We had a wonderful stay in Va-Hi. The apartment is lovely and comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Well appointed for a two people. Great location for walking to most everything you need. Stayed during the 2022 freeze and Nancy made sure we were warm and comfortable. Moved away from Atlanta after 40 years. This place was a great home base for us over the holidays to see family and friends.

This property is in a super cute neighborhood that is extremely convenient to a lot of things. There’s delicious restaurants, bars, coffee shops, a pharmacy, and a grocery store within walking distance. It’s also extremely convenient to several Atlanta attractions. The owner was very responsive to our messages and accommodating to our needs. The house was adorable and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable as well and the water is piping hot. We felt very safe in this area. 10/10 recommend this VRBO if you’re needing a place in the Atlanta area!

Location - Elegant Location
We were right on Highland Ave NE across from all of our favorite restaurants. My husband and I meet and lived there 30 years ago. The unit is just as elegant, and convenient as photoes show. We were able to park on a driveway right in front of the gate for our accommodation. There was a crazy cold snap ( we even saw snow flurries) Nancy the units manager sent a handyman to assure we were warm and all was well and later she dropped by with an additional warm comforter. We would gladly rebook this unit maybe even the large main house with a group of friends.

The apartment was very nicely appointed. It is in a great location-close to everything. I often took walks through the parks right out the front door. I was often alone and felt completely safe. Also great fenced backyard if you are bringing your pet. I would not hesitate to recommend.

When we stepped through the door and saw the beautifully updated apartment, we knew we were home for the next three days. Very clean and comfortable (the bed was sooo comfortable). And we loved the chandeliers and tasteful decorating. While the kitchen was small, I was able to cook half a Thanksgiving dinner to enjoy with our Atlanta kids! The place was spotless and Nancy took good care of us via e-communications. Perfect hub for a couple who wants to explore Atlanta. Thank you for a lovely stay, Nancy!

This place was just as advertised. It was very comfortable, nicely decorated and perfect location if you are wanting an in town experience. Several restaurants in walking distance, and easy drive to piedmont park and midtown. The surrounding neighborhoods have tree lined sidewalks, so perfect area for walking. I would definitely recommend this place for any trip to Atlanta.

This property is beautiful and quaint and is in the perfect location. Walking distance to tons of shops and restaurants but also tucked away off the busy street.

Great location and great property!
Our stay was fantastic. The apartment had everything we needed and was within walking distance of just about anything we could have wanted. But, it feels like a cozy getaway once you get inside.
Nancy was super quick to respond to questions. Our stay honestly couldn’t have been any better.

Greatest VRBO Host ever!
I wish I could adequately describe the service Nancy provides her renters. I stayed at this apartment for several months (escaping Northern Michigan winter) and had a great experience. The apartment is in a terrific location. The neighborhood is very walkable, and what's more, the people who live in the neighborhood walk, so there is always someone going to the nearby restaurants, the ACE hardware or drugstores. As a single woman, I'd rather see folks on the sidewalk than be walking on a lonely street. The apartment has everything you'd need (except a dishwasher, no problem for a short stay) and is perfect for dogs. There is a small, but nice, yard with comfortable furniture protected from the wind so that you can sit out there even in an Atlanta February and enjoy the sun. I had a few minor problems (some self inflicted, I admit --locked myself out once!) and Nancy responded immediately every time. Between her and her property manager Quinn, no problem was too small not to be attended to asap. She has other properties on VRBO that you should look into if you need more space.

Owner is great; responsive and real person. The old historic house is magnificent, and she has it well appointed. The window heater/AC units are a bit loud, and because it is a historic house this is all they can do.
I not only would, I hope I will, stay here agin.

Tiny Living Walkable to Everything
I thoroughly enjoyed my time during my stay at this property. It looks exactly like the pictures do. It's very comfy for a single person and good for two for a weekend trip, but I think for long term living it's best for a single person. The living room is fully stocked with TV and internet, the kitchen has an oven, fridge, microwave, and toaster, and there's a washer/dryer in the unit as well.
The neighborhood is fantastic and you cannot beat the walkability, you're a quick walk to the beltline, ponce city market, piedmont park, and all the shops and restaurants of the highlands. It's also extremely easy to get an uber in a few minutes if you're looking to go somewhere else in Atlanta as well. Although the property is directly across from a very busy bar, I never had a problem with noise from Highland avenue.
Parking is a bit difficult as you're sharing a driveway with the main house you're connected to and with two other apartments, so it can get a bit "first come, first serve sometimes". I was always able to get a spot behind the house, but sometimes found myself blocked in or parking awkwardly due to the number of cars. If you're staying in this property, only plan on having one car. The area was so walkable, however, I only had to worry about parking a few times as I usually didn't need my car to get around.
The property was well maintained and clean, as Nancy has a great cleaning crew that visits between rentals. I didn't use the outdoor area during my stay, but there's a nice patio setup with tables and chairs and a small yard to let a pet out in as well.
Nancy also did a great job of accommodating me and any issues I had. When I first arrived at the property, there was no key available. Although Nancy was not in town, she sent someone over to let me in right away. Also during my stay, the TV and internet completely broke after a bad lightning strike. Although Nancy was not in town, she did a great job of getting a new internet router installed right away, and getting a new TV dropped off at the house to minimize the impact of the outage.
If you're a single person looking for longer term living or a couple looking for a fun weekend spot in Atlanta, this property is a great place to be! Thank you Nancy for creating such a great place to stay in town and for being so accomodating!
