The cabin was in a great location. I’d recommend arriving before it gets dark. There are no outside lights in when we arrived and very dark so we had trouble finding the key.
Our kids had fun though there was lots of snow to play in, sleds out back and s’mores table! It was quiet and remote.

The location is few miles outside of Flagstaff in the Kachina Village community. We enjoyed our stay in this cute and cozy cabin with all the amenities. The host was friendly and made sure we were comfortable with out stay. We would love to return to this location and do not forget to write in the journal.

A wonderful location tucked into the tall pines. Hiking within walking distance. The home is well appropriated with kitchen equipment, bedding comfortable, very clean and bright. We enjoyed our stay.

Located conveniently near the 1-17 but far enough away to enjoy the beauty of the pines and surrounding nature. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. The deck/balcony was the perfect place to sit with some coffee and enjoy the view. Our family played games at the table outside while we sipped hot cocoa. The upstairs loft bedroom was what sold it for me. I really liked that you could still see the view of the trees from the windows, it was a very nice way to wake up. The host recommended a pumpkin patch nearby that had a fun scavenger hunt and places to take photos. We also trekked up to the Grand Canyon which was a first for us! Location is great for other places we would have loved to visit if time permitted. The backyard is next to the national forest with many hiking trails. The Little Elk Lodge was very cozy, warm and had all the comforts of home with non of the distractions. We stayed in early Oct (fall), but are also considering how nice it would be to come when there is snow.

We loved our stay here! The cabin was clean and very comfortable. We found a great hike off Buffalo St.
Communication with Eve and Joe was clear and concise. The cabin and area are very pet friendly. We will plan a winter trip to see the pines covered in snow!
This cabin is highly recommended!

Very kind hosts, great cabin in the woods/Kachina Village. Location all that is promised: stars, hiking, trees, forest, etc. Cabin was clean, but it is dated and no AC. You will want to open windows at night if visiting this summer. Owner said they will address the broken or missing screens. Makes for buggy/mosquito sleeping. Location great, and neighbors mostly quiet. Directly next door is a hoarder. The woman sits out in the backyard from early in the morning until late at night (after 10pm) smoking something, often yelling to another occupant in her home. She was harmless to us as adults, but something to be aware of if traveling with small children/grandchildren.

We really enjoyed a week away in Flagstaff. This cabin was perfect for five adults. We loved sitting on the deck with the fire pit, and the house was really clean. We felt comfortable and at home, and the price was great for the accommodations. Quiet neighborhood!

We rented this cabin for my daughters 20th Birthday! It was perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you need to make a home cooked meal! Propane for the grill and fire pit. We roasted marshmallows, played games and Karaoke! The best part of our stay was being able to sled right out the front door! My grown children and their friends had a blast! Communication was excellent with our host. Cabin was clean and cozy. We would definitely stay again! Thank you so much!

This was the perfect winter getaway. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and the property manager was very attentive throughout the stay. The cabin has a beautiful front porch where we could sit and watch our boys play in the snow and cook smores later in the evening. We brought our small dog and they had a little fenced in area which was perfect for her. We would definitely stay there again.

We visited just after a winter snow storm and it was perfect for playing in the snow. Our kids had a great time hiking out back and sledding right alongside the cabin. It was about a 15 min drive to the North Pole Experience

First off, I want to say the property was very beautiful the home was very clean and comforting. The bedding was extremely comfortable and the home supplied all the tools we needed to make some of our lunches. We enjoyed our stay tremendously! But the part of the trip that I appreciated the most was the host helping us with the booking issue that I made, even before we got to the cabin. The host made sure that we got to stay in the cabin on the dates that I booked for. They worked extremely hard with me and VRBO to do so. I was extremely pleased with the kindness and hard work that the host put in to get us to stay in the cabin on the dates that we were wanting to. I definitely recommend booking this cabin not just for the home but for the experience you get to have with the hosts as well!

Great place for a group to stay. Close to everything. Very clean and comfortable beds. The only suggestion I would make is to have a hairdryer. Eve was very quick to respond to any questions that we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Stay Here for Flagstaff
This is a convenient, comfortable house for any activity in or around Flagstaff. There's easy access to I-17 with Flagstaff just 10 minutes away yet hiking in the surrounding forest just behind the property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice Cabin with Plenty of Room!!
We enjoyed the property and the area. Guests need to be told that there is one flight of stairs to get into the property, one flight to get to the loft bedroom and one flight to get to the basement bedroom from the living area. The only entrance without stairs is through the garage to the basement bedroom but still a flight to get upstairs to the living area. There is a bedroom and bath with the living area with 2 double decker bunk beds.We had to buy trash bags as we couldn't find replacements and if anyone needs extra towels, they are in the laundry room. It would also be helpful if guests were given two sets of keys. One of the keys didn't work. The deck, grill, firepit, outdoor tables and chairs were great We enjoyed them so much!!

Peaceful setting
The neighborhood is quiet, there is no one in back of the house, the house was very clean and had everything we needed. The owner responded to emails very quickly, and clear instructions were provided. I would book this house again should we return to Flagstaff.

Family friendly stay in the woods
The house was very comfortable (I have a bad back) and had everything we needed. It was very dog friendly, which is unusual, including a fenced yard and poop bags. It backs the forest and is a short walk to forest trails, which was great for us. We will definitely rent from Eve and Joe again.
