We wish we could have stayed longer. The Yosemite West location can’t be beat

Great location with in the park limits. Beautiful view from the deck. We enjoyed the collection of dvd’s to relax and watch a movie after a long day of hiking. William was very helpful with information about the Yosemite post office that we needed.

Convenient, comfortable, clean.

Bill was fantastic and welcoming during our stay. The place was just what we needed and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The wifi worked great and was enough to stream music and do research for our activities in the Park.

The property and Bill the owner were excellent. The cabin was as advertised. It was clean and well maintained. Bill was very helpful to us and even provided additional equipment and advice for our trip. Some recommended adds for the future would be a steamer cauldron and an upgraded grill. Even without these amenities, the stay was a great experience. I have already recommended this property to some of my friends and colleagues.

This property was exactly as advertised! We loved the close proximity to the Valley. It was clean, spacious & well-stocked. Bill was a fantastic host--full of helpful tips! We loved our stay here & hope to return soon! Thank you Bill!

Great stay inside the park in a great housing development. Place had everything we needed and was clean and organized. Gas range was a huge bonus and speedy Wi-Fi!! Definitely would stay again. Thanks Bill!

Really enjoyed this property. Clean, close to the Valley and space for teenagers to spread out. Having wifi was great as well. Would definitely recommend.

My wife & I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Yosemite. Close to the Valley, compared to staying outside of the park. It is very up to date, well stocked in the kitchen, bath, towels, etc. The owner greeted us upon arrival and was available if needed (we didn't need anything). He reached out about a month prior when I had emailed concerning some closures by NPS with flooding in the valley. His knowledge of the area assured me, the valley floor would be accessible during our stay. Very happy and would recommend this property for couples or families. Great selection of DVD's to catch up on movies we have missed over the years. Great place to disconnect from the world. Hope to return soon.

This is a well laid out house in the Yosemite West area. Upstairs is a large kitchen/dining/living area with one bedroom and a bath. Downstairs are two bedrooms and a bath. The kitchen is clean and well stocked (though bring a meat thermometer if you are planning on using the barbeque). The owner provided information beforehand so checkin and out was seamless. We would definitely return if visiting Yosemite again.

Enjoyed the house being inside the park. Host was great. House met basic needs as we spent most of our time in the park.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay at Bill's place during a wintry few days in early spring. When we arrived, we all went outside to have a snowball fight and then came in to watch the snow fall on the trees through the large windows in the living room/kitchen. We ended the evening by taking advantage of the huge selection of movies and enjoying one as a family. The next day, we drove 35-40 minutes to the heart of Yosemite Valley, which, of course, is spectacular. During our stay, we appreciated having room for our kids to sleep downstairs and space for parents to interact upstairs. We highly recommend this comfortable place for families looking for an alternative to camping.

Our group of 6 adults had a great time staying at this house! It was even closer to Yosemite than we thought; we didn't realize you actually go through the park entrance to reach the house! The house itself was perfect for our needs and the location really can't be beat. We would definitely recommend it and would absolutely stay hear again!

The house was centrally located between Wawona and the valley. It’s a beautiful home. Unfortunately, the sheets on two of the beds were dirty, along with the placemats. The blinds were covered with dust. We were charged a cleaning fee. The dirtiness along with instructions to clean the kitchen before departure made us wonder if the fee was actually used for cleaning.

Our group of 5 had a nice stay while visiting Yosemite. Great communication with Bill before and during trip. Convenient location. Something to consider, depending on the time of year, is the lack of air conditioning. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but it was a bit warm and needed fans on at night. Also, since guests are requested to do the dishes and put away before leaving, we found many dirty dishes/silverware in the cupboards from prior guests that didn’t do a good job. I’d recommend having cleaning staff check this out while cleaning unit. Since unit is far from grocery stores, make sure you buy everything you need before heading into park. As far as the park, it’s amazingly beautiful, but we all especially loved the Mirror Lake trail and having a drink/eating lunch at Ahwahnee Hotel. Thanks for a memorable trip.

We were happy to return to this lovely, comfortable home after a day of hiking. Owner made effort to meet us on arrival and tell us how to easily reach him. Great for 2 couples. Had everything we needed. Will be even better after knives are sharpened.

The property was excellent and close to Yosemite valley (20-30 minutes depending on where you go in the valley). Well equipped in the kitchen and throughout. Plenty of room for our family of 5 ages 17 and up. Bill was very helpful and responsive to questions.

I have rented in Yosemite for years now. Whenever we do we click the filter for air conditioning. This listing will come up that it has air conditioning. Instead the owner has selected that it does and then under the description says that it does not. We did not notice this until it was too late too get our money back. With fees it was about six hundred bucks a night to swelter in the July heat. My elderly parents got almost no sleep and neither did my wife or I. I have never been more mad about a VRBO listing in my life. Three days in the most amazing park ruined by having to come home to a sweat box. Doing a search right now will come up with come up that this property has AC and only if you dive into the notes will you see your being duped. Since we had discovered this days before we flew out we purchased box fans and if we had not had them we would have not slept at all. Their are simply better houses in Yosemite West to rent. I suggest renting elsewhere

Among the best locations imaginable inside Yosemite park had us at Tunnel view every day. Quiet residential community and accessible owner. Great jumping off spot for your Yosemite family vacation.

We could not be any happier with the property or the location. The owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The Wi-Fi has been updated and works very well. The property is very well stocked with everything you need including a rather impressive movie collection. If you are looking for a great place with plenty of room the this is it.

A very common and cozy home. Cleaned to my standards. Mild scuffs on doors and a single cobweb on porch to speak of. No Big deal!! Clean sheets, dusted rooms, clean kitchen and appliances. Clean bathroom and showers. Unit seems up to date on faucet's, toilets, and appliances in kitchen. Everything basically is supplied except groceries. It has a laundry unit with soap and dryer sheets; mops; brooms; towels; linens; all kinds of cleaning supplies. Kitchen has toaster; gas range oven and stove top; microwave; refrigerator and freezer with working ice cube maker; stainless steel sink with hose faucet, hand soap, sponge for washing dishes and soap for dishes. Kitchen has dishwasher with Cascade under the sink. Sink has a food disposal at drain. The last family even left an unopened box of pancakes. So we left an unopened package of maple syrup (enjoy!). There is also salt, pepper, oil, coffee with filters, liquid smoke, all pots pans plates cups and eating utensils including hand towels potholders and baking sheets. There is a small propane tank on the porch through the sliding glass door that includes all grilling utensils. There is one bedroom with a desk and a rolling nightstand upstairs. Also a bathroom with a standing shower upstairs. There's a TV with the DVD player, some books, and some CDs to listen to. The Wi-Fi password is by the TV along with the remote control. There is a large couch, a love chair, and a recliner. They are all incredibly comfortable! Next to the couch is stairway carpeted going downstairs to two extra bedrooms and another bathroom. There is a shared door with the owner marked "keep out" and locked. We listened to movies very loud and my father slammed doors quite often and Bill never made one single complaint about the noise level. He always responded to my messages here on VRBO very quickly and was always polite and clear to me his questions or answers. We didn't hear any sound from Bill that bothered us. There is some confusion that the very inviting forested area behind the house may be private property and not appropriate for hiking through. You'd have to ask him about that yourself, unfortunately we left before I got the answer. It's extremely quiet at night, there's barely any bugs, the view is spectacular both in the morning day and night. I would recommend this house and this person to share this duplex with. It was probably the best vacation any of us have had in a long time. Thank you Bill

We had a great stay. Loved the amount of rooms/space and the easy access to Yosemite valley. It was fun to watch older movies with our boys from the extensive dvd collection provided. That said if you need to keep in touch with work via email or text the internet is not reliable or strong enough. We luckily were able to park at the general store in Yosemite valley to get a few work emails/meetings completed. Beautiful location to completely unplug if that’s what your looking for.
