This property was great and presented as advertised. The house is well maintained and very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. Our only complaint was that there are no cabinets available for food storage. We prepared all of our meals in the house so we had lots of groceries sitting on the counters. This was a small issue considering everything else. It was only a short walk to a very nice beach area. All in all a great place!

Loved this property! Isnt as close to oceanfront as listing makes it seem. Photo is zoomed in. However, the private beach entrance makes it nice and not a ton of sand to track in! Quiet community and clean home!

Lots of stairs here but once you get everything in and settled not that bad.. The kitchen is very well stocked, we cooked lots of different meals and had everything we needed. The house was very clean and the bedrooms are all a good size.. Easiest check in/ out we have ever had.. no stopping by the office and waiting, they sent us a code to get in. They would also send reminders about when to put the trash out.. easy walk to the beach with a private access… Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall the stay was excellent.
I was disappointed that we could not see the ocean even a little bit.
A plastic chair on the deck was broken and should have been removed before we arrived. The disposal sounded really rough so we didn’t use it. These were little things and the house is beautiful and comfortable! We will be back!

Good
We had a wonderful stay. There are a lot of stairs and the cleaning wasn’t 100% but we still enjoyed our stay to the fullest! We will be back next year

Lovely house!!
This house was even more lovely in person. Comfortable and cute furnishings. The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable. We had a party of 10 and this property facilitated us nicely. A short walk to the beach. The stairs are a bit of a workout as the house is 3 levels but not bad. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this property to anyone!

Our Nest was Anything but Empty
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Empty Nest!
The rooms are spacious and clean, the kitchen is perfect for everyone to gather during meal prep, and we ended our week by cooking a delicious, home-cooked seafood boil.
The house was a short walk to the beach, and the neighborhood was friendly and well maintained.
It was the perfect location to spend a week with our son and daughter-in-law who have lived out of the country for the past 4 years, two of our daughter's best friends, and our lifelong friends.
We all reconnected, and renewed surrounded by the comfort and beauty of this house.
We highly recommend this rental home, and look forward to visiting again!

Love topsail
House was very nice and had a very well stocked kitchen. We cook a lot and there was everything we needed. Very nice neighborhood. We were there on the Fourth of July and everyone gathered at the end of the street to watch the fireworks at the bridge. It was so friendly. The beach is a little washed away right now, but still very nice. The house is very close to the beach. The community dock is on a small canal off of the inter coastal waterway, so not really that good for fishing, but a good place to launch a kayak. We had a wonderful stay.

Great house - would stay again
Empty Nest is a beautiful home that met our needs perfectly. It is close to the beach, close to town, spacious and well-equipped. Furnishings are clean and very comfortable. Just remember to bring or rent (we rented) sheets and bath towels. Ward Realty is very efficient and responsive; I would rent through them again.

My family absolutely loved this home!! All the comforts of home!! All the rooms are spacious and clean! A short walk to the beach. Loved that the home is nestled in between trees. Will definitely return!! ❤️
