Great location and Villa layout. James was very friendly and helpful when arriving on the island!! Would stay again!

James was a great host. Unfortunately on the first night we had no water due to an plumbing issue…there was water working in other unit and we were able to use that since it was not rented that night. James got a plumber had it working by 8:30 the next morning. Beautiful views and was as advertised…some of furnishings were a bit ‘weathered’ but overall we had a fantastic time and would stay there again.

Great view, quiet neighborhood, clean with everything we needed for our vacation. James hit it on the mark. Can't wait to return.

Excellent place to stay in St. John

Our family really enjoyed our short stay at this property.

The property was clean and exactly as advertised. We had a great stay. We enjoyed grilling while watching the sunset. We would return to this property if we come back to the island. James was very knowledgeable and responsive.

The day of our arrival James messaged and offered to meet us at the ferry to lead us to the Villa. We found this helpful as he also went through where everything was and how to operate the air conditioning, etc. The very first night a portion of the island had a power outage, but James had a cabinet stocked with candles, flashlights and a couple of games so our family played Uno and just talked for 4 hours until power was restored. We experienced power outages twice more during our stay but for shorter periods of time while the power company made repairs to their power stations. The Villa has great air conditioning units in the main living room and bedrooms along with excellent beds and bedding so we slept great after long days snorkeling at the amazing St. John beaches. The sofa and loveseat were well worn and honestly quite uncomfortable. They need to be replaced but it wasn't a deal breaker since the beds more than made up for it. We prepared a couple of meals at home on the grill and ate on the covered deck while watching the sun set. We spent mornings sitting outside watching passing rain showers and drinking coffee while watching boats on the water. There were also beach chairs, towels and a cooler for us to use on our daily beach excursions, which we really appreciated and could not have done without. We had a fantastic time on St. John and hope to return for a stay at the Villa in the future.

Loved our accommodations and James was very helpful. The place is exactly what we needed. The view is amazing and the place is very comfortable and has absolutely everything you need (not fancy). The one and only comment I have (and my husband disagrees) is that it’s located right next to two treacherous bends in the road so you get occasional screeching and honking. That said, we’d come back, it’s in a convenient location, amazing view, super comfy and we really enjoyed our stay.

This was our first trip to the Virgin Islands, and it was for our honeymoon. James was amazing. He picked us up from the ferry and answered all our questions. We rented a car from him which made life a lot easier. The place was very clean and provided everything you need for the beaches (coolers, towels, beach chairs, sunscreen, bug spray) our stay was so great we plan on coming back and we will always stay at James. Beautiful apartment that felt private despite other VRBO guests! The place was spacious and clean, with every amenity you could think of! Perfect four, good for six if people don’t mind air mattresses! The pool and perfect were perfect for apres beach

This was an amazing property! This was the perfect setup for our group. There were 2 couples that stayed in the upstairs of the home. It was clean, beautiful and had everything we needed. The patio was spectacular and was the perfect setting for watching the sunset at night and looking out over the hills and ocean with our morning coffee. There were beach chairs, towels and everything we needed for our daily outings. I cannot say enough good things about the host and this property. Absolutely perfect!

We loved every minute here. The view was breathtaking overlooking the ocean and hills. The place is nestled back in true paradise with so much privacy and serenity. The private pool with the hot tub was the perfect place to hang out together. We couldn’t get enough of the porch, which is incredible for breakfast views and game night ambiance. We never wanted to leave. We couldn’t recommend this place more, and James was an excellent host who did everything to make our stay perfect.

If you like to sit out on the porch and relax, this house is the one! Well equipped and we LOVED that each bedroom had it's own private bathroom!

This beautiful property has everything you dreamed. Lots of amenities, perfect location, wonderful host. Better than pictures.

We stayed for only one night in between rentals , but was very nice! I would stay again for a bit longer.

Great location and house.

James’ top floor villa was more than spacious for a girls’ long weekend with a GREAT balcony patio overlooking St Thomas and awesome pool. A/C in all rooms was comfy. Perfect location with Jeep rental to beaches and hiking.

Perfect view from. The terrace balcony. Love watching the sun go down after and adventurous day. I brought my grown son, we enjoyed the car and also the location. So close to town. But just far enough away.

James is by far one of the best hosts I’ve encountered and I’m a frequent user of VRBO/Abnb. We were already in St. John and needed one extra night, last minute. I booked the unit the night before. We had to be out of our unit at 10:00 a.m. James met us in Cruz Bay (he was dropping guests at the ferry) and he had us checked in and ready to hit the beach by 11:00! We loved the property. It was clean, had everything you would need for a great vacation. We slept in the room with king bed. Comfy bed and the linens were very soft?. It turned out we were the only guests on property, so we enjoyed an evening swim and gazed at the stars and lights of St. Thomas. We had stayed in Cruz Bay thinking we would enjoy being within walking distance to restaurants. We are so grateful that we got to spend our last night on the island in such a peaceful place. It was very easy to get to from Cruz Bay. A couple of tips. Cool Breeze Jeep rentals were great! They did daily rentals and they are located directly across from the ferry terminal from Crown Bay. That is tip #2. If coming from the airport use that ferry!! It’s pretty much a shuttle to the airport. We were a $10 each taxi ride to the air pry which was about 5 minutes from the Crown Bay terminal. Last tip go to Starfish market. Great selection and prices seemed better than other places. Bottomline, things are expensive on the island. I recommend bringing some staples with you, coffee, peanut butter….. Go to Maho Bay to see turtles! This home would be the perfect base for your St. John adventure!

James was great with check in and meeting us at the ferry dock. Two bedroom was very spacious. Everything needed was there for a relaxing vacation. The view from the upper deck was amazing!

This place was perfect for me and my girlfriend! Very convenient and a few minutes ride to downtown Cruz Bay. James was amazing, very responsive, and met us to ensure we checked in okay. The balcony has great views and apperciate the beach towels, cooler, and pool onsite. I will definitely be back!!

Seamless and beautiful! Wish we got to stay longer given how affordable and beautiful it was. James made our stay very comfortable. Can’t wait to come back

This is a great villa and you won't be disappointed if you rent it. My kids (teenagers) and I spent a week here and it was just right. James was very accommodating to our Thursday-Thursday schedule, and also rented us a sturdy 4-wheel drive car at a discounted rate. We took a cab from the airport in St. Thomas to Red Hook, caught the ferry over and James picked us up at the dock. He filled us on some good things to do while taking us straight to the house, only 10 min from the dock. The house has a nice main living area, great AV set-up, a kitchen with everything we needed and a wonderful westward view of Cruz Bay. It was very convenient to the town, as well as to highway 104 which goes right up to the centerline road, so it was quick to get to anywhere on the island. Each bedroom had a bathroom and the four of us were very comfortable. AC was available but with the breeze we never needed it. Many of the other reviews of other properties I read mentioned chickens and donkeys making all sorts of noise early in the morning, but I never heard them here. The only sounds were the occasional dog in the distance or a horn from a truck rounding the nearby bend in the road. The pool and hot tub were terrific, and great to return to after a day at the beach. The house had beach towels, beach chairs, coolers and a basket full of information brochures and magazines. Wi-fi was fast and worked everywhere in the house and around the pool. We typically would start the day with a run down the back roads, checking out the great views, followed by a jump in the pool, and then enjoying a smoothie from the blender as we sat on the porch. We then would set off on the days adventure. Upon return, we would relax in the hot tub before cooking our dinner or going out and then come home to watch some of their supplied movies or on Dish TV. Definitely consider eating in occasionally. There is a market about 5 min away from the property, but be prepared for sticker shock on food items in St. John. Everything except chicken and plantains is 2-3 times what you are probably used to paying, but it's still far cheaper than eating out. If I had to think of a negative on the property it would be that we did get some mosquitos occasionally in the house despite our best efforts, but that was only one 1-2 days when the wind was down. James was very responsive and took us back to the ferry right on time. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a relaxing week in St. John.

My partner and I, as we as my adult son and girlfriend stated at Rendezvous Villa at Christmas Time. This was my eighth trip to St. John. By far, this was the best villa we have stayed in. The villa was lovely and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook many meals at home. The deck overlooking the water was amazing. We enjoyed have dinner on the deck with lights twinkling and the stars shining over St. Thomas in the distance. There was more than ample room in the Villa for four adults. The outside area - the pool and lounge area with couches and bid screen tv - was beautiful. My son and his girlfriend practically lived out there. We rented a jeep from Jim and it couldn't have been easier. He met us at the dock in Cruz Bay and delivered us back there on our departure. Jim is awesome and a wonderful host. We can't wait to go back next year.
