Cindy’s property was beautiful and the river was amazing. Incredible views and convenient to all the mountains for snowboarding. The house was even better than the listing shows! All in all the perfect little spot to spend a long weekend!

The cabin was good. We enjoyed the deck the most. Also enjoyed the fireplace. There was no working hair dryer and the owner is not local, so it was not replaced. Also had issues getting the TV to stream. With the help of the daughter in law (who was awesome), we got the DVD player to work, but never could get the TV to work. Everything else was good.

our time at this home was amazing !! The house was perfect with an awesome deck looking onto the river !! Did some touring around to places where i grew up was very nostalgic. We spent the better part of our time outside on the deck being near the river with its soothing sounds. Would recommend taking alot of water as the house water is very hard and bad odor for showering and drinking. All in all was a fantastic vacation !!! Highly recommend this house as a great place to take in the surrounding outdoors !!

The location was very private. The river was literally right at the edge of the deck! Firewood provided was really nice! Cindy was incredibly friendly and had lots of suggestions for things to do in the area. Big falls just a few miles down the road and that as a beautiful site and nice hike!

This place was just what we need to get away from big-city living for a week.

We felt at home as soon as we walked in. It was filled with old items and felt like Grammas home. Everything was clean and inviting. Our favorite thing was hearing the water run by. It was heaven. The owner was absolutely wonderful to deal with. Answered every question in a very timely manner. Even offered us extra hours at the end of our stay. We would highly recommend and will be back.

This home is absolutely perfect for a get-away. The babbling brook is just outside and it was very peaceful hearing it. The house was wonderful, had everything you may need, and the living room view was just gorgeous. We loved our time staying here. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the 2 nights we spent at Cindy’s house. Great and communication about the whole process. Very peaceful place with nice outdoor. Indoor is charming with lots of board games to enjoy. I’d definitely recommend this place!

Cindy is a great host. The house is cozy and just nice for a family of four. Very well equipped. Great to be able to use the fireplace. The kitchen is fully stocked with all you might need in utensils, pots and pans and some spices. Wonderful deck where you get great views of the river. And the morning view from the living room out to the mountains is beautiful. Highly recommended for a family of four.

The property manager Cindy Estrada is a wonderful host. She was very attentive to our checking in process. She is very polite and cordial. The cabin location is a perfect romantic spot by the river and the wilderness. We will return to this paradise in the future.

The cabin was perfect for our family of four: stocked with wood, books, games and movies. The kitchen offers condiments and spices and was fully outfitted. Cindy was easily reachable with questions; very responsive. Less than an hour to Okemo and Snow, two ski spots on the Epic Pass. Many other ski spots around as well. Jamaica is very small and rural but lovely. It has a wonderful general store, and there are a few outdoor outfitters nearby as well. One word of advice: the water has lots of iron in it, so purchase your own drinking water and expect a bath to look yellow/brown.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin. Great location along a river bend, with a large deck. Hiking trials nearby at Jamaica State Park and Townshend Dam.

Like many reviews before I will confirm that the pictures do not do this place justice. Quick response to my check in question and everything you may need if you plan on staying in and cooking. The fire place was a very nice touch and the the views were amazing. If your a tall or big person the master bed will be a little tight for you and the partner but everything else was perfect. So glad I stayed!

Perfect place for a couple looking to just get away from the city and kick back on the deck and enjoy the stream coming down the mountain. Stratton close, but yet you are still in solitude here. Perfect for fall foliage getaway

This was a cozy older house filled with amazing history that overlooked a babbling brook. The road to get to her house was beautiful with all the different colored leaves. Sitting on the deck in the morning drinking coffee while listening to the water and enjoying the scenery was magical. It was quiet, but yet not too far from other houses or the main part of town. Cindy was great at communicating and very friendly. My only complaint is even though you log into WIFI, we had no cell phone service at all(no texting no phone usage). Cindy has a land line in case you need her or have an emergency. This was by far my favorite vacation spot I've been to. I would love to stay here again. A+++

The best vacation I’ve ever had. The outside view was absolutely spectacular and the inside of the cottage was cute and elegant and much bigger than I thought. The place looks so much nicer than the pictures online. I recommend this place to everybody. I had the best time of my life here.

This property was in an excel location to visit southern and central Vermont. It is near many hiking trails. If you like movies this house has an excellent library!

Truly, this is a spectacular riverfront house. We'd wake up each morning and go pray / relax / meditate by the river. It's so tranquil. We had lots of fun walking up and down the rocks and collecting small stones to bring home. Kids would love it... adults too 😁 I really toiled if I should give this home five stars, but it was just below my standard for cleanliness. I think most people might give it five stars, but the drawers for the clothing were not clean and some of the dishes had to be washed before use. However, please don't let those critiques deter you as it is clearly a clean and we'll maintained house. This home has an ample, and I mean AMPLE DVD collection. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say there are over a thousand! The kitchen is very well stocked with pots pans dishes and even an air fryer. The bathroom is small, and carpeted, but we made do. The bedrooms are actually quite nice. Also even though it was July, it was very rainy and wet one night, and we used the fireplace, which was stocked with wood. We had some questions before and during the visit, and Cindy, the owner was ultra responsive and helpful. Overall, I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a tranquil experience in Vermont. It's close enough to Manchester and other communities that there is plenty to do, but just remote enough you feel like you have your own private piece of paradise.

I brought my 18 year old son and his best friend up for a long weekend get away. The house was great and the deck overlooking the river was amazing. Huge DVD collection for the guys to watch movies at night. I brought a bunch of games but really didn't need to as, you name the game, they had it there. We hiked, cooked meals, made s’mores over the fire pit and played football in the side yard. At night, my “city kids” were amazed by the number of starts and even saw several shooting stars! I will definitely be back!
