I liked the setup of the cabins - 2 separate bedrooms with a little seating area. Although…no doors on the bedrooms which was strange.

We started to sleep in one room but kept seeing black specs on the sheets, so went to the other room. Nothing in there, but we were foolish and brought a pillow from the first room. My partner has bites on his shoulder that look like bed bug bites :(

Check-in was easy. Staff accommodating. There was a window a/c unit in the room, which was welcomed. Bonus of Trenton is there are several choices for dining, grocery shopping.

Cleanliness of room was not on par with what I would have expected. Spider webs, spiders crawling on walls. And not because of what the ownership did/didn't do - was greeted at the front door on a rainy right with a snake! OMG A little too close to nature on this trip for me! If you are looking for a hotel strictly for Acadia Natl Park purposes, there are a ton much close to Bar Harbor.

Clean and comfortable. Good value for the price. Management was helpful and friendly.

Acadia Gateway was almost perfect for our hiking trip to Acadia NP, great price, very accommodating staff, super clean, comfortable bed, convenient location, free coffee, donuts and a bag of ice every day! We will stay there again. We wanted comfortable inexpensive lodging because we spend most of the day hiking and dining. As the sign says, “SPEND A NIGHT, NOT A FORTUNE!”

Shower took a few attempts to regulate the temperature.

The room was very clean, and spacious. The lighting was great, and the location was central to all the places we were going. The price was a good deal, too.

The bathroom, especially the shower was VERY TINY. I mean, comically tiny. You could not sit straight without your knees hitting the sink, and at 5'5, I had to stay on my tiptoes to keep the unadjustable shower head from drowning me, because there was no room to move. Shaving was not an option.

Very friendly staff that are ready to make your stay comfortable. Cassy has great suggestions for things to do in the area. Great Location and affordable place to stay with easy access to Acadia National Park, Bar harbor and local markets and restaurants.

Breakfast offering could be more varied with a few healthy options or things to purchase.

Really, saved so much. Owners are super nice. Room was very clean. Bathroom was small, but plenty hot water. Coffee and donuts in office in morning. I will definitely be back.

The cottage we stayed in had two bed rooms and picnic tables located outside in mowed yard. Parking was located directly in front of cottage. natural view out back windows of cottage.

High pressure shower - great location and good value for the price.
