Property manager Luciah was great and assisted with of needs. Are rental car company (Courtesy Car) met us at the ferry and brought us to the rental location to pick up our jeep, and Luciah met us there and took us to our condo. I'd have to say, driving on the island and on the opposite side (left) of road is a challenge but like anything else you get use to it, the drive and road to condo is very steep, glad to have rented a jeep LOL. Balcony and views were amazing, just enough space for two, spiral stair case and loft bedroom is quite challenging for our older age, but we manage. we'd definite return next year. Thank you Daniel. Our time was wonderful and met nice people on the beach especially Reef 2 Beach at Maho which we made our daily stop.

This was a dream vacation for us. The property owner was very receptive and attentive to us. The property itself is absolutely beautiful!!! The views are unbelievable, we spent most of our time on the porch!!

This place is a perfect stay for two people. Very nice and clean. On par with other more expensive places we have stayed on the island. Only complaint was that when the neighbors got there you could here every word they said through the walls. We would definitely stay at this place again though.

My wife and I have been to the island together 12 times now and Bliss is the only villa where we've stayed on multiple occasions (3 times). We like to stay in different spots on the island for the different vibes, but we are getting ready to book Bliss again for next year and here's why: The view from the covered deck is incredible all day long and it's under shade most of the day; especially the hottest part of the day. Even though it's in the upper deck complex, you feel like you're all alone. You can sit in the comfy chairs and read a book while the breeze blows constantly, keeping everything nice and cool. Bonus: You get to see sunset from the one of the best views on island. The villa itself is very comfortable with a nice, well equipped kitchen, large shower, and a living area with the same great view as the deck. They furnish fins, masks, beach chairs and noodles. That is going to save you $$ not having to go rent them! The loft upstairs is plenty cool with the a/c blowing as cold as you want right on you in a very large, clean and comfortable bed. The view out the window there is also tremendous! Location is 5 minutes from Cruz Bay/Mongoose. 10 or 15 minutes to the beaches. 30 minutes to Coral Bay. Taxis will go up there, but it's hard for them and they don't like it. We always get a jeep. I'd give 6 stars if they would let me. The owners are some of the sweetest people on the planet and our experience couldn't have been better!

My husband and I absolutely LOVED our stay at Bliss! The greeter met us at our Jeep rental to guide us to rental which was necessary with the twists and turns and getting used to driving on left side of road. He was very kind and showed us around. The view: holy cow. The porch or dreams! We spent most of our time on porch when at the house. Not enough words to express how great it was but we will be back! The outdoor shower: one of my favorite features we used each day! The rental was clean, had coffee pot and I cooked breakfast each morning with gas range. The spiral stairs were fine and the upstairs bedroom we only used for sleeping. - thankfully I brought our sleep mask bc the AC light is very bright and there are no window covering above the bed. If I could give one recommendation (the only one!) it would be to have currents over windows that can be drawn as needed. There were no other guests in vicinity while we were there so we had the pool to ourselves which was another bonus. Overall, we felt on top of the island with incredible views, peaceful with the sounds of birds and will definitely be back!

The photos are not an exaggeration or taken to hide anything these views are amazing. Other then sleeping we spent most of our time on the deck.

The condo was everything we hoped for. We have stayed on St. John four times and by far this was the best view we have ever had! The condo was very comfortable for two people, and everything we needed was provided. Note that the spiral stairs to the bedroom loft might be difficult for some....we found it to be no problem, but just be sure you are aware of this. Sitting on the balcony in the mornings and the evenings was amazing -- listening to the sounds of the island all around us and enjoying a perfect sunset. There were plenty of towels provided (both beach and bath) and the outdoor shower was great to rinse off all the beach sand before heading inside. The washer and dryer was a huge plus to have on hand. The location was perfect -- not too far from Cruz Bay but far enough away that it was very quiet. The walls of the condo are a bit thin, so we heard our neighbors sometimes, but it did not ruin our time at all. The property owner, manager and host were all lovely and very helpful and communicative as well. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back. My husband's 50th birthday was a success!

Stunning views overlooking the bay with a fantastic property manager. We enjoyed the quiet and privacy, and would stay here again. I definitely would recommend a jeep for freedom to get to all the gorgeous snorkeling spots and beaches. This was a first trip to St. John, and we look forward to returning to Villa Bliss.

Dan and the management team were incredibly helpful in getting us to our rental car and checking in. Even after our flight was delayed, they were very flexible. The villa is beautiful and is perfectly located just outside Cruz Bay. The best part is the sprawling porch and breathtaking views, especially of the sunsets. Would absolutely recommend for a couples getaway!

My girlfriend and I stayed at bliss for a week! What an experience. We were amazed at the spectacular view from the Villa! Dan was very helpful and prompt with any questions or concerns that I had! Highly recommend this place to everyone! Can’t wait to go back! 😎🌴

Tons of value in this property. Unit was clean and comfortably equipped. Location very convenient to Cruz Bay shopping and restaurants. Short drive to all the North Shore beaches. Villa Bliss is equipped with all beach-going items you would need: coolers, chairs, towels, snorkeling equipment. Kitchen and outdoor gas grill has everything you’d need for easy meals. Bedroom area is accessed by a set of steep spiral stairs that are not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties or for young children, in our opinion. Next door unit is very close but was unoccupied while we were there, a good thing because we experienced peace and quiet. Tall people will find the bed a bit short. The mattress is very firm. No blinds on the windows at the head of the bed. Fine for us - we went to bed early and were up early to enjoy coffee on the balcony overlooking Cruz Bay, and we got an early arrival at the beaches to boot. Watched the ferries coming and going. Iguanas lounging in the treetops below us. Sunsets were jaw-dropping and an event of each day for us. No need to go to the Windmill Bar when you are staying at Villa Bliss. Make cocktails at home and enjoy. Pool was refreshing at the end of the day and we rarely had anyone else there, even though it’s shared with other units. Dollar for dollar, you can’t go wrong here but just know the bedroom situation is a bit quirky. It’s air conditioned in the bedroom area, the a/c unit puts off ambient light that’s pretty bright, if you’re sensitive to light levels while sleeping, beware. We were met at the ferry on arrival and driven to the villa, which was super helpful and appreciated as we arrived in the dark and rain. This hospitality started our week off on a great note. Thank you to Dan, Luciah and Jay for your wonderful hospitality! We’ll be back. The island has our heart and you’ve spoiled us with the view from Villa Bliss!

Our 4th visit to magical St. John was our best, yet. We found Villa Bliss to be clean upon our arrival with a well equipped kitchen. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by tropical plants and vibrant bougainvillea vines where iguanas perch atop the bushes in the morning hours and the hummingbirds buzz swiftly in and out of the villa's feeder. This was our first time staying on the Cruz Bay area. This location was close to the magical-clear-waters of the north shore beaches, grocery stores, Mongoose Junction, shopping, restaurants and bars. The narrow spiral staircase was a unique feature leading to the bedroom which we named "our nest". The large picture window facing St. Thomas was the bed's headboard which provided a romantic evening view and a glorious morning panorama. The beautiful views featuring spectacular kaleidoscopic sunsets from the large and comfortable deck was our spot to enjoy drinks after returning from a full day of play and rest on some of the many magical beaches. We appreciated the beach towels, snorkel equipment and beach chairs that were provided for our use. The nearby shared pool was clean and nice to cool off in after returning from the beach. We give Villa Bliss and to our kind host, Dan, a10 - ten times over!!! The day we were to leave, tropical storm Earl decided to pay us a visit in the night, with high winds and heavy rains causing power outages on St. Thomas and canceled flights at the airport. We immediately contacted Dan with our stranded news. He did not hesitate to express his offer to let us stay the extra night at no charge. Who does that?! Once again, THANK YOU, Dan, for making our 36th wedding anniversary a special and memorable week!! We were very happy to find such and amazing property for our anniversary trip. Waking up each day to step out on the deck felt surreal. You won't find these views staying anywhere else on beautiful St. John! The villa was more accomadating than we anticipated with stocked kitchen, comforting cold AC, beach cooler chairs towels bags floats snorkel, few steps to lovely pool, and extremely private and quiet. Minutes away from market, shops, restaurants. Owner Dan had everything set up for our arrival with our host Luciah and Jay picking us up at ferry to villa. This is the place to stay folks on the island! I've vacationed all over the world, hands down one of the best vacations ever. Incredible way to spend 50th bday! Truly paradise! My husband and I rented this villa for our anniversary and would absolutely recommend! The pictures do not even do a justice for the outdoor view from the balcony—it’s incredible! The balcony is extremely large, very private and wraps around two sides. Half is covered and has a large fan for added air and half is open for sunbathing! The multiple types of outdoor chairs was great and I loved the lounge chairs in the sun. The inside is very spacious for two people as well, with a large bathroom and stocked kitchen. The hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. They have beach towels, beach chairs and a large cooler that made our beach trips much more enjoyable. Parking is right next to the unit which makes it easy, and the pool is steps away. It’s only a few minute drive to downtown which we loved. Don’t hesitate to book! We’re already missing those balcony views.

We really enjoyed the view from Bliss! The deck was fantastic and having beach chairs, towels, snorkeling gear, and cooler were very convenient and much appreciated. The location is great! It’s close to Cruz Bay, only a few min drive to the grocery store and ferry terminal. Less than 20 min drive away to pristine beaches. Trunk Bay was by far our favorite and Maho Bay and St. Francis for snorkeling! The villa is well decorated and clean. Definitely make sure you have a Jeep to get there! Jay met us at the car ferry terminal and was very helpful in directing us to the place because GPS only takes you to the bottom of the hill. The downsides were that the walls are thin. Our first night we had trouble falling asleep because the neighbors were blasting their tv. Luckily they were there for only one night. Also there are roosters nearby who are very noisy starting at 3:30am and continue for hours. Also the staircase was fine for us but I would not recommend for elderly people.

As long as you know the island this is a great place but if you don’t be a bit wary. We got minimal instructions from the host and had to reach out three days before we arrived to even know where to go. Typically STJ hosts meet you, drive you there and then go over things thoroughly (this is our 4th visit). We had the host’s husband who was brief at best. Nice guy but man of little words. He showed us pool which was full of leaves and said someone would be by to clean. This was Saturday and by Monday my husband had to ask again because no one had been by. When you go to the beach all day you need a pool at the end of the day!! Also we were never given an address or pin dropped so we had a difficult time finding the house after we left. Thankfully we know the island but we were worried and texted host who did respond right away. But house is very clean, views are AMAZING! Spiral staircase to bedroom would not be good for older renters! Yikes!!

We arrived at dark but we were met by the property manager who escorted us up to the property. To wake up to such an amazing view from this home was just incredible! Nothing but beautiful blue sea and sunshine. We barely wanted to leave the house the views were so beautiful. St John is what you’d hope to see on a tropical island in the Caribbean- lush green trees, pristine beaches and little commercialization. If you go, take the time to explore as much of the island as you can. We visited a different beach day and were able to snorkel right from the beach. Great restaurants just a 5 minute drive from this home. Make reservations well in advance for the better restaurants or you’ll likely be eating at 5:30. Lots of good food options which were recommended by the property owner, Dan. The home itself was great- amazing views. It was great to have both options to sit on the covered or the uncovered portion of the deck, Such a bonus as most of the other properties were just uncovered.!!! We didn’t spend any time at the pool but it was nice to know it was available to use. As others have noted, the drive up to it takes some getting used to, thankfully my husband is a confident driver. We had an SUV but wish I’d held out to get a keep. The place we rented from had none (reservations were made months in advance). I should have shopped other rental car agencies on St John to get a Jeep. The spiral staircase, while necessary for the design of the home also took a little getting used to, but overall so worth it! Highly recommend a trip to St John and this property!

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Bliss. The views are amazing from the spacious deck. The property is conveniently located just a few minutes drive into Cruz Bay. The roads up to the Villa definitely take some getting used to but we got the hang of it. We didn’t have any trouble with the stairs but would have preferred having the bathroom on the same level as the bedroom. We really appreciated the beach chairs, cooler, and towels! Our only complaint would be that we kept having to deal with mosquitoes in the upstairs loft area. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in St. John!
