Good quiet location. Very nice flat, extremely spacious, comfortable, well equipped and very clean. Close to shops and restaurants. There are many quite stiff stairs in the flat (did not bother us). The garage is great but the entrance is a bit challenging if you have a bigger car as the street is narrow.

It was difficult to find the flat as the address in the Booking.com (del Cipres) and in Google maps (el Cipres) differ and on top of some roads are closed. The owner was eager to help and sent the directions but they were confusing as the Madonna on the wall appeared on almost every other corner.

This was one of the best places my husband and I have ever stayed it. It was clean, convenient, and well-stocked with all the necessities. There was even free parking in an on-site garage. We were within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, bars and city activities. We wished we had been able to stay longer and would love to stay there again.

There are a lot of stairs, so if you are not very mobile you might not want to choose this place.

Clean and great location, suitable for family!

The location of the house in the old town was excellent for sightseeing and restaurants. The apartment was spacious and the garage perfect.

The twin beds in the 2nd bedroom for adults sloped to one side. Ok for a couple of nights and would be fine for children.

The facilities and equipment were first class and plentiful and the cleanliness of the house was such that you could have eaten your dinner off of the floor, and that includes the garage!!! The beds were extremely comfortable, both the double and the two singles and all linen was provided and was of a high quality, the bathroom , situated between the two bedrooms was spacious and luxourious and there was an additional toilet on the lower floor, The accomodation is arranged over four floors, garage, living and kitchen, bedrooms and terrace so you must not be phased by stairs.

Liked everything.

Very well set up, spacious and comfortable. We’re able to walk to all the treasures that Cartagena has to offer. In summer the roof terrace would be fantastic.

Parking place in the middle of the center - huge advantage. Apartment with 3 floors - our kids 7 and 9 years - no problem with them. Very good table football, you feel like home - everything you need in the kitchen. Terrace on the roof - how cool is that in the middle of the city.

For us stairs was not a problem at all. But keep that in mind.

Very helpful host. Check-in went very smooth. Everything was impeccably clean. Cool and still unobtrusibe design with plenty of space and light. Having drinks on the rooftop terrace after sunset was really nice. Definitely recommend if you're traveling by car.

It is definitely one of the best touristic apartments I found in my all life. Hard to find this quality in any aspect together with a great attention. Location was great. Inside parking really helpful, but as it is in historic center, the entrance is narrow. Very spacious apartment, great, we also enjoyed grill on the roof top.

You need to use to stairs - but it wasn't a real problem.

For new visitors the first thing to consider re this apartment is how easy it will be to find. First, the bad news, my Google maps Satnav didn’t recognise the street name at all. My spare Tom Tom did recognise it however. The very good news is that Carlos sent me directions by E Mail before we travelled, and the photos re where to turn off the square etc are absolutely spot on, and I mean they really are 100% accurate, so just get to Plaza de La Merced then follow the pictures! The garage is suitable for a medium sized car. I have an Audi Q5 SUV, and the entry was a tad tight, although we managed well enough. Just make sure that you have Carlos’ phone number to hand so that you can phone him when you arrive at the garage door. He will then open it. The garage also houses a washing machine and there is a supply of washing powder etc. The flat is very modern, beautifully decorated and furnished and centrally located. As an example, Plaza de San Francisco, which was our favourite area in town for beers etc, is less than a five minute stroll along Calle Caballero. From garage level to rooftop terrace is via three flights of stairs. The main living room is very nice indeed with attractive furniture, a dining table, television and, of course, the table football game. The kitchen area is well equipped and has pretty much anything you need. There is also a toilet just off the kitchen area. WiFi works very well. The router tells you which account to sign into and the password is written on a little notice board alongside. It is a long password - so enter it slowly and carefully! Upstairs you have two bedrooms and a very nice bathroom which has a fabulous shower and comes with shampoo, shower gel etc., and large bath towels. Then, further up, there is the roof terrace with a table and chairs. Take the whole package together and I doubt that you will find better self-catering accommodation in Cartagena.
