The hotel and staff are amazing and helpful

The elevator is a little too small for anyone bigger than 6 foot

The Grey has a great location at the edge of the historical district of Naples. Our room was very modern and clean, and the bed was the most comfortable one we had during our 10-day trip to Italy. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They kept our mini fridge in the room well-stocked with water and other beverages during our stay. Although our room fronted on Corso Umberto I—a pretty busy two-way street—it was still miraculously quiet through the night. Breakfast was available every morning between 8-10:30 and included fresh fruit, pastries, meats and cheeses, juice, and made to order eggs.

Absolutely amazing hotel, go as far as probably one of the best I’ve ever stayed in! The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I was travelling as a woman on my own and felt very comfortable. The room had everything you could need and very clean and modern. I’ll definitely stay again xx

6 rooms located in an office building, no lobby or place to sit outside the room. Minimalist breakfast

This was a very interesting hotel. The room was extremely comfortable, modern and well equipped with everything you'd need (except for coffee!). The bathroom was great and - interestingly - the bath was in the bedroom! Apparently this hotel has only seven rooms and it is accessed (on the third floor) via one of those old cage-like elevators that runs up the stairwell! Very quaint indeed. The location is on a busy road, but the soundproofing was excellent. There was a cute balcony overlooking the hustle and bustle. Only had one breakfast but it was very good!

Probably just the elevator and the lack of coffee (there was tea...) in the room. Of course, due to size, there was no bar or restaurant facilities.

The hotel is on the third floor of a large C19 building. It’s a grand old building but, like Naples itself is a little faded. The Grey itself is a modern and pristine guest house. The staff are obliging and the breakfast is continental .. with eggs

My stay at The Grey was incredible, the owners of the hotel were very accommodating and friendly. I had a very late check in on the day and they ensured somebody was there upon arrival. Our check out was also very early in the morning and they had arranged an airport transfer to make life easier. The room was cleaned everyday and it was immaculate, the bed was very comfy and when the balcony door was shut you could hardly hear any of he hustle and bustle from the busy street below. The location of the hotel was about 20 minutes walk from all the tourist attractions but the street are filled with lots to do and see on the walk. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, you will have a guaranteed great stay.

It was quiet

No seating in the bedroom. Breakfast was only average. It was ok but definitely overpriced!

The team at the grey, were welcoming from start to beginning, they greeted me at the taxi and helped me upstairs. Instantly felt very comfortable and at home. Very clean and modern rooms.

Location and cleanliness were probably the main plusses.

Room was small, with very restricted views. Tiny wardrobe. Sightseeing advice given by staff was very inaccurate. Access to the hotel (on third floor of building) was a little complicated. No staff on duty after 6/7pm.

Nothing - the glazing stopped most noise on a really busy street.

Spotlessly clean. Staff really friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was nicely presented and fresh each morning. Would definitely recommend to friends. Location albeit incredibly busy and noisy worked for us as close to Metro and walking distance to Ferry as well as tourist sites.

A mirror over the ‘console’ table and somewhere to hang your towels to dry would be good. No view from room but quiet for such a busy street. As a few others have mentioned it doesn’t look so good from the street but don’t be put off as interior really clean and modern.

It’s on a main road and Naples is busy so it was a bit noisy. Also there is no staff in the evenings so one has to go in and out with a key. No doorman or night Porter.
