Nice place just steps from dog friendly Willard Beach. Brenda is a gracious host. Only a 10 minute drive from downtown Portland.

Brenda's apartment was the perfect beach getaway. The location is a 30 second walk to the beach. We had our dogs and until Oct 1 they had dog hours, but there is a lovely trail along the beach just on the next street which is direct shot to the lighthouse. The apartment is a small studio but it was just the two of us and our dogs. It had everything we needed from bedding, towels and kitchen utensils and gear. It was very clean! We also loved that we were able to compost and recycle. She also provided beach chairs and towels for convenience. The room had a small refrigerator with a freezer. It fit all our drinks and food for 5 days. I have stayed in a lot of rentals and this place has the best bed! It's medium/firm. There is also a separate air conditioning unit that helped during warm nights when we couldn't open the window. We had a wonderful time and appreciated everything including all the recommendations and suggestions in the binder and basket in the room.

Fantastic location steps from the beach. Great food nearby and a few minutes from downtown Portland. We plan on coming back.

We loved everything about this property. Brenda was a lovely host and quickly responded to any questions. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped. Steps from beautiful Willard Beach, we spent many hours there. We look forward to a return visit!

We just enjoyed a 4 night stay at this perfectly located studio, 150 feet from Willard Beach. We walked and hiked all around the area. Great place, friendly hostess.

This place is great for 2 people three would be a little crowded but doable . Yard very nice to Enjoy a bbq . Bring everything you need to cook condiment wise but need nothing to cook with . Ac was perfect as it was hotter than heck this week . We would go again . Bed was heaven and to me of a bed was so cozy :) slept like a baby

Very clean and great location. Just minutes from great restaurants and shopping in Portland along the water. We traveled with our dog and were just steps away from the dog friendly beach. It is a must if you enjoy dogs. It was the highlight of my trip. The host was very nice and had everything you would need. Highly recommend this place.

Perfect location! 2 houses from Willard beach where I was able to walk my dog off-leash. Close to good restaurants, Scratch Bakery, Portland Headlight, other off-leash beaches and walks, 20 minutes from Portland... cute, equipped studio that perfect for 1-2 people. Fenced yard also helped with late night or early morning dog outings. We loved it here!

Tastefully decorated studio steps from the beach. Morning sun urges you to get out and walk the very dog friendly beach. Perfect for a couple. Comfy bed and furnished kitchen. Our October stay was a great base for leaf peeping and exploring Portland. We weathered a nor'easter w 60 mph winds. Lost power when a nearby telephone pole tipped over. Owner proactively reached out to let us know how to drive out of neigh borhood after the storm.

We spent five days in Brenda's studio apt and it was perfect. The location can't be beat and we had awesome weather for late September. We were able to spend time on the beach picking up seashells and just enjoying the Maine coast. This is exactly how a visit to Maine should be for everyone! Brenda was a great host and responded immediately to any questions we had. Can't wait to go back!!!

The unit was lovely and very comfortable. The location could not have been better for our every day walks on Willard Beach, visits to Scratch Bakery, Flip, and beyond. Would return for another visit in the future! Thank you Brenda!

This is our 2nd stay at this property this summer. We really like the space and Brenda is friendly and a super reliable communicator. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and will likely book here again.

We loved our stay at Willard beach. The view from the apartment is wonderful!! Our 2 year old loved the nearby ocean front playground and scratch bakery and omi’s were both delightful neighborhood spots to eat breakfast!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely dog friendly studio apt in South Portland. We were so comfortable in Brenda's home. She was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and nothing was needed due to what she provided. Our doggie, Sydney, enjoyed the beach just yards away. She was able to run off leash in the mornings and evenings on the beach, play with many friendly dogs and swim in the bay. She had a blast as we did watching her frolic. We spent a few nights just relaxing on the little porch that is for Brenda's guests and listening to the sound of the waves and boats out on the bay. So peaceful! We used the location as a hub as we were able to quickly travel into downtown Portland for sightseeing and great dog friendly restaurants. We were able to visit other close towns such as Kennebunkport and Freeport easily from this great location. Beautiful lighthouses are within minutes including Portland Headlight, Bug Light and 2 Lights. We enjoyed lunch picnics at all these places with our pup as well as doing some hiking. C Salt Market provided great picnic sandwiches which is located near the lighthouses. If you are looking for a convenient, lovely location which is also dog friendly, don't hesitate to stay at Brenda's studio home. She helped make our vacation enjoyable and easy. We loved the location, steps from the beach, with both the waves audible and ocean visible from the front steps. It was no problem to take a morning stroll or evening walk on the beach, and when we were there for dog time, it added to the community feel of Willard Beach. The setup of the room was perfect for our needs, and thankfully air conditioned for a couple hot days while there. The neighborhood is very peaceful yet seemingly a lively community. There are a couple nice eateries within a short walk - Willard Scoops and Scratch Bakery - which we frequented most days. Cape Elizabeth is also a short drive away with the wonderful Ft. Williams Park, and of course Portland itself is just a short drive away as well. Lastly, Brenda was a wonderful hostess, offering a friendly chat and help if we needed it. However, her informative booklet in the room provided most of the information we needed for a successful stay. She was flexible with our checkout time as well, which was appreciated.
