Je viens de terminer en décembre 2018 une suite principale séparée avec terrasse privée et vue sur la montagne. Il dispose d'un lit queen-size, d'une cafetière, de la climatisation, d'une télévision et d'un micro-ondes (salle de bains dans le cottage principal).
La suite dispose d'un coin salon confortable sur le pont qui se transforme en un foyer la nuit.
Les autres options comprennent une douche extérieure, des hamacs, un barbecue et une cour privée clôturée.
Les deux unités combinées peuvent accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes, le chalet principal a
CA lit king, futon et petit loft avec lit queen (plafond bas dans lof). Certains clients préfèrent dormir sur le canapé situé sur la véranda, une autre option, tandis qu’il est facile de s’endormir à la belle étoile alors que les alizés soufflent.

This is a great place to stay. The view from the deck is spectacular and the bird songs add to the peacefulness of the surroundings.

This is a great place to stay. The cottages are on a hill above the owners house which is a little bit odd at first but the property feels separate and more like neighbors. You are very lucky if you get to stay here. The ocean view is spectacular and way better than pictures can show. There is thick jungle to your back and waking up to the sounds of the birds and the
jungle is an amazing start to the day. The outside shower was even amazing. My kids loved the spa. Staying here was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation.

The two cottages were a perfect place for us to unwind after our daily activities on Oahu. We spent most of our family time on the deck, having enough space for our 3 young adult children to spread out and enjoy themselves. The inside of each cottage will only provide you room for sleeping, food prep and showering, as they are small, but with the deck and view, there is no need for being inside while you are in Hawaii! We used the grill for a few meals, relaxed in the hot tub and watched TV on the deck, while enjoying a great vacation with our family of 5. Thank you Micah for a great place to stay on our vacation!

The location for us as to what we wanted to see and do was perfect, the accommodations not so.They really need to have a stove instead of a much used plug in two burner hotplate, a toaster oven that had rust on the inside and a plug in griddle that we had to clean. You needed to use one appliance at a time or it would trigger the circuit breaker, few outlets but many extension cords.The outside grill had leftover fish remains that we had to clean before using.The outside lanai was very accommodating with great views but if the weather were inclement there was no place to sit inside as we had to use the futon as a bed because the ladder to the loft was not secured and the loft was not habitable for an adult .We had the suite at the top of the property, it had no dresser or hooks to hang anything, no plumbing in the unit.The walk to the toilet area with a laundry tub as a sink had no lighting so needed a flashlight, the outside shower needed to be cleaned.There was no usable firepit as shown on the website, they had placed it under the deck with supporting beam on top.

This garden property was perfect for our family of four (two adults, two kids under 10). We loved the outdoor living and dining area, and hot tub. It was so hard to leave this peaceful, treetop oasis. Selfishly I hope this place doesn't become popular. I hope to visit again.

A great place to stay, especially if you need a base to see the tourist sites. Was prepared from the other reviews for a Pike’s Peak experience but the stairs aren’t that serious. Wasn’t adventurous to try the outdoor shower but the deck is AMAZING! Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed in the main cabin, our 13 year old daughter had the smaller cottage. We had a terrific week in Oahu and it was great to have this place as our home base in Hawaii Kai. My brother and his wife have also stayed here and they love it as well. It’s just what we were looking for, listing was spot on.

Really enjoyed this property, it’s a great value for the money and is in a very great location close to many beaches, hikes and shops.
The small kitchenette offers everything to cook up a small meal, complete with staple spices. A grill is available as well.
The view in the pictures does not do it justice, you need to experience it for yourself. And the neighborhood is safe and quiet.
There is even a washer/ dryer on the property if you need it. And the outdoor shower is wonderful, took multiple showers during my stay.
The hosts have done a great job in making sure all of the guests needs might be accounted for.
The only possible negative might be the climb up to the cottage from the drive way so if mobility is an issue would not recommended.
Definitely ended up feeling like a home away from home and would definitely stay here again if coming back to Hawaii.

This was a beautiful property in East Honolulu that was perfect for our family. The neighborhood is close to lots of locations/beaches/parks and hikes. We slept well on the beds, enjoyed the outdoor shower, relaxed in the hammock, enjoyed the hot tub, and appreciated the amazing views/climate in this location. The location is quiet, and we really appreciated being close to things but feeling away from it all. The kitchen has most things one needs, and the hosts provided many things helpful for the beach (chairs, boogie boards, towels), as well as just living (detergent, bug spray, etc). We would definitely stay here again!!

Property was beautiful, However wish I had known exactly what a climb it would be. Certainly not a place for elderly or people with mobility issues.

Beautiful location and beautiful home
The homes and location could not be any better. The homeowners were wonderful and very helpful. The home had everything we needed to have a joyful vacation. The only thing that you should know before booking is the home is on a steep mountain. Only reserve is the entire party can climb many stairs. Once you get to the top it is all worth it.

Great location and view!
The house was just what we needed. The location was perfect with access to restaurants and we loved the outdoor space , especially the view. It was relaxing to come to in the evenings and sit outside ( we were there to visit family so we were gone most of the day). It was well stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely like to stay again on our next trip.

A wonderful experience!
This clean, secluded property allowed our family to unwind after long days of hiking and swimming on Oahu. The well- equipped kitchen allowed us to cook breakfast each day (as with all tropical locations, store all food in the fridge to avoid ants!), the beds were super comfy, and our littlest loved the adventure of sleeping in the small loft. The outdoor bathroom was lovely and no one showered indoors all week. Wall unit air conditioners worked great when it got stuffy, and we turned them off and opened the windows on breezier days. We saw 20 species of birds just from the deck. The owners' dog ambled up for visits every couple of days, which we loved. The hot tub was wonderful for the whole family and we read lots of books on the chaise lounges! It's a climb up from the driveway but we made a game of it- the only caution would be that this is not the best fit for someone with mobility issues.

Hawaii Kai jungle paradise
The pictures of this property don’t do it justice. The deck was amazing and we spent all our time on it. From bbqing to reading in the hammock, to watching movies from the hot tub. It was magical. It felt like being in a really upscale treehouse. I would recommend this place highly, and great location to stay when hitting all the highlights on the island. We would definitely stay here again!

A Hawaiian sanctuary for relaxation
If you like to get away from resorts and crowds and get a feel for how it is to live in a gorgeous home in Hawaii then this is the place to stay. The house was very clean and well stocked with things in the kitchen, towels, beach chairs and more. The outdoor shower and ocean/mountain views from the deck were the highlights for me. The property is very peaceful and beautiful. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. Check in was super easy. It was hard to leave to do activities during the day because the space was so inviting. A short drive down the hill brings you to lots of good restaurants and stores. I highly recommend a stay!

Best Family Vacation Ever!
Don't get me wrong. Our family vacation was great for a lot of reasons. Hawaii is an experience that every family should have. Every day was jam-packed with exciting adventures. But the whole experience would have been lessened if we did not have an enjoyable place to stay. Fortunately, our stay here exceeded every expectation! The pictures do not do it justice. The view is incredible - a perfect backdrop and place to come home to for the week. My wife and I were able to stay in the separate guest bedroom and our kids enjoyed the main home. Beach amenities were provided. Soaking in the hot tub was a fantastic way to relax after a full day. Even the outdoor shower was an unusual but great touch. We truly felt like we were on vacation!
Out hosts gave us excellent directions leading up to the trip and were very accommodating. We could not have asked for a better experience. Mahalo!

Gorgeous view, quiet and peaceful retreat
The moment I relaxed in the hammock, I thought I’d never be able to leave! The patio was a dream — with a dream view.
Micah was a great communicator and check-in was a breeze. The apartment was lovely and comfortable — everything we wanted for a relaxing and romantic getaway.

Not sure where to begin! This place was GREAT! Surpassed all my expectations! So private and wonderful. I did some hiking--Diamond Head, Koko Head--and it was marvelous to come back and sit in the hot tub. The breezes up there are wonderful. I basically lived on the deck. That outdoor TV is a wonderful touch. I really appreciated my privacy while knowing that all I had to do was call if I needed anything or had any questions. And the views!!!!! I have been to Oahu numerous times, but I've never stayed in a place not really near a beach. God, I'm so glad I did!!!! This gave me a whole new perspective on this beautiful island. You guys truly live in paradise. It was terribly hard to leave. Mahalo ,mahalo, mahalo!

amazing view, peaceful setting
My husband and I stayed at this property during a brief househunting visit, and loved the amazing view from the deck and the peaceful location. The cottage was clean and comfortable. Parking is either up a steep and windy driveway that required backing down, or parking on the street below, and the cottage is up a somewhat steep stepstone path and a couple flights of stairs. The location is convenient to shopping (including Costco!). Mosquitoes were a problem but insect repellant was provided. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and recommend it for people who want to stay in Hawaii Kai.

Absolutely amazing
Beautiful property with amazing views...close to everything...we would definitely stay here again...the property was clean and had everything you need...outside shower was just the best bonus...this was not our first time to Hawaii so we could pretty much navigate without assistance but the owners let us know if we needed any ideas for entertainment they were available...owner always quick to respond to messages...loved going to local small restaurants...the drive up the coast was absolutely amazing on the way to Kualoa Ranch (dont miss going there it is cool especially if you love movies!!!) I can not praise this place enough...location...views...everything spectacular. Thanks so much.

Just what you need, but didn't think to look for.
This was an excellent place to stay. Located up on a neighborhood hillside a 1/2 hour from downtown, it's close enough to the city and remote enough allowing more privacy. It also gives you a head start up the coast. There's a great view of the ocean from your deck that has a table, hammock, lawn chairs, couch and flat screen TV plus a Jacuzzi. Adjacent you'll find a grill, fire pit and outdoor shower. There's even a washer and dryer. We can't thank Mike and Kendra enough! They're both so very kind, and they were extremely helpful with questions, suggestions and logistics. They recommended great places to eat and drink, where to find the best beaches, and arranged car rental and an absolutely unforgettable catamaran sunset cruise. They even provided a special nut cracker for the macadamia nuts growing just off the deck. This is an ideal location for anyone who desires easy access to all of the island with a touch of home. We definitely plan to return.

BEAUTIFUL!!
We had an absolute blast staying here at this cottage! It is nestled on a hill right behind the owners house but has an entry all its own so it did not feel like we were in his back yard. It was a well manicured NICE property with a BEAUTIFUL view, loved the hot tub and the grill was a nice plus. We only got to meet Mike once on our week stay; However, he was so nice and so very helpful as we communicated Via email due to his busy schedule (he and his family are busy with everyday work and life and not vacationing like us lol) but he answered all of our needs promptly and without hesitation! I HIGHLY recommend this cozy cottage to everyone!! THANK YOU MIKE, for printing out the luau tickets for us and for helping make our first trip to Oahu a memorable and fun one!!!

BEAUTIFUL COTTAGE STAY
We trully enjoyed the property and the view. The outdoor living area was fabulous. Our son wanted to take the outdoor shower home with us. The loft worked out OK but the stairs were a lot steeper than was explained. I would caution anyone with small children to use it. I would also caution anyonw elderly or large to use it also. This site would be perfect for a couple looking for a romantic getaway. The view is to die for. Just remember there are 40 steps from the top of the driveway to the door and more if you have to park on the street.

Paradise look no further!
Splendid cottage with fantastic amenities full of anything you might need! Traveling to Hawaii Kai, we were hoping to find a place that would let us go out and come back during the day to rest, eat, etc, and this cottage was everything we had hoped for and more. Everything is as pictured, and the hot tub and hammock on the deck were great additions for relaxing and enjoying the scenic views. We even made some steak kabobs on the grill one night. Having a washer and dryer at the cottage was also super convenient. Mike was quick to respond to any questions we had, and we would definitely stay here again! Thanks again Mike!

Pure Paradise!
We found this hidden gem when on Oahu to celebrate our daughter's graduation from University of Hawaii. It is tucked in the valley with a postcard perfect view of the ocean. The cottage is well equipped with anything you could need in the kitchen and the outdoor living space was exactly what we were looking for even though we didn't know it. The towels were fluffy and the bedding was good quality as were the furnishings and extra touches decorating the cottage. We made cedar plank salmon on the grill and sat around the fire pit roasting marshmallows as the sun set. Mike was available to answer questions and hook us up with coolers and Mochi stopped by in the evening for a little visit. This cottage is a true find.

Outstanding!! Simple Outstanding!!!
Made our first trip to Hawaii and simply by chance found this beautiful Cottage to stay in for our last 3 nights. In retrospect should have stayed our entire trip but now we know when we return. We can't say enough about this hidden gem. It has everything you need to have a great romantic Hawaiian vacation. It is very quiet and secluded. The view is unbeatable. Loved the hammock and the hot tub as well as the flat screen on the porch. The outdoor shower was nice too but don't worry there is another inside. We stopped at Costco on the way up the hill to stock up on some delicious ribeye's and cooked on the grill a meal fit for a king. Be sure and inquire with Mike about all your rental car needs as he rents Smartcars also and they were the bomb!! We had a great time touring Oahu in our Smartcar and the rates were extremely good. I could go on and on about our fantastic time on the island but I will close by giving this cottage our gold stamp of approval!!!! We will return!!!!

Home away from home
After so many trips to Hawaii, our stay at the Murray cottage was a welcomed treat away from the craziness of Waikiki! The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood in Hawaii Kai with a beautiful view and so many amenities. Our daughters, ages 15 and 18, enjoyed relaxing in the hammock and playing with Mochi, the resident dog who greeted us on our first day. The cottage had everything we needed but after staying a week, the washing machine was a blessing to have. We definitely plan to stay here on our next trip and take advantage of the BBQ grill!

PARADISE FOUND!!!
Wow- how lucky did we get! The aloha spirit is alive and well- thanks to the gracious hospitality of the Murray family. What wonderful ambassadors for Oahu,they were so helpful and knowledgeable about the island. Their beautiful guest cottage had everything you could ask for and the view was amazing. Waking up each morning to the sounds of tropical birds and Palm trees swaying made us feel so thankful that we had chosen to stay here.
There are not enough words to express how much we enjoyed our visit ( personal favorite was the outdoor shower- very Gilligan's Island like!). Our time here exceeded every expectation and more. ********** Ten Stars! Thanks again- we will be back!
