Absolute bliss! We all had a wonderful stay at A Point of View. The view’s AMAZING!! The house was accommodating for the seven on us. Really loved the downstairs area with the two bedrooms and retreat areas. There isn’t much to fault about this property. Only improvement would be be the second bedroom on the main floor - needs a bit of an updated to tie in with the other rooms. Apart from that I would highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed

Overall the property was great. My only feedback would be that the kitchen cupboards needed to be better cleaned and it would have been great to have more washing, cleaning and coffee supplies.

We are a family of 8 spanning 3 generations, travelling from Canada for my wife’s 40th birthday. We absolutely adored this home! It was perfect for all of us to have common spaces and private space. The kitchen was well equipped, the pool was great and all the extra space was well used. We loved the view and the deck the most. The hosts were great! They communicated well and helped with some transport issues we had.

The property is located very close to the centre of Airlie Beach with a beautiful view. We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was unfortunately not cleaned on our arrival and we couldn't use the property for a few hours. The company provided a bottle of bubbles as compensation. The pool is big enough to cool down on hot days. We stayed for one week and the water became very dirty/ concerning colour by the end of our stay. Not sure if someone came inbetween to check the water quality? The light in the shower and main bedroom downstairs didn't work and the power switch for the kitchen upstairs came off a few times. These little hiccups didn't bother us very much. Overall I really can recommend the property for a holiday in Airlie Beach. We all have had an amazing time.

The Point of View house is in a very convenient location, has a picturesque outlook and great outdoor area. Overall, we were very happy with the stay. Only blemish was the treatment we received from the management agency. I suggest the 'vetting' process should be completed on the initial booking, not the day before you arrive and full payment taken. If able, I would have cancelled the booking and went elsewhere - based purely on that experience. I found the 'dressing down' received before arriving, quite unprofessional e.g. informing me that if I met a 'nice lady' down the street I was not allowed to bring her back to the house....... Being a middle aged and happily married, was a little taken aback - but thanked her for the clarification and made a mental note to steer away from 'nice lady's'...Check other reviews..... The property was perfect for us and our sailing crew. Main Living, Kitchen, Laundry, bathroom & 2 bedrooms upstairs. Seperate Living, kitchenette, Bathroom & another 2 bedrooms downstairs.The property was well equipped with everything we needed and had a huge deck overlooking the marina & the closer whitsunday islands. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

I stayed here in May with 5 other ladies . The house has everything! Amazing views , spacious, clean and comfortable. Great location. 2 floors each with a kitchen, and a private pool . Would definitely book again as it really is a wonderful place.

The house was easy to find and was in an excellent location. The view was stunning and overlooked the harbour. Only a short distance to everything, however, being on a steep hill it is advisable to have a car, but not necessary. Would be perfect for a couple of families to share, with two separate living areas upstairs and downstairs. Rental company won't contact you until the day before, so don't panic it you don't hear from them.

We were in Airlie for a wedding and the opportunity to stay at A Point of View was snapped up. What a view. The location of the accommodation was also handy in terms of walk into town, to the boardwalk, cafes and Lagoon pools. Well equipped kitchen, more than you would ever need. The fan in the lower floor bedroom is a hazard. The fan was turned on once and was affixed so close to the wall it started to wobble and the blades hit the wall and we thought it was going to fall from the roof! The grouting in the small toilet upstairs is missing in some tiles and the shower upstairs is a little grubby and needs a good clean. Other than that, all good.

The house was easy to find and was in an excellent location. The view was stunning and overlooked the harbour. A Point of View house has lots of potential to be a great house. Unfortunately there were many things missed that didn’t reflect what was advertised. The property's images on the website are old or have been enhanced. There were far too many defects to mention but here is the general gist :- Downstairs full of dust (toilet roll covered in thick dust on top)- Outside near pool was covered in leaves which have accumulated over some time. - Pool ladder very wobbly & felt unsafe- Oven trays all greasy- Couldn’t utilise bbq as it was filthy- Mold in showers- Filthy venetian blinds- Window sills were disgustingly grimy, full of old insects & built up dirt. - Outdoor furniture cushions were filthy- Pool hadn’t been cleaned /vacuumed. Lots of debris at bottom of pool in corners. We ended up paying $25 each to swim in the Coral Bay Resort pool instead. - Lawn was overgrown - We had to wipe down all kitchen cupboards prior to first use as handles were dirty & greasy- Bathroom fittings ie toilet rolls were loose - Even though we didn’t need it, we folded & stored someone’s porta cot that was left all strewn in garage so we could park our car.- Exhaust fans & ceiling fans had clumps of dust hanging from them.If we were paying minimal rate would expect this level of accommodation but at the rate we were charged the house should have been spotless without us having to make it liveable first. Essentially we paid for the view & location only!Hope for other guests’ benefit these defects are rectified.
