We had a lovely stay! Even though we were in the middle of a snow storm for a day the place provided beautiful views with the floor to ceiling windows which made our day enjoyable despite the weather. Everything was clean and as shown in pictures and the Thomas was very communicative. I would stay here again!

This is a lovely cottage for relaxing and enjoying the beauty of Iceland. Kitchen is well equipped and space is ample for a family of 3. Expect to drive always to get to the premier hikes but a great place to come home to at the end of the day.

Absolutely beautiful property with stunning views of the fjord. Love the design and openness of the cottage which has everything you will need. We sat around the large table as a family and recounted our memorable activities in Northern Iceland.

I've spend months traveling around Iceland, two summers in a row. This is beyond question my favorite. The view of the fjord is breathtaking, and one can (as I did), spend hours just watching the colors change. The place is sleek and stylish, and comfortable. Aesthetically satisfying, with all the amenities one could ask for. Absolutely recommend!

We stayed 4 nights at this beautiful home and it was a highlight of our trip. The house is luxurious and the views are mesmerizing. The location is outside of town but a great base for sightseeing. On our way out of town, we drove the opposite way to find one of the best turf houses and churches only 2km away. Don’t miss that. Thank you for our new found peace. Sitting with coffee in bed looking out over the fjord was reviving.

The farm is welcoming and the view is fantastic. It’s not far from Akureyri for those seeking a tranquil setting rich with scenery. Loved seeing the new lambs too. We would definitely stay here again

Amazing stay and an amazing location. Very peaceful surroundings and amazing views and eveything was as promised and expected.

Stayed over Christmas, lodge was lovely. Really clean, warm and in a stunning location. We were lucky enough to see Whales in the Fjord on the way into Akureyri! Husavik was not far, we used the toll tunnel but you need to remember to pay within 3 hours, although you can go online and add your car so payment is automatically taken. Would definitely recommend.

Great property! Roomy and clean. Great big fridge and kitchen and a wonderful view of the Fjord from inside on a comfy couch to outside on the covered patio. There was a mention of a hottub in the manual, but wasn't available. No biggie. The view can't be beat. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This property was gorgeous. It had all of the essentials. It was a beautiful location if you like to get away from the city centres and the view is incredible! We even saw the northern lights. Very comfortable and spacious.

This was our second visit to Nollur having stayed in Sulur previously. We booked Krysuvik a year ago and the arrival instructions we were given then have changed. We weren't informed about the key box but this was quickly resolved with a phone call to Anna-Baura. Krysuvik is a well appointed house and is in a peaceful location with lovely views over the fjord. We were lucky to see humpback whales and pilot whales from the house. The property is well placed for exploring the northern area of Iceland, e.g. Husavik, Asbyrgi, Myvatn, Godafoss and Dettifoss. We loved our stay here.

Perfect in every respect. A beautiful home in a great location. The house has everything you need. The host provides lots of useful information about what to see.

The view from this location is incredible! I could only imagine what it would be like with the northern lights in winter. Good location, the distances to Akureryi (20min), Myvatn (1hr 20 min), Husavik (1hr 15 min) and Dettifoss (2hr 15min) are all very manageable. On the lesser side, the cleanliness of the dishware was not up to the standards set forth by the property managers themselves. This place literally comes with a ton of rules. The check in process was a bit overkill as well.

This property is situated on one of the most beautiful places in Iceland and only 20mins from town. Everything was as described and the owner provided very detailed instructions along with recommendations.

This property exceeded every possible expectation- the view alone is worth every star. House was stunning, clean and had everything good we needed. Kids played on the property and enjoyed the bunk beds. I would love to stay here again!

Stayed here in Krysuvik for 4 nights. Amazing views of the fjord and ther northern lights (when the conditions are right of course! ) The property is very modern with all the amenities you'd expect apart from a washing machine. That beig said the owner kindly let us use he one in the garage next door so wasnt inconvenient at all for us. Would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a place thats outside of town but within a short drive!

A friend recommended Nollur to us from her previous stay here in Iceland 2 years ago, and we're so grateful that she knew about this! House Krysuvik is an amazing steal for the price! The kitchen was one of the highlights- spacious and open with modern amenities. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was modern and a good size for 4 people to share. It is wonderful to wake up and look out on the water every morning and see the changing weather over the incredible landscape. We also had a fun opportunity to wake up to a herd of sheep running across nearby. A truly incredible experience. I cannot recommend this area highly enough, and we will be sure to stay here in the future!

He is also readily available for communication. ~ The property is in a beautiful and serene location overlooking the water. It is evident that great thought was put into the architecture, the design, and the furnishings. Form and function go hand in hand here to make this a comfy and cozy stay! Loved the heated floors, too.

This house is in an extraordinary setting. Just unspeakably beautiful. The layout is excellent with giant windows across the entire front. Very large bathroom with a lot of counter space. The kitchen is easy to use, and the coffee maker with pods was nice to have. Our communication with Anna was easy. The house wasn’t quite ready when we called, but she told us when to come and made it very simple. We were lucky to see the Northern Lights on one of our nights. There is a lot of great information about things to visit in the area. In all, I would highly recommend this house.

Wow, what a wonderful place to stay. We stayed for 5 nights and would happily have stayed longer. It's a convenient base for visiting nearby Akureyri and other sights such as the Myvatn area, Husavik and Godafoss. Or you could happily sit and look at the fantastic view from the lounge window for days on end. We saw the northern lights from the house on the morning of our wedding anniversary which was something really quite special. The kitchen is fairly basic but had everything we needed and it was the first time we've ever slept on a cardboard bed! A highly recommended place to stay, I hope we can visit again sometime.

Great place, secluded and out of the city which was really nice. We were able to see the northern lights from the front window :) the only downside was they only take cash payments and we had difficulty finding an ATM, since everyone else usually takes card around the country. Other than that it was an amazing place. Communication was quick and they even provided a guidebook with some nearby things to see. The bed was also very comfortable!

I decided to go on a week long journey traveling around the north central region of Iceland, and chose this little house as my base. So happy I did! After a day spent in Akureyri getting my bearings of the town and going grocery shopping, the rest of the trip was spent seeing the sights that are located within an easy few hours of travel. The booklet the owners send has a wealth of information and ideas to help with this, but be sure also to do some research before you get here so you can prioritize and plan. The house itself is plenty roomy but cozy, too. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for simple meals, and taking a lunch with you is a great way to save a little money. And I have to tell you, the view over the fjord and up towards Kaldbakkur is enough to make you want to stay here! In fact, the sunrises and sunsets are spectacular, and if you are lucky enough to see the aurora, this is an excellent spot to view them. It is far enough away from lights and noise, but also easily within reach of Akureyri for supplies, sight seeing, and some good restaurants. While in the area, make sure you stop at Brynja for their famous ice cream, and if you're into that sort of thing, there is a wonderful little motorcycle museum near the airport that is definitely worth a visit. Probably my favorite day trip was to go to the Myvatn area to see Godafoss, Skutusdatir, Dimmuborgir, Hofdi, and Grjotagja. That whole area is utterly fantastic and the drive is gorgeous as well. Thanks so much for this perfect little house! I hope to be back, and will definitely be recommending Nollur to friends that are thinking of a trip to Iceland!
