The host should not knock on the front door at 10pm at night to introduce himself it made the girls uncomfortable.

The proximity to the township. Clean and comfortable, lovely setting. Beds very comfortable.

For 5 people there wasn't quite enough seating in lounge/dining area.

Nice cosy apartment super close to the Franz Josef centre. Spacious bathroom but the rooms were a bit crowded with a double bed and single bed in all three. Surrounding area was private and peaceful

The location and green surrounding. A dining table outside the cottage. Clean rooms and bathroom.

Not a complete set of crockery and cuttlery (only two teaspoons and lack of bowls). The fact that the host asked to tidy the kitchen, clean the tableware and put them back to the cupboard ( “all to the condition they were found”). We never leave mess behind but that was too much to ask. If not done a charge of NZD 25 would apply. Just to note that there was no dishwasher either. In other apartments they just ask to put the dishes to the dishwasher, and that was understandable.

No air conditioning fir the bedrooms, need fly screens on windows to stop sandflys.

Good location. Secluded, yet close to the town and amenities. We were here for new years, so enjoyed the local pub with fireworks at midnight.

Could be a little cleaner. Also, the kitchen needs to be a little more equipped, example, a proper stovetop or oven.

very large bathroom, including a washer and dryer will make the place a lot more attractive only one bathroom for such a large apartment

lovely little cabin, but plenty of room for 6 adults. disability friendly bathroom with ramps to both doors. added bonus was the glow-worm display in the creek next to the house. Logan very helpful and friendly.

Location was really great!

Felt like we were removed from of the tourist world of camper vans and helicopter flights. Very tranquil and gave us the space we needed to spread out for a couple of days. Thank you

TV wouldn't connect to receive channels, but Wifi was available so used phone instead

Not didn’t like but just suggestions heating in the bathroom, door stops so doors stayed open and a couple more cooking utensils eg. fish slice.

Did not interact with any staff key was in the room and ready for us when we arrived It could have done with a heater in the bathroom but we were able to plug in one of the bedroom heaters in the bathroom.
