This is a perfect location - 2 blocks from the beach and 2 blocks from Ted's Bakery. Private lanai was great for coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. We walked to the beach every evening to watch the surfers and the sunset. Accommodations are as described, neighborhood has a quiet island vibe, Pupukea and Haleiwa are fun to explore. Highly recommend this great property!

Comfortable and good location!

Great location, walk to 'local' beach and short drive to everywhere else. Neighbors were great, place was clean and comfortable. Many electrical issues though...no lights in living room, no lights in kitchen or outside, some light switches didn't work, but a/c and fan in bedroom area worked great.

The outlet in the bathroom didn’t work, making it hard to blow dry and style my hair. Property manager offered a small mirror to be used by another outlet in the apartment. Lighting issues were also apparent because not all light switches worked.

This place location is perfect, neighborhood was very quite. Beach sunset were incredible!!!! Love the beach , was not crowded, almost like having your own private beach and about two minutes walk to get there. Across from Ted’s bakery, close to Haleiwa, not far from Waimea falls. Loved the location!!!!!!!!!

This was a back unit.. very small & VERY dark.... with a musty dank smell. I was so disappointed especially when I saw the upstairs unit which is gorgeous perfect & wonderful. That's the one I wished I had and I was disappointed. This is why I think people must read reviews ... I only saw a negative review right before my departure and realized that I probably wasn't going to be very happy. The owner was out of town and unreachable. II had to call his maid several times... she was very sweet. I couldn't initially get into the old lock box to get the keys out for 45 minutes.. And there were no directions for the TV, Netflix, cable etc. ., and I could not get it to work. I had to use the restroom upstairs because I couldn't get into the unit downstairs. I wish I had known about that unit because I booked a long time ago and I would have booked that one!! It was only a few dollars more per night... It was so disappointing to me. LIVE AND LEARN!! It's Hawaii!!

Great place to stay and so close to the beach

All information needed provided in a timely manner. Host great. Accessible. Everything made stay easy and very enjoyable. Hate that we have to leave. Thanks Mike!

We booked this unit for three nights, but we left after two, at considerable expense. The first thing we noticed upon entering was the smell. It was musty—it smelled moldy and damp. We were attending a wedding the next day, and we hesitated leaving our wedding clothes inside lest they pick up the smell. Running the air conditioner and opening all the windows helped a little, but we still we woke up with raspy throats. (And we tested ourselves and are negative for Covid). If we turned off the AC and went out for a few hours, the musty odor returned. The next issue is that the place is very dark. The windows are very small. If you look at the indoor photos of the unit, all the lights are on. You shouldn’t need the lights on in the daytime. The owner knew one of the lights had burned out and had not fixed it. When we cooked a meal, we realized there was no table inside. The outside table and chairs were damp if it had rained recently, and they were next to the parked cars. Not very romantic! You couldn't have your meal inside without balancing your plate on your knees. We asked the owner to refund us for the last night, but he declined. We left anyway. It appeared to be a converted garage. It was not a pleasant place to be. We would never recommend it to anyone.

Great house and location. Sunset beach is 1/4 mile walk which was great for the surf competition (we didn't plan the vacation for the surf competition but loved that it was there and was able to walk and watch). Public beach access is even closer. The house was a perfect fit for our getaway. Adequate cookware to prepare meals. The neighborhood was very quiet at night.

Great little place just a stones throw from the beach. Clean, easy check in and out process. Even has available washer and dryer. If you don’t need a big space, this is a really nice spot for North Shore beach access! Would definitely stay here again.

My sister and family rented a property on the beach and this was a block away. I was helping with her 1 year old and this was a life saver. No stairs and minimal items to get into. Easy access to beach. This was exactly as advertised. Would stay again.

If you want a laid back area away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki- this place is where to be-quiet, beach is 5 min walk and not crowded., lots of surfers. Gated parking in front of the unit, which is a plus. Teds Bakery is a 5 min walk, Haleiwa is not to far with great restaurants. Had a malfunction with the AC, but Mike got right back to us on that.

Great time to get away from the hustle and bustle! Close to a lot of amazing gems the North Sore has to offer. Property & booking was great & Mike was awesome.

This is a perfect place to stay if you want to be away from the crowds at Honolulu/Waikiki.
