Messy Townhouse
Me and my daughter got locked out, when we came on Monday afternoon. As there is a lock on the inside of the front door and I couldn't get in with the key. The shower was broken. The state of the whole was disgusting and I don't understand how you're supposed to clean things with dirty sponges.

Correspondence concerning check in details was not done properly(they tried calling me from a landline during working hours and i was at work i did not see the missed call until later on). Because i was unavailabe at the time they tried calling they assumed i was not going to check hence the pin number and key i coud not accesss. The heating in the room was switched off it was very cold. The toilet ran out of toilet on day 2 of my stay. The shared bathroom was such a mess.

Disappointing
The house was kept exceptionally clean internally in the public areas , (but they were not responsible for the problems we have recounted below), by the employees of the cleaning agency used. They were both excellent. There are a number of shops a short walk away and a park (the decider for us between 2 houses, for dogwalking). There is also a Tesco a short drive away.
The shower we were supposed to use did not work at all. The toilet seat was completely snapped off. The integrated sink plug had been pulled out. The room was very small with only a 3/4 beThe grill pan for the cooker in the kitchen had so much baked on grease it set the smoke alarm off and we had to scrape it off before use. The oven was too bad and needed too much time. The kitchen bin was so crammed full of rubbish it took both of us to empty it. There was a downstairs shower room next to the kitchen we were told we could use, the water would not run warm, we were told by a resident things had been the way we found them since she moved in. The lock did not work and we had to buy cleaning materials. When the shower tray would not drain I went outside to find a blocked open drain flooding the yard. he house is managed by an agency, we tried all day on Sunday but could not get out of hours staff AT ALL. We phoned the office on Monday to relate the problems but there was only a man who said he was a receptionist. We booked this place because it came up on our search for "Pet Friendly" accommodation which was clearly stated and also in the accommodation rules PETS ALLOWED NO CHARGE. Another house, 130 West Street was advertised the same. There were a number of "Townhouses" which were very clearly no pets allowed. We booked in good faith as always with booking.com but only received a rude note saying that pets were not allowed and telling us to clean the room and leave imediately, I wasnt using my phone so didnt get that message until I got home but they had 2 numbers so not even the decency of a call. I have a copy of the original pages for both houses luckily as they had quickly removed the PETS WELCOME. There was also another dog there for 2 days. There was no contact from anyone at the Agency other than an offer of a discount if we wanted to stay again !!!!!! Booking.
