Loved our stay at this perfect property! We travelled for a baseball tournament and this house was perfectly located between baseball parks, the beach and activities. Everything we needed was there and plenty of extras too.

Amazing location, the yard is big, plently of birds. So peaceful, and so close to everything. So nice to go to the pool and hot tub right after work. Wonderful host, very helpful and friendly. Will be back for sure.

Michael’s place was perfect for having a small get-together to celebrate the coming of my daughter’s baby. Would definitely recommend this place for personal stay or for events.

We had 4 people stay and had a wonderful amount of room. Everything seemed to have been supplied for our stay, more than we would have wanted and more than we could have used for our short stay. We were in town for a wedding at the Grove (22min drive) we also made it to the Ringaling Museum (15min drive) Fantastic grocery store (detwilers) within walking/biking distance (2min drive) near plenty of shopping/ a busier main road (University) BUT the property is so secluded and quiet we felt like we were the only ones around for miles. Walk the property, it’s so scenic! We had fantastic weather (last week of March) it was very breezy on the top deck and we spent most of our time there The showers were spacious AND had plenty of room for all your own toiletries The water has a softener on it so the shower is refreshing but make sure to lay down the mats provided. My one suggestion: hand held shower heads the kind with the hose? Property had PLENTY of towels/washcloths! The property even supplied a 5gal water cooler dispenser!

We had a wonderful time with family in a lovely secluded location that was just minutes from shopping and grocery needs. The house was well stocked and were welcomed with a continental breakfast of muffins, fruit, and orange juice. Our dog loved walking the beautiful paths on the property.

Michael is a terrific host. His place was very comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. The property is very private yet also very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We loved our stay!

We love the quiet seclusion that this property offered. But more so, Michael, the owner, is fantastic. Anything we needed was a text away. inside of the home was very comfortable and spacious. He left a yummy little breakfast for us. If you are looking for a secluded quiet getaway, this is the place.

We really enjoyed our stay. Michael was a great host! He gave us some great suggestions on places to visit, including a beach known for finding sharks teeth and then provided my kids with the tools to do so. He also had other beach gear (chairs, cooler, beach towels, sand toys ) for us to use. We arrived at the house and he had the lights on for us and had provided some breakfast items which was a very appreciated touch. The kids wished they had had more time to just hang out at the house and swim in the pool but we did fill our days being out and about. We all enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub in the evening and the beds slept great. My four kids also liked each having their own bed. Michael was quick to respond to any questions we had. The location was nice as it was close to many restaurants and a grocery store but then felt secluded enough with the large front yard and large forested back yard that had a walking trail through it. We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it.

Very nice vacation other than the weather! Amazed at the beds and bedding and the concern Michael showed for our comfort. Basic necessities all provided and plentiful. Enjoyed the hot tub!

Michael is a super host. He was very attentive and cordial. The property is about two acers and its full of trails and nature. It was truly a tropical scape.

Such a beautiful property and friendly host. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. Everything from the fresh fruit and muffins waiting for us upon our arrival to having the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful area made for a perfect weekend birthday celebration!

Apart from the rental being spotless, the property stunning & tranquil, and the kitchen having everything you could ever think of - and probably even more things you wouldn't - Michael was beyond accomodating! Excellent communication and very generous. He went above and beyond by picking me up from the airport and even let me borrow some essentials (dishes, silverware etc.) after my stay to ease my transition into my supposed-to-be-furnished (but unfortunately not) rental. As I have just moved to Sarasota for work, it gives me a great sense of comfort to know that there are people like Michael living in this area. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you so much for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the house was clean had everything you would need. The property is private with lots of trees but still close to everything. The host Michael was super accommodating and communication was great. We will definitely stay here again.

I am not a person who enjoys confrontation and have NEVER given a bad review. We rented Michaels property for 2 couples 6 kids and dog. We felt the need to check out early. Our first uncomfortable/disappointing encounter came from Michael during check in. He notified me that a $200 security deposit and a $25 daily uncrated/roaming fee would occur should we not crate our dog when left unattended. I drove to Petco on our first day and purchased a crate for our 10 yr old, 90 lb dog. These fees were not disclosed or mentioned anywhere in the ad and a pet fee had already been paid upon booking. The property is NOT as advertised and 4 adults felt the ad was misleading. The professional photos attached to the ad do NOT represent the current state of the property. There is a shared driveway connected to an unsettling property next door. The beautiful picture of the fire pit and the swing in the ad are at the neighbors and no where we felt comfortable visiting. Back and left side of house are not pictured in his ad because the appearance and condition are NOT pleasing. Windows boarded up with plywood, appears to have been (?)burned or have some type of black mold growing on the side, unfinished carpentry around the entire building, dust clogging vents, pool surrounded by pallet fence etc. The ad states that 12 people can sleep comfortably in this home and that is NOT true. He even goes as far as saying sleeps a total of 24. He states that additional mattresses are provided to adjust sleeping arrangements. We did use 2 of these. We slept 3 boys in one room,4 people in another, 2 more in smaller room and 1 child utilized a CLOSET SPACE. We even paid an additional $448 upon booking for "additional guest fees". Regardless of the condition of the & the housekeeping/cleaning fee we paid, our group still respected the property, did laundry and dishes up until the day we left. I filled the dishwasher 1 last time leaving 4 dishes in the sink. Trash was brought out and placed into bins, last bag was placed beside the bins. Dog was picked up after/poop disposed of properly etc. Michael reached out to me and I took this opportunity to explain to him why we left early as I was uncomfortable saying these things to him while we were next door. He became defensive and aggressive and even went as far as saying things like 'you're upset with yourself and it's difficult to take your complaint seriously' and then submitted two more payment requests. Do not rent from him.

I cant say enough for this host, everything was exactly as advertised. The property was great and perfect for a weekend getaway. Will gladly recommend this property to anyone.

We stayed over Easter weekend with a large groups of friends and family, Michael was super helpful with everything and very attentive. Lots of fun for big groups to enjoy the area and the property. Thank you!
