The cabin was located in a quiet, somewhat secluded area. It was comfortable. We enjoyed our short stay. Lots of squirrels in the trees overhead. Both nights we were awakened by coyotes howling sometime early morning. The second night they seemed to be quite close. It also sounded as if a barking dog was along the outside wall either using the cabin as protection from the coyotes or, perhaps, protecting us inside. Sasquatch was not detected but had adequate cover if in the area.

This was our second time staying at this cabin! We love the location! It's not far from a Dollar Store, liquor store, gas station, and restaurant. It's less then an hour away from Branson. We can't wait to go back!!

We were wanting a cabin secluded in the woods and this one definitely was. It's one big room. The shower had hot water and good water pressure. The mattress on both beds could be replaced. Not very comfortable. Furniture was rather dated but served its purpose. There were a lot of spider webs that could be swept away inside cabin and on porch. Driveway is decent however somewhat challenging when pulling a small cargo trailer because the turn in to the cabin is sharp and the driveway is steep, so be mindful of that. I do not recommend a low vehicle on this road. FYI: if a good heavy rain occurs, the bridge will wash out and flood over. Took us 3 hours until it was safe to pass over to get back to the cabin. If you are looking for a quiet backwoods country-like setting, this is the cabin for you. Host was very nice and quick to respond if we needed anything or had any questions.

This was for a last minute honeymoon and it was everything we were needing!! We spent most of the time outside with the beautiful view. It’s February, no leaves, can see pretty far! The cabin was so cute and came with pretty much everything we need but the food (duh) (had Walmart pick up ready to go in Harrison)! I loved the open layout and the kitchen stove! We cooked breakfast in the kitchen and had every meal other than on the grill!!! They provided firewood for $$ that we definitely used every day. I noticed some guest complained about the drive, that’s arkansas backroads for you. It’s not that bad, take it slow if you’re in anything other than a truck or SUV. This is REAL, BEAUTIFUL seclusion!
We literally have nothing to complain about. We will definitely be back!

Decent place if you're looking for somewhere rustic, secluded, and near the mid Buffalo River (about 15 min from Pruitt and 20 from Ozark). We stayed here with our two dogs for a couple of nights; it's ideal for one couple or family. However, if you do bring pets, don't go too far up the drive, because there is a huge pack of protective dogs that live right across the way on 2900. Also, be aware that there is a septic tank in terms of the plumbing situation. Anyway, it's a cute little place. We enjoyed a rainstorm on the porch underneath the tin roof, made some great meals on the charcoal grill, and watched movies late at night on the couch.

Quiet, off the beaten path, and relatively close to the river. Will hopefully return in the future!

Exactly what we were looking for in a cabin. Off the beaten path, down a dirt road with minimal traffic or neighbors. Can't wait to stay there again!

My mom and I stayed here for a few days to visit the Buffalo National River and do some hiking. We loved our stay at the cabin and the amenities were just right for a cabin in the woods experience. The dirt road up to the cabin was very steep and would be difficult in wet conditions. The dirt road continues past the cabin straight into the Buffalo National River Park boundary, which is a great bonus! However, you do cross a low water bridge that was flowing over the concrete when we passed. It made us hesitate, but luckily the water wasn't too high. Just be aware of how your vehicle handles steep dirt roads and curves.

The location of the cabin is problematic. They didn't say that we would be going off of blacktop, nor that a 4 wheel drive might be needed in wet and freezing weather. There is an abandoned trailer sitting directly across the street. Barking hunting dogs kept us awake for two of the nights of our stay. Advertised walking trails were not apparent. The cabin was clean and quaint. There was no soap or shampoo provided during our stay. The couch was comfortable, but most of the other sitting furniture looked and felt rickety, so we did not use them. The bed sinks in, in the middle, so our backs hurt the entire time. The gas heater is very efficient at keeping you warm, but no matter what you set the temperature on, you were either hot or cold. Be aware that this is an open room with only the bathroom being enclosed separately.

This is a one room cabin with a bathroom. The pictures and description of the property don’t mention this and I think it’s something that you should be up front about. We had no idea until we opened the door that the beds, couch, dinette and kitchen area were all in the same room. The setting was beautiful, but again quite a bit further out in the country than indicated by the blue dot on the map in the posting. We have used VRBO for years and spend a lot of time looking through listings to find one that will meet our needs. This is the first time I arrived and was disappointed. And felt liked I’d been deceived. But what are you going to do at that point. Owner was very nice and helpful to get the heater going again when the pilot light went out.
