What a wonderful vacation! This house was fully stocked with everything you would need for a family vacation. They also provided plenty of beach chairs, towels, toys, kayaks, etc. everything you need to enjoy time on the beach. There were 12 in our party and there was plenty for everyone, both inside and out. What a relaxing time with our kids and grandkids. There was plenty of room for a family dinner at the table and then the kids (and adults) enjoyed smores around the fire pit! And Sara was very responsive when I had questions. Steps to the beach on one side and the marsh on the other, I would highly recommend this property. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this property again.

This house has it all. We fished, kayaked, paddle boarded, hiked! We drank in the beach side sunrise and moved over to the marsh side sunsets. The kitchen is a treat for people who like to cook. We baked many pies and lobster mac n cheese. Sarah our host was above and beyond kind and helpful. We hope to vacation here again.

This is a beautiful home, located on the ocean on one side, the marsh in the front, only a short walk to the town. You’re a place to shop, have ice cream, or dinner! The views are fantastic! We had a wonderful time, and the owners were very accommodating, and very nice! I’ve stayed there twice, I recommend it to anyone.

Everything about this house and location is awesome. Had 12 family members including 4 kids together for a much needed 5 night stay that had been planned for years. Walk out the door to beach and fun! Everything needed is in the house and then some. Super clean. Owners Sara and Art were wonderful. Great communication. So much to do and yet so relaxing. Clean sandy beach and kayaking on the marsh plus so many cute shops and good restaurants without the crowds. Our family will cherish this experience forever! We will be back again!

Such an amazing location!! Sara walked us through the house and provided insight that really made Scituate feel like home! Could not have been happier!

Normally travel for Labor Day but not this year and didn’t feel like we missed out on anything. Great house, great owners, 5 stars all around!

You cannot get any closer to the water. We visited this property when the weather was in low 70's and our children did not get out of the sand and water. It was so easy to walk out the house and go straight to beach. Sara has truly made this place feel like the most equipped beach house. She has everything you could possibly need: toys, paddle boards kayaks, beach chairs, beach towels. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. You seriously can just bring your luggage and you are all set. Sara was friendly and responsive. We loved meeting her in person to show us around the house. Everyone had an amazing relaxing time in this gem!

This was a perfect location with great views of the ocean and salt marsh from the wrap around deck complete with two fire pits. We were able to set up our clam bake on the marsh with the sunset as a backdrop. Everything was clean and comfortable. Sara was very helpful with facilitating our stay. We had a wonderful time!

The property is amazing. You couldn’t ask for more. Something for every age. The views are incredible. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Great home for a large family vacation.

We spent the week in the Gibbs property with our family of 6. It was so well appointed, beautifully decorated and plenty of space for all of us to spend great quality time together, but yet find space to spread out. It is an amazing property and completely, without a doubt would reccommend it to anyone and everyone.

We couldn't recommend this house highly enough. Our family of 7 stayed for a beautiful weekend getaway. The house was immaculate and stocked with every imaginable amenity. We enjoyed being right on the beach and walking into town for coffee. The biggest hit was the marsh and being able to kayak and catch fish and crabs. We will definitely be back! My friends and I stayed a weekend at this property for a wedding at the Scituate yacht club. The experience could not have been better! Sara was so friendly and responsive and thoughtful! Her attention to detail and special touches, like having prosecco and champagne flutes waiting for us on arrival, were truly above and beyond. The home itself was immaculate with sweeping views of the ocean. I would love to go back and I have already recommended the property to other friends!

I have rented this beautiful property for the last four years and it is by far the nicest vacation home I have ever had the pleasure of staying in! The home is perfectly appointed including a well-stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, beach chairs and bikes, kayaks and paddle boards. Sara is a responsive owner and pays attention to the details that matter. We enjoyed sunrise each morning on the beach side of the house and sunsets each evening on the marsh side! It is a short walk into town for ice cream or shopping and there is plenty to do in Scituate center. Thank you to Sara for sharing her wonderful home and hospitality!

Everything about this property is great!! It's the best beach rental in Scituate!! Sara is a great hostess and made sure every detail was perfect for us. The home is well stocked with beach toys, paddle boards for both the marsh and the ocean, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. It's great to sit on the shaded beach deck sipping an afternoon cold beverage or enjoying the same deck over coffee watching the kids play in the sand steps away. It was our second time here. We will be back again and again.

We hosted a Graduation Party for our daughter and her friends and their families. It was the Perfect Party House!! Rest assured, no false advertising - the photos look absolutely like the home, except in person it is even more breathtaking and sexy! The photos do not show the cool view from the front decks, overlooking the lagoon and marsh lands. We enjoyed hanging out there to catch the late afternoon sun. The home is spotless! Kitchen had EVERYTHING you could imagine and more. Unlike some VRBO's that you have to bring your own coffee and spices - this kitchen is decked out. The owners Sara and Art are amazing - they greeted us and gave us the tour. Plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, a myriad of outdoor seating areas with comfortable furniture (also umbrellas everywhere for those who do not want direct sun), dozens of extra bath and beach towels. I challenge you to find anything you want or need that isn't in this home. And the town of Scituate is so cute! Feels like the Cape without the hassle of getting there and throngs of crowds. We rented the Mayflower House for a gathering of friends celebrating a successful work venture. Many of us were from out of state so it was important that the house was well stocked because we couldn't bring anything of our own. This is the best appointed house I have ever stayed in. The setting was gorgeous, on the beach with the marsh out the front. We took kayaks through the marsh, into the harbor and around to the beach. We biked around the beautiful neighborhood. We had a lobster bake, then spent the night all sitting around the gas fire pit. There are enough deck chairs, beach chairs, towels, spices, games, puzzles, cooking and bathroom supplies. I highly recommend this lovely home!

This house was quite wonderful--well stocked with everything from shampoo to coffee, clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen has all the spices we could have wanted and excellent appliances. We had plenty of space to spread out in and gorgeous views of the ocean and marsh. While we missed having waves to jump over/surf on, we enjoyed using the several kayaks and paddle boards that came with the house. There are also bikes for getting into Scituate, although it's a pleasant and easy walk from the house into town.
