Big private cabin, breakfast reasonably priced, short walk from the dock
No option to purchase onwards transport or tickets, there didn’t seem to be much atmosphere, we went to other nearby hostels in the evening. We were woken up by crazily loud frogs and roosters from about 4 in the morning but that’s part and parcel of the location

The staff was lovely and very helpful, the garden is very pretty and the pool is great to cool off!
Our main issues might not really be the hostel’s fault at all! We just were woken up a lot by animal noises at night and in the morning, and two of our bags had holes in them after leaving them in the room overnight, maybe due to some mice or something :/

Great value for the money - beatiful hidden eco-lodge, where you feel chilled and relaxed and between young people, available swimming pool and lot of shade under the trees and houses. Friendly stuff, Room with mosquito netting, fan and few shelfs. Bar with snacks, drinks and breakfast available.
Staff should know english basics

The courtyard is amazing, with flowers and hammocks everywhere. Really cute little dining area for breakfast, though they'll make you a smoothie anytime. The bathrooms are super clean (saw staff cleaning twice while we were there only one night.) And painted really cool inside the stalls! I love the style and look of the little bungalows and the bed was actually pretty comfortable too. Breakfast was cheap and delicious and staff were really helpful with local travel advice and recommendations. Also, though I didn't feel unsafe in Livingston, there was a security guard patrolling at night to make me feel extra safe. There's a big sink for washing laundry and clothesline to hang it, which was very handy for me. Oh! And there was a sweet little cat running around!
Worst part were some very nearby and talkative roosters. You kind of have to keep the windows open for a breeze so the noise is very audible. The pool is more like a kids wading pool or water feature but its cute and nice to sit with you feet in. When we first arrived it was kind of difficult to figure out where exactly reception is, so maybe post a sign. Finally, I met some locals who said the iguana was the place to party back in the day. I'd read online that its a great place to party and meet people, but this is no longer accurate if thats what you're looking for. Lights seemed to be out by 10 and I mainly met fellow travelers over morning coffee. Not a problem for me though.

Dorm wirh 2 beds only. Nice and peaceful with a lot of nature.
No kitchen so you'd spend much more staying longer, but good for a night.

Probably our the most beautiful accomodation, but unfortunately the worst sleeping. Very good hotel, I got 1 point less only for place, because we had very noisy local neightbours (roosters and dogs made noise all night). But is not fault this hotel. Beautiful garden with small pool. Good breakfast. Staff is very nice and helpful, they speak only spanish but you can send them message by Booking.
As I say before, roosters starts maybe at 4am or earlier??? It was straight behind my head and earplugs didn't works

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast, drinks, and other menu options were offered at a great price and delicious. The garden is beautiful with lots of areas to relax and hang out. There were a number of showers and bathrooms, so I never had to wait to use them which is a big bonus!
I had a very special experience here. I broke my wrist during my stay in Livingston and could not have been better-taken care of. The family that owns this hostel ensured I made it to the hospital (in the middle of the night), made sure both my friend and I were comfortable, also let us stay in one of their private rooms which was such a treat (beautifully designed space and so cozy). I am so grateful for them! They are lovely and truly care about every one of their guests.

This hostel has a wonderful tropic jungle feel with a great garden full of hammocks and comfortable places to sit. The staff were fantastic and so kind and friendly - the breakfasts are delicious and the rooms clean and comfortable.
Wi-Fi was fine in the main area but didn’t reach to our room.
