Manchester, Woodstock, Brattleboro et Rutland sont tous facilement accessibles en voiture de Chester. This was a great house, which provided a terrific setting for our ski weekend at Okemo Mountain. We had a terrific time, and I would recommend this to others, without hesitation!

This is a lovely home. Very comfortable. The kids loved the basement game room. Easy drive to Okemo for skiing.

This was such a lovely place to spend a fall weekend! The stars came into alignment and our whole extended family had the chance to visit this beautiful area to be with old family friends who just moved to town. This house was so cozy, from the bedding to the large living room to the warm finished basement for playing pool/fuse ball. Kids were pleased to explore the beautiful property and watch the visiting turkeys each morning. Was very nice to have laundry while traveling with young kids. We had everything we needed, felt very at home, and Eric was very responsive. We will for sure be back!!

The property was great, the pictures don't do it justice. Lots of room and entertainment options. I was with a group of friends and we were actually dicussing booking it again next year...
The second day of our stay, the host messaged us saying that the hot tub (yes, there's a hot tub even though its not shown in the listing) would be an extra cleaning. I reviewed the listing online, checked the property rules binder, searched the emailed document with check in/out instructions, and even talked to the host, Eric, on the phone before arriving... not a SINGLE mention of a hot tub fee (or a mention of a hot tub in general). After I told the host we would not be paying this fee since it wasn't disclosed to us at booking, he then filed a damage claim with vrbo stating "plastic clips were broken on the hot tub cover".
It's really unfortunate, because we all really enjoyed the property, but will not be booking again in the future. I would recommend saving yourself the headache and looking elsewhere.
Also, there was a camera in the kitchen that seemed to be on the whole time... a bit creepy.

Great stay and location. Lots of entertainment options in the house. Only problem we had was downstairs toilet did not flush

The property was wonderful for 2 families. There was plenty of room with all necessary amenities provided, close enough to Okemo, and game room perfect for teens! Eric’s (the owner’s communication) very prompt. Great getaway !

We loved this place! Location was great and the home was very comfortable. We loved all the amenities and our children had a blast as well! We hope to definitely stay here again.

Our stay in Chester was just what we needed for a break from the city. Nestled on a beautiful piece of property, this house had everything we needed to keep us entertained and cozy for the weekend. There was more than enough room for the four of us with a fully equipped kitchen and finished basement that we sadly didn't make much use of. The house does tend to be on the cooler side so you'll definitely want to keep the wood burning stove going.
