Best shower ever! Enjoyed having my own kitchen. Owner very easy to get in touch with, responded quickly to questions!

Only drawback weather was warmer than normal no AC and only one window would open. Owner arranged for someone to fix stuck window, but they couldn't make it before I left.

I love everything

This apartment is a great option to stay in Metz. It has an excellent location, near Gare de Metz, Centre Pompidou Metz and Metz Congrès Robert Schuman (and about 20 min walking to Catedral de Metz). It is located in a quite street, with many stores and restaurants nearby. The size of the apartment is good, with an adequate distribution of bedroom, bathroom, and living areas, including a balcony. Decoration was nice, all basic amenities available, bed was comfortable. Temperature was always good, having heating available in all areas. Hot water was always available. Wifi connection was available and excellent. The host was attentive, nice and professional, providing perfect indications to access the apartment, and responding positively to our request to check in a bit earlier.

Minor issue: Due to slow shower drainage, water leaked out onto the bathroom floor when shower was on full. Nevertheless, taking a shower was not a problem if water output was lower.

The location. It was quiet. Really comfortable place.

The finishing touch. It showed the age of the flat.

Two of us stayed in the apartment for 6 nights at the start of August. Before and during our stay our host was very responsive to all our questions. The check in process was easy and worked well. The apartment is about a 5 minute walk to the station, and about a 10 minute walk to the Pompidou centre and Muse shopping centre. The rooms are spacious and there is a large balcony overlooking the car park at the back of the apartment building. Many extras were provided including dishwasher tablets and a Netflix account.

The only real problem we had during our stay was when we locked ourselves out for 3 hours. There was of a faulty bottom lock that we did not have a key for. I believe the host will fix the lock, so hopefully this won’t be a problem for future guests. Although, if not then when you are inside the apartment ensure that you do not push the button in on the bottom lock in the doorknob because it does not pop out automatically when you open the door. A more minor issue was that because of the design of the shower cubicle it was not possible to put the shower on full without the water leaking out onto the floor. At full flow the water did not drain away quickly enough. This was a shame as the water pressure on full flow was good.
