I will start by saying the home was good - it was clean, had everything we needed to cook daily breakfast, and had plenty of space for our extended family’s needs. Please note that the pool and splash pad area are shared with 3 other homes. We overlooked this during booking so were surprised when we got there but it wasn’t a huge deal. Now for their manipulative business practices… - We were asked if we wanted to pay a fee to have the pool heated and you have to pay the fee for the entire time you are there if you choose to do it. We did. Don’t mind that except that we learned this is a shared pool. So are all 3 houses paying this fee to have the pool heated? Or does 1 family pay to have it heated for everyone else? Or is it always heated and it’s a way for them to get more money? It doesn’t add up and feels scammy. - After I booked this listing via Vrbo, the property manager reached out to me via email and let me know that my reservation created a 2 day gap for them, and because Anaheim requires a 3 day minimum stay this would create a dead space for them and be a loss to the owner. They asked if I wanted to shift my dates, add a night to my stay, or choose another property of theirs, to which I essentially responded no to all. They kept emailing me and I just stopped responding. Then they try to get you to pay a fee if your stay created a gap. FUNTIERLAND: THIS IS NOT THE CUSTOMER’S PROBLEM; IT’S IS A RISK YOU TAKE ON AS A BUSINESS OWNER.

Our family group of 12 siblings, in-laws, and kids found this to be an ideal spot for our Orange County vacation. First, we learned that we could pile into our rental vehicle and be to the Disneyland Resort parking garage, through security, and off the tram in about 20 minutes. Second, we could drive to the Laguna, Newport, or Huntington beaches in a little over 30 minutes. Third, for those flying, the Orange County Airport (SNA) was only about 20 minutes away. Additionally, the shared (with two adjacent Funtierland rentals) pool and private hot tub at the rental were a hit with all the kids (ages 12 to 16) and the adults. Finally, the bedroom/bathroom setup couldn't have been better for our situation, with a master suite both downstairs and upstairs and four other bedrooms and two additional bathrooms upstairs. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped and we found ample eating room around the two large tables in the dining/living area and at the six-person table outside. The place was clean, stocked with lots of towels for both inside and out, and everything was in working order. Communication with Funtierland was great and we had no problems letting ourselves in or accessing the amenities. Would definitely consider this place again for a stay in Southern California.

Loved the Disney theme thru out the home. Pool and hot tub were a hit with everone.

The property was very clean and super easy access to Disneyland. Very cute Disney decor in each room. Our family enjoyed our time there. The shared pool is awesome! And the private hot tub is a nice add on. Would definitely recommend this home. The neighborhood is also a good neighborhood too.

This past weekend we had our first family vacation with our kids and grandkids. The house was large and accommodated our large 15 person family. Couldn’t have asked for a location closer to the park. Only a 3 minute drive! Literally around the corner. They had everything a family with small children could need from high chairs to strollers. Property management was so easily accessible for any questions I had. Our family will definitely be back!

This place was awesome! Exactly as described in the listing. The property has a beautiful communal pool that is shared with 2 other homes. This property does have its own hot tub, not shared with other properties. The home is very kid friendly with hold gates for the stairs, strollers to be used by tenets, and a pack and play. The pots and pans could use some replacing but served us for what we needed them for. I ordered Walmart delivery and it was dropped off at least an hour before we arrived (we got stuck in LA traffic), without being touched. Neighborhood seemed safe and is a literal 5 minute drive to Disneyland, perfect for our littles to take a mid day nap at the home and head back for round 2 of the park. I would love to return to this property anytime we come to Disneyland!

The property was one of the only one available for such a large group. We were happy the accommodated us but it was not as wonderful as I had hoped for the price I paid. Mind you, I did not call and complain as there was not a lot that could be done. But I took pictures to validate the issues. It looks as if sprinklers were put in and patching had been done but then left. Every room had mud spots on the wall with no repainting having been completed. The upstairs extra couch that was supposed to accommodate 2 people was a run down mattress with multiple springs missing in the frame. Lots of these types of issues. We lived around it but what could I do, I had 17 people and no where else to go.

Kids loved pool and slide, temp of water a bit cool. We were large party and living room seating was lacking. BBQ has no burners. Close to most attractions. Sleeping accommodations great.

I enjoyed my time at the property. The entire family had a good time. The property manager was wonderful in addressing all of our concerns. I recommend this property for your vacation stay. It is close to Disneyland and close to local shopping and restaurants.

Rented this place for my daughters second birthday and it was great!. We were a party of 10 and did not feel crowded at all. The rooms were spacious and Disney themed. Great location very close to Disney. Quiet neighborhood except for the trains and sounds of motorcycles on the freeway. House had all the basics needed for a stay although it would have been nice to have more cups and utensils. The repeated (& I would say excessive) messages about the house rules were a bit off putting but I understand they want to keep people informed of house expectations. The carpet and floor were a bit dirty in some areas. More body towels and washcloths would be nice too. We didn’t have time to use the pool or outside amenities but they looked nice. 10am checkout is unfortunate. Overall a good place to stay and glad we picked it.

The house exceeded our expectations. Roomy, comfortable, nice kitchen, loved the pool. So close to Disneyland which was great after a long day there. Also, loved the Anaheim Packing House which had a great variety of food and relaxed family atmosphere. Would return!!!

Check in was super easy and our rental was very clean. For the most part we had all the kitchen supplies we needed (could have used a few more forks and spoons) . The downstairs was very spacious and was plenty of room for our family of 11 people to gather. Towels were plentiful for the baths and for the pool/hot tub. The hosts were very quick to respond to text messages and phone calls and the one minor issue we had was resolved very quickly. Overall it was a great stay. The only thing that was a little off putting was the quiet time rules. We understand the need for quiet after 10pm and before 7am or so and that was no problem, however extending it to 9am in the morning seemed a bit strict. A couple of the adults would have liked to be able to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or an early dip in the pool, but per the rules it appears that quiet conversation would not be allowed on the back patio until after 9am and the pool and hot tub are off limits until then.

The house was as advertised, fully stocked for all our needs. There was lots of space for all of us to eat together, hang our in the back yard and around the pool. Very close to Disneyland. We could even watch the nightly fireworks from the back yard of the house. It was a great place to stay.

It was a great place for a couple of nights for Disneyland parks. The kids enjoyed swimming in evening and loved all the themed bedrooms. Good water pressure, comfortable beds. Lots of pool towels could have used a few more bath towels. The kitchen was pretty well stocked, but lacking in knives. The shared pool with the neighboring house was cool and no one minded the night there were folks there. The house has a little wear and tear, the back table on patio is not comfortable and there isn’t a ton of comfortable seating in main area with just one couch that seats about 6, so if you need a place to lounge and relax it’s not ideal for long periods of time. But since we just swam and had dinner and slept it was great.

We were a group of 10 that rented from Saturday afternoon to Friday morning. Overall the house is amazing for big groups. Tons of kitchen and pantry space and nice closet by the stairs for empty suitcases. The beds are comfortable, lots of bathrooms which is amazing. The pool is amazing! It was perfect for every day after Disneyland and for our rest day! Couple things to be prepared for if you are renting or that the owner could/should change. There are not black out curtains or blinds in any of the bedrooms. During the summer months it is light out until super late and gets late early, and blinds/curtains to block light would have been extremely helpful!! The kitchen knifes are pretty dull and hard to use, they were no kitchen scissors (we got a pair and left them). The grill had no auto light feature or matches. We are very familiar with propane grill but could not get it to work. The Ariel & Lego room need a dresser or cubed book shelf to put clothes in, as there is no clothes storage in that room at all. The dresser in the frozen room, though it did match the theme, is fairly rickety, kids couldn’t use it easily at all. It would be nice to have a coffee table in the living room by the couch. Even though it it stated that there will only be one role of paper towels, I feel like more should be provided when you know a group of 10 will be staying for over a week. We did have to call for laundry detergent and pool service and they were very fast to come out and help. Overall, we would 100% rent one of these houses again.

The children enjoyed the pool and splash pad so much that one day they decided to stay and play instead of go off somewhere. Disneyland's parking structure was also closer than expected and extremely easy to get to, avoiding most city traffic. It is also easy to hop on the freeway to get anywhere. In case it helps, I will list some things I noticed that might help others determine whether or not this property is a good fit for their family: 1) The pool and splash pad are shared, and accessed through a gate from the back yard. The hot tub is not shared, and is in the back yard. We liked having the hot tub private and separate. 2) The kitchen is well stocked with cooking and eating hardware and utensils (except there were no small-sized eating spoons for some reason). There were also paper towels. But, there was no cooking spray or oil, foil, cling-wrap or things like that. There are a couple of stores not too far away (we liked Von's) and we were able to get items we needed easily, so it wasn't a big deal. 3) The house isn't too far away from a railroad track. Trains might blow their horns in the morning. 4) Again, access to Disneyland's parking was much closer and more convenient than expected. It made getting back for a quick nap or a meal very doable. 5) During our stay, the refrigerator lights were strobing, indicating ... something. And one of the two blenders didn't work. The house is well-used, so we weren't surprised that some things weren't in perfect working order. Management responded quickly when we contacted them, even though the lights didn't get fixed while we were there. (An attempt was made, though!) Minor nuisance, but we appreciated the attempt! 6) The master bathroom does not have locking doors. 7) The house has plenty of closet space, but does not hangers. (At least, not in the master closet or any of the closets I looked in.) 8) The bed in the master bedroom was not in very good condition. But I slept really well so it obviously wasn't uncomfortable. 9) The neighborhood seemed safe. 10) It is easy to forget to lock the side door from the garage or the back door, and there is no lock on the gate to backyard. 11) There is a tankless water heater, so the home was excellent for our large family. 12) The garage door was too low for our van to park in. Again, we found the home wonderful, and would gladly stay there again.
