've ever tried - 5 stars. Quality of the building is on higher side.

Location on the map is wrong. Road to beach is lengthy, not pleasant or convenient.
