Location was easy to find, and very accessible getting in and out of main road.
Absolutely nothing. This motel was pretty close to perfect. My new "go to" place to stay in St Ignace!

It was clean good beds. i could park outside my door. it was Quiet and comfortable.
Well for the cost of the room there was no breakfast. they would probably have to charge more. so based on all the other hotels/motels there breakfast is not much better so it’s ok. I still like stopping there on my journey.

I was very impressed with how clean my room was. Also, the owners were friendly and helpful.

The rooms were recently refreshed inside and I like having parking near the door for my motorcycle. The owner also provided old towels for wiping down the bike without even being asked.
The exterior could use a refresh as the door had rust spots on it and wasn’t up to the standard of the interior.

Breakfast was not included. It was one of the cleanest motels we had stayed in for a long time. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and always willing to please. Manager was helpful and nice.
just 1 thing the shower was quite small. And that is such a small thing compared to the entire room which was so comfortable and clean.

Location and maids
Our room had a musty odor.it was clean, but smelled awful and flared my asthma. There was nothing in the vending machines. No access to the lake. It was just run down.

Very clean room...maid service did an awesome job. Close to ferry boats, a huge plus! All around a place i'd stay at again.

We stay at Wayside every time we go to St Ignace. Very clean motel. The cleanest motel I've every stayed in. Perfect location to downtown and the Ferries. We met the husband of the owners this time Very nice. Good reasonable place to stay. You won't be disappointed.

Staff was very friendly. The room was bright and very clean. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others
Didn't know who to call with bathroom issues before the office opened. Would be nice if there was a plunger in the room. Toilet eventually flushed.

You get what you pay for. It was perfect for a quick one night stay.
Beds were stiff and the bathroom was tiny.
