Burke's 'Lakeside' Cottage est niché sous d'anciens pins et des montagnes imposantes au milieu de jardins vivaces dans le petit hameau de Sabael sur le lac Indien. Situé dans les montagnes centrales des Adirondacks - les dernières grandes zones sauvages du nord-est. Indian Lake est entouré de 90% de zones sauvages «pour toujours sauvages» avec seulement 10% de propriétés privées vous offrant une merveilleuse expérience de nature sauvage à quelques pas du lac. Le chalet surplombe le lac de presque toutes les pièces, et les Burke ont le privilège de vous offrir un chalet entièrement meublé avec 2 chambres, 1 salon, pouvant accueillir un maximum de six personnes sur deux lits jumeaux, une reine et un double (canapé-lit), un cuisine avec coin repas, grand salon avec cheminée, véranda couverte avec table et chaises, un barbecue au charbon de bois et un flotteur de plage et des canoës et kayaks gratuits. Beautiful location, right on the lake. For the price, expected a clean cottage. This cottage had mold on shower curtain, mouse droppings in bed, dirty blankets, no bedding or towels provided (notified of this by owners after we booked the cottage) mold in coffee maker, no light bulbs in some lamps... so overall great location, needs deep cleaning. Stove and oven did not work. Owner provided discount ($150 out of over $900 for a 2 day stay) For the price, expected more.

Very clean house just steps from the water/beach. Lots of places to sit by the water or up higher over looking the lake with fire pits. Even though there is no cell service (was nice to be cut off) there is fast wifi and a smart tv. Will 100% be back asap

Vacation stay was most relaxing. The property is clean and comfortable. Location is close to local town for dining and shopping. The owners are pleasant and knowledgeable about the lake and other surrounding attractions. This is place is a great choice for families. Great experience.

We had late notice of a couple of days off and were able to book the Lakeshore residence. A little mix up on arrival as there is no internet access but in good spirits all went well. Hot water in the shower is an issue but its the adirondacks. Excellent hosts - would highly recommend.

Utterly relaxing few nights here. The house is like stepping into your Grandparents home but in a cute way and it had all we needed. The screened deck was perfect to enjoy eating al fresco.
Indian Lake is a small slice of heaven. The house is right on the lake front which is shared among the 5 cottages but the kayaks and canoes were always available when we wanted them and there are various little seating areas to enjoy your own space.
Kayaking over the lake and climbing up Bald Face Mountain was a real highlight that we really recommend - gorgeous path and so peaceful.

Beautiful cottage, lake and location!
My family enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage is cozy and the lake is lovely. We did not have much luck catching fish. I would say the only downfall to this cottage is that there is not very much privacy.

The place was great! Nice swimming area. Docks had excellent fishing. Prepare to be off the grid, as cell service was did not exist. Beds were comfy. Porch was also excellent. All in all an exemplary stay.

Simple, peaceful, beautiful place
This was our family's second visit to Burke's cottages on Indian Lake. The owners are wonderful, helpful and interested hosts who make sure you have what you need and that you know where you are going in the area! We stayed in the largest cottage, which comfortably housed our large family, with a well-stocked kitchen and seating areas to accommodate us all. The beauty and simplicity of the property is a breath of fresh air, and induces peace and relaxation immediately. We would highly recommend Burkes, and plan to take family friends with us next year to share the love!
