Calme, bien situé sur North Haven. L'île est un endroit idéal pour faire du vélo relaxant sur la plage. Le casino de la ville offre des cours de natation et de voile aux jeunes enfants. Le centre Watermans propose également un programme de camps pour les enfants pendant les mois d'été. Pendant les mois d'hiver il y a le patinage sur glace, le glissement, le ski de fond. L'endroit idéal pour un voyage en famille ou une escapade romantique. Cette maison est une maison individuelle de deux étages chambre avec un loft. Un grand porche parfait pour les repas et le divertissement. La cuisine est équipée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un séjour court ou long. Océan à distance de marche (Mullen's Head), 4 kayaks et 4 vélos fournis. Beaucoup d'herbe et un coin salon dans le front, le côté et la cour arrière. Il y a une promenade en bateau à travers le traversée pour une somme modique à notre île voisine Vinalhaven qui est une île plus grande avec des quarrys de granit pour la baignade, cinq restaurants, des banques et des activités multiples en toutes saisons. North Haven et Vinalhaven sont de belles îles avec beaucoup d'histoire. Il y a une voiture du côté de Vinalhaven à louer à la journée pour les locataires qui louent la maison. Il est à environ 10 miles de North Haven par le biais du centre-ville de Vinalhaven.

I was working on the island for a week, and this was perfect for our needs

We were so impressed with the space, cleanliness and how well stocked the place was with towels, toilet paper and cleaning essentials. There is a small market on the island that had all the basics we needed. Pricey but worth the convenience. The home has kayaks but wasn't sure how to transport them and to where but we tan out of time as we were there attending a wedding with lots of friends and family. Great find. Would definitely rent again!

Excellent property – completely as advertised. Bright, clean, with excellent amenities, including great kitchen, kayaks, and bikes. Responsive host. Location is perfect for accessing the Mullen’s Head Park, beach and trails. Five stars all around.

Karen ‘s home is modern, cozy, comfortable, well stocked in the kitchen, has thick bathroom towels, internet access that worked, and clear instructions on how to check in, check out, get around. Plus, Karen made a point of introducing herself to us in town, and was super kind and helpful when we needed to call her.

The property is wonderful. It is so clean, cozy, very well appointed; conveniently located on this small island. Internet is spotty island-wide; we had it just sometimes. We would enjoy staying there again!

GREAT house!
First of all, the house was immaculate. Totally unexpected for a camp, and by far the cleanest house I’ve ever stayed at through a rental site.
Second, the owners have made a real effort to invest in things that maximize comfort. There were lots of towels, and really comfortable outdoor furniture, and lots of games, and gear for exploring the island.
We can’t wait to come back!

Lovely Island Home
Property is lovely. Immaculate, comfy with all you need for a lovely island visit. Air conditioning a huge plus, though we did not end up needing it during our stay. Host is great and very responsive to any questions we had.

Comfortable cottage in a quiet, peaceful setting. Gorgeous view of the starlit sky! Plenty of room inside and out to relax, plus a well-equipped kitchen for dining in. Bright and clean! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this cute cottage for anyone wanting a Maine island experience.

Awesome week!
We had a fantastic stay at this Property. We had everything we needed to enjoy the island. My children fell in love with Kayaking for the first time in their lives and spent lots of time reading books on bean bag chairs in the loft. We will be looking for this property again in the future!

Perfect!
This is a lovely, peaceful setting. The house itself is an upscale cabin-style with beautiful hardwood floors, pine board walls, stainless steel appliances and comfortable furniture. It has a large deck with cushioned seating on one side and table and chairs on the other, both with umbrellas. It is outfitted with everything you need for an outstanding vacation. Great time!

Great relaxing getaway
We loved our stay in North Haven. Karen’s property was a perfect home base for outings and a great place to end the day. Access to bikes, kayaks and transport to and on Vinalhaven was a game changer for us. We wondered if we’d enjoy being on the smaller island but the whole experience exceeded our expectations. We’d love to come back!

Loved Karen's home - the location was great and the home was cozy, comfortable, clean, well stocked. Karen was very helpful and extremely responsive with questions and provided a lot of information on what the island had to do and see. Our stay was too short and we look forward to coming back again.

NORTH HAVEN COTTAGE
We loved our three days on North Haven. The cabin was a great place to base for exploration and relaxation. The included kayaks and bikes were a great bonus. We launched the kayaks from the beach at Mullen's Head for some easy paddling.

Great getaway
House is spotless, updated, and cheerful. Feels even nicer than what the pictures capture when you are there in person. Very well supplied and Karen was great and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here if we come back to North Haven!

The house was a perfect location for a quiet getaway with my family. The house was spotless and had every amenity we could need! My family had a wonderful week biking and kayaking. Karen really helped us to plan our day trip to Vinalhaven.
