Lovely apartment with everything we could need. Easily walkable to shopping, subway, restaurants, ect.

Unfortunately because of the location it is very nosy at night. A lot of loud socializing going on at bars/restaurants on the street until early morning.

Very nice, tastefully decorated apartment. Spotlessly clean. Very nice host, waited for me when I was delayed.

Location. Bed was comfy. AC was working well. Apartment was clean and spacious.

G/F unit tends to be noisy at night. Hope they consider to sound proof the windows. Thicker mattress for the sofa bed too.

Perfect location, very close to several subway stations. We stayed with our 2-year-old son and it was very convenient! They set up a pack-and-play for him, there was laundry on site. The place was beautifully decorated. Very comfortable.

Some people complain about the noise on the street at night. We brought our white-noise machine that our son uses every night at home and it was perfect!

Firstly is the ever attentive and accommodating hosts that I've had the pleasure to meet throughout my 7 day stay. They are friendly and always ready to make my stay a pleasant one. As a business traveller, it was important for me to have at least a strong wifi connection and laundry service at least. I have everything here, although laundry is self service which works for me since the detergent is provided and there's dryers too! The room is spacious with all basic necessities available to you. I was welcomed with a breakfast pack with a nice touch of a bottle of wine! It's literally in central Madrid and expect the hustle and bustle of life every time of the day but it didn't bother me at all. There's shops, cafes, great restaurants and pubs nearby. The place is clean although don't expect room service since it's not a hotel. The bed is comfy and the wardrobe was huge! Definitely my stay whenever I'm in Madrid.

Nothing much really. Perhaps for those picky travellers, the environment is not quiet so if you're a light sleeper, it may not be the best choice but ear plugs are provided by the bedside table. English tv channels are limited but I had Netflix so no big deal.

Excellent location within a short walk to Mayor Plaza square and many restaurants and shopping streets. walking distance to most attractions. Very clean and nicely furnished apartment with modern decor. Good sized apartment. Hostess Maria was very helpful and available when needed.

The Air Conditioning was not working in the apartment and had to sleep one night without AC which was unbearable in the June heat of Madrid. There was no fan in the apartment. Since it was a weekend it couldn’t be fixed but the hosts managed to switch our apartments although after 2 days. The wifi was not working on the day we checked in. There was a slow water leakage from one of the ceilings near the bathroom. They charge 20 Euros if you arrive before the checkin time of 3 pm and want to leave your luggage at the apartment.

This is a wonderful upscale apartment located in the perfect La Latina location just around the corner from the tapas restaurants of Cava Baja and 2 minutes from Plaza Mayor and easy walking distance to everything in the heart of Madrid. High tech touch pad entry, central air, elevator, full kitchen, laundry facilities onsite, spacious and immaculate. It was a pleasure to stay here!

Apartamentos Cava Baja has 6 fairly similar apartments and we chose #106 because of it's corner location and extra windows. However it does front on the busier street and those sensitive to noise might prefer units 101,102,103 & 104 which front on the quieter Calle Grafal. Regardless, if I come back to Madrid I'm staying at Apartamentos Cava Baja!
