Property was very clean and spacious. The entire family enjoyed the trip and the location is excellent to get to both Gatlinburg and Ober Gatlinburg within minutes and Pigeon Forge. The host was outstanding and responded quickly to any questions I had prior or during the trip. This place did not disappoint and had everything we needed from the game room to the accommodations. Thanks for a Great Weekend Getaway! BTW views were also outstanding!

I enjoyed our stay the cabin was just like the photos. Easy access, close to town without being in town. Plenty of space, comfy beds, game room was super nice it kept everyone happy and occupied. Plenty of parking for 3 vehicles. Our group was large 12 the only thing I wasn’t prepared for was my infant gates was to small for the width of staircase

We had a wonderful time at this cabin, super spacious, clean, plenty of bedding and towels, super comfy king size beds, beautiful views, plenty of kitchen stuff for cooking, lots of arcade games and lots of seating in the theatre room. They tried to provide all that you need like movies for example. The property manager was prompt whenever I emailed him the list goes on and on all good things to say! It’s super close to the Gatlinburg strip. We saw bears on multiple occasions.They even had the cabin decorated for Christmas I would definitely stay again!

Our 2nd girls trip in this cabin and it did not disappoint! We will always stay here. It’s clean, spacious and close to downtown. The owners are remarkable to work with and quick to respond.

We had a party of 11 stay at Where Eagles Dare in August 2023 as part of a 60th wedding anniversary celebration for my in-laws.
We were very pleased with Where Eagles Dare. My in-laws wanted to be up in the mountains and they were thrilled with the views off the decks. They have some minor issues with mobility. So, having a first floor master for them was ideal.
The location is also excellent. You have access to a pool and a fitness area in the neighborhood, which we took advantage of. It's a short drive down the hill to the main strip in Gatlinburg and also not too far to get into Pigeon Forge.
The property itself was very clean. No issues whatsoever. Bedding and towels were fresh. The beds were very comfortable - my in-laws have an expensive bed that monitors sleeping habits and my MIL said she slept better at Where Eagles Dare than she does at home. Maybe something about the fresh mountain air in addition to the comfy mattress? Fridge and dishwasher worked great. Water pressure in the showers was also
The house is equipped with everything you need to stay entertained if you elect to stay in. We took advantage of the movie room, which comes stocked with some DVDs in addition to some streaming options on the TV. There is also a pool table, an air hockey table and three different arcade game systems. The first floor has a large table that we put to use to play card games as a family.
This was a great stay. Highly recommended.

We came for a family vacation and my daughter got proposed to! Where Eagles Dare was on top of a mountain absolutely stunning. Bears would take a stroll through the parking lot! The location to everything was so convenient, the size of the cabin was perfect for our family of 11, with room to spare. The game room was a huge hit! Highly recommend this vrbo!

The lodge was everything it said it would be. My family young and old enjoyed the entertainment room downstairs. The beds were comfortable but be sure to look for fluffier pillows in drawers under the beds. I would stay here again. Plenty of room for our family of 17. Glen was always available to answer question and help with anything we needed. Great experience. The view from balconies was exceptional.

The cabin was perfect for a family vacation - having the games and movie room in the basement gave us lots to do together. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful views! The bathrooms could have been cleaner but other than that we were very happy.

We enjoyed our stay. Would recommend for others. Pros: super easy to communicate with owners (they seemed very nice), really convenient location, nice views, amazing game room and plenty of space. Cons: no baby gate for stairs, no light above hot tub, mildew in upstairs shower head and around nozzles.

This is a great place for a large group. Perfect with kings in all rooms and en suites. Lots of room throughout the house. Balcony views are stunning.

We had a great weekend in Gatlinburg. We have stayed in Gatlinburg Falls twice and loved the area both times.
Our host, Glen Mitchell was wonderful. I had a couple of questions and he answered me promptly. He even allowed us to get in about an hour early.
Where Eagles Dare was the name of our chalet. It was a 5 bedroom chalet and I would highly recommend it.

This was an awesome cabin. We had 9 adults and 8 kids staying and had plenty of space! The beds were all super comfy. The cabin had a lot of toiletries/dishes provided. Location was great. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is as high on this mountain as you can get. It was clean and in good shape. The listing is accurate. The exercise area is in a separate building. All TVs are smart TVs but not Chromecast or Roku. The kitchen is well equipped.

We loved everything about the cabin. There was plenty of towels, space and fun for children and adults. We took our kids and grands and we all had a ball! It was exactly as described and we never got bored when it rained all day and we stayed in! The owner was very involved and made sure we had everything we needed! Definitely recommend it! We had nothing negative to share!!

What an amazing cabin that met all our families needs. The game room was fun for the kids and allowed them to have a place to hang out as a group. The adults loved the gorgeous views from the balconies and the ease of getting to downtown locations. It was extremely clean and unlike other cabins we have stayed in some staples were provided. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone and hope to stay there again in the future.

They only had 2 towels per bathroom. Our group was 11 people and We didn’t even have enough to bath everyday. We had to wash towels every day. The beds are uncomfortable and the sheets did not fit well on mattress

Fun activities and especially enjoyed the surround sound theate. Everything was Clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were perfect with the private bathrooms. We enjoyed everything about our stay!

This was my own celebration for retirement and I wanted to be with my family. The cabin was just the right size we all had king bed to sleep in. The game room kept us all entertained couldn’t ask for anything more. We even woke up to a little snow on our last day. Love the scenery.

Cabin was exactly as described. Close to everything. Beautiful inside and out. Most importantly the cabin was very clean and had a lot of dishes, pots and pans. We will definitely return.

This was a good experience overall, we picked this house so everyone had their own room and bathroom and being 10 minutes away from town. The game room was a lot of fun.
There is some house construction right across from this house, was not expecting that but they should be done soon. With the house construction, other people staying in the area would put their garbage in construction dumpster so bears would come in the morning and at dusk and pull out bags of garbage. The bears seem very tame and not aggressive however I was nervous about using the hot tub since it is on the ground floor.
The furniture was in really good condition and very comfortable. The kitchen had a lot of utensils. The beds were all really comfortable. The house didn't have a rental feeling because it was taken care of really well. If I am to be picky, some of the tiles in the kitchen were broken and missing, burn marks on the counter (Formica counter top), however that did not bother us.
The house was very clean and I would stay again.

Vacation Stay
Everything was great and loved the place. There was construction going on across on two new houses but we were gone most of the day anyways. We got to see three bears up close and personal and loved the view. The hosts are very caring and accommodating since we had an emergency happen at the end of our stay and couldn't leave by check out. They worked with us and even checked in on us. They were even willing to extend our stay but we respectfully declined so we didn't put them out of new renters. Thanks again for yalls patience to Glen and Julie!
