De retour dans la journée, les habitants construisaient leur campement familial sur Folly Beach et savouraient la beauté de cette île barrière: la plage, les oiseaux et la brise. La pêche, la pêche au crabe, la crevette et l'huître étaient un mode de vie ... et l'est toujours. Ce style de vie merveilleux de la basse campagne est représenté dans l'art du chalet.
Garez votre voiture et sortez les tongs !! SunLove se trouve à 5 minutes à pied de la plage et à 5 minutes à pied de la rue Centre Street, qui regorge de restaurants, bars et boutiques. Tout est amusant - le River Park, la jetée de pêche, l’épicerie de Bert, le café et bien d’autres sont à quelques minutes à pied. Pourtant, SunLove est suffisamment éloigné de la foule pour profiter d’un peu de temps libre. Prenez un livre et une boisson et profitez de l'un des porches ou du patio arrière. Great location. Easy walk to beach and restaurants. The cottage is comfortable with plenty of seating both inside and on the screened in back porch. Bedrooms worked well for 4 adults and 2 kids.

An adorable and comfortable stay for my family and I! Great back yard and screened in porch made for relaxing and fun for both us and our pups! Jackie is incredibly friendly and helpful; if she came and went in her studio at all during our stay we never even knew. The house is right across the street from public beach access which made for a quick and lovely walk to the beach. Center Street and everything else Folly has to offer was only a short walk away including Bert’s for a quick grab of anything needed of some yummy beach snacks! Wished we never had to leave; Sun Love Cottage is everything Folly and we definitely recommend it and Jackie!

Wonderful for a Folly house to be dog friendly. House even has a small doggie door onto a screened porch that has a door to a very nice fenced yard. House is close, but not too close, to downtown and a short walk to beach. Beds were comfortable and there was lots of hot water for showers. The kitchen is very well equipped. We’re quite elderly and the narrow stairs gave us some good exercise but there are handholds to help. Bedrooms are all upstairs. We do plan to come again. Owner is very cooperative.

So many things came together to make our stay at Sun Love Cottage enjoyable for all of us, including the doggie member of our group. The back porch was a great place to visit and watch lovely Luna run in the screened back yard. The kitchen and dining area were great for our traditional breakfasts and seafood dinner and we loved being able to walk to all the delicious restaurants. Towels, the washer and dryer and outside hose and shower helped us enjoy the nearby beach and keep the sand at bay. Having 2 bathrooms and the bedrooms upstairs gave each of us privacy as needed. Comfort for all.

We had a great stay with our teens and our pups. Cute little cottage with a great screened porch and fenced in yard. An easy walk to the beach, and close to shops and restaurants. Would stay here again!

Sun love cottage
Everything went smoothly and location was good. Jackie gave us information that helped so much. If you want an easier walk to the beach go to the access from the roadway rather than the paths. House was well equipped.

We used the screened porches every day to enjoy our coffee in the morning and have drinks in the evening. We didn't cook because it was hot and because there were so many good restaurants within walking distance. The air conditioning was super cold and felt great after long hot days at the beach. The beds were comfy and the location was quiet. Can't wait to go back.

We loved our stay here! We walked everywhere and especially loved being able to bring our dogs on vacation with us. The fenced yard was great! We used the screened porches every day to enjoy our coffee in the morning and have drinks in the evening. We always love Folly and were sooo lucky to have found Jackie’s house this trip. The house is charming, the kitchen very well appointed and the beds were super comfy. Our favorite part was the large, shaded screen-in back porch with access to a roomy, well maintained fenced in backyard for our doodle Piper. The location is really close to Center Street and the River Park and with the new beach access directly across the street we on the beach in less than 5 minutes. We are already planning another trip in the fall to Jackie’s house. Best Folly Beach trip yet.

Jackie was the most gracious host. She is phenomenal!! The cottage was sunny and bright. We loved it’s charm. It had everything we needed in the kitchen: great pots and pans, gas stove and dishwasher. Three good sized bedrooms, which were used on a Rotating basis with our three college kids. Loved that it had washer/dryer as we stayed almost two weeks. The screened porch was lovely. The dogs loved the fenced yard but not as much as we did. The proximity to town was unbeatable and the quick cut through to the beach was amazing. Highly recommend!!! We’re coming back!

Jackie was the most gracious host. She is phenomenal!! The cottage was sunny and bright. We loved it’s charm. It had everything we needed in the kitchen: great pots and pans, gas stove and dishwasher. Three good sized bedrooms, which were used on a Rotating basis with our three college kids. Great little spot, close to everything!
We had a wonderful time at this cute little getaway. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. It’s so close to town and the beach. Right around the corner from our two favorites, Berts and Chico Feo. We’ll definitely be going back again! The owner is amazing!!!

Granddaughter's 1st Beach Trip
Spent the week of September 21-28 at the Folly Beach Sun Love Beach Cottage with 4 of our children and our 3 month old granddaughter. The cottage was clean, met our needs, well stocked with necessities, i.e., salt, pepper, etc. Short walk to the beach, and close to City Center. Highly recommend.

Cute house!!
This adorable Folly Beach house is in the perfect location. It’s close to EVERYTHING that you may want to get into during your time at Folly. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach, even less to walk to Bert’s, and it’s just 2 blocks to Center St. The house is comfortable and clean and serene.

Wonderful Beach Cottage
My husband and I stayed in this cottage for 7 nights. We had a wonderful time. Although it is 3 streets off the beach, it would be an easy walk. We rented a golf cart, which I highly recommend. We explored the island riding in comfort with a nice breeze. Very short walk to Center Street for restaurants and shopping.
The cottage would sleep 6. We used 2 different beds. Both were comfortable, though one is firmer than the other. We brought our 2 fur girls. They had a blast exploring the fenced in back yard and walking on the beach morning and evening. The cottage was clean. Plenty of linens, and the sheets were of nice quality. Ceiling fans in every room for hot days, and the AC was very efficient. We stayed nice and cool. Brand new grill that we used once. Has most small appliances - coffee maker, toaster, blender. Large pot if you want to get ambitious with low country boil.
We only had one vehicle, but there might be a problem parking if you have more than one car.
The owner texted us right before we arrived to let us know everything was ready and the lights were on and fans were going. Nice touch. Would definitely recommend this rental with no hesitation.

Perfect house for our family of 4. We had a great time. We were able to walk to the park, the beach, and to center st to eat and shop. Jackie was easy to communicate with understanding when we arrived a little early for check in

Perfect Folly Experience
This adorable cottage was perfect in every way. So close to Center Street, Bert’s Market and the beach, I didn't get in the car once! The house has everything you need to enjoy a care-free vacation. And the host is very sweet and responsive. Highly recommend!

A Second Home to Us
We have rented Jackie’s property for 4 years now. It is like a second home for us. The house is immaculate and she and staff are always responsive and welcoming. We love walking everywhere and the location is perfect. Our pups are happy in the back yard and on the screened in porch. There are plenty of linens and supplies to get you started. We plan the next year’s stay on the way home every year!

We have stayed at Sun Love Cottage for a week the past 5 Year’s . Great location, close to Center street and the beach. The owner Jackie is always accommodating and friendly. Bud was relieved 😅

Overall house was nice and in great location. Stairs were very steep. To demanding of things to be done before leaving. Emptying dishwasher and doing all the laundry a little excessive.

A Christmas Cottage
We stayed over Christmas. I bought decorations and a tree and the adorable cottage was transformed into a Christmas cottage! Plenty of room and the fenced in yard was great for our dog. We were met with fresh flowers and fudge. Definitely going to return.

We had such a pleasant stay at this sweet vintage cottage. First time in Folly Beach. Perfect location. The cottage is so comfy and we really felt at home. We had such a relaxing experience and the owner, Jackie, was so helpful and friendly. We are hoping to return next year.
