My mom and I have stayed here 2 times now. We just love everything about Bessie's Landing! Elaine goes above and beyond as the host. The place is super clean, lovely, cozy, charming, and so much more! There are yummy things in the refrigerator and freezer, as well as extra snacks provided. We love to sit on the porch and listen to the water feature with a Koi pond. It is so inviting! We look forward to returning soon!

We enjoyed out visit immensely! We relaxed sitting on the front porch in such a peaceful setting. The cottage was cozy and wonderfully stocked with snacks, drinks and healthy breakfast choices. We felt very welcome and comfortable. Great dining and shopping in the Jefferson area which is all very close with very pleasant atmosphere.

I absolutely LOVED staying here! The property was gorgeous, the owners were AMAZING! The host went WAY above and beyond by stocking the fridge and freezer with drinks and food. A fresh loaf of bread was waiting for us.... really, truly could see myself coming down for a visit just to sit on the porch and visit with the hosts. This is definitely a treasure in Jefferson, and I would highly recommend staying here! What a great memory for me and my mom.

I rented this for my parents for their 62nd anniversary. They enjoyed the stocked refrigerator and kitchen. They appreciated the beautiful property that the house sits on. The host provides abundant reading material on the history of Jefferson as well as pamphlets of restaurants and things to do in and around town.

Accomodations were very clean and comfy.
Handy location. Lots to do in Jefferson. When we were at the rental, we relaxed on the porch, watched TV, and read through some of the information provided about the many things available in the area.
Would definitely stay at Bessie's Landing again!

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, pots, pans and the refrigerator was stocked with food too! We really appreciated the eggs, beverages, and snacks. We'd definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Elaine and Ken have a darling property that is private, clean, and beautiful. The homemade blueberry bread that greeted us on arrival was delicious and a friendly touch. Also, there was an abundance of snacks and breakfast items which allowed us to enjoy our mornings without having to go out. I highly recommend Bessie's Landing to anyone wanting some quality R & R!

This place is super! Close to everything in Jefferson and to Caddo Lake. The cottage is so well furnished and decorated, with full kitchen and well-stocked fridge. The owner, Elaine is so cordial and friendly. It was the perfect place for us and our pets. Great fenced backyard, and the landscaping front and back was so nice and inviting. It shall be our "go to" in Jefferson!

The cottage was comfortable and filled with everything we needed. In addition there were snacks and drinks left for our enjoyment Access to Jefferson’s downtown area was easy. The town is full of history, parks and restaurants. It was a wonderful experience.

Elaine was definitely the hostess with mostess. The cottage was adorable and she stocked the fridge with breakfast goodies and soft drinks along with snacks and the best mango peach tea. It was over and above what we had expected.
The cottage is a sweet little two bedroom one bath with a kitchen and living area. It’s small but just the right size. She had a printed out sheet of places to eat and things to do. We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Jefferson.

What a charming place! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome. Elaine greeted us outside. Inside she had left us fresh blueberry bread, a bowl of fresh fruit, home-made iced tea and a freezer stocked with frozen breakfast goodies. Also fresh eggs and bread in the fridge. The place was spotless. My wife and I loved sitting on the porch having wine and beer in the evening, and mimosas on Sunday morning. The neighborhood is so beautiful and peaceful. Really a great, relaxing weekend. Looking forward to a return trip soon!

We totally enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, cute, had everything we could possibly need, fridge and freezer were stocked, and a fresh baked loaf of bread! We walked to great restaurants and enjoyed seeing historic homes on the way. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge our batteries!

This is the favorite rental we have ever stayed at. We loved having our coffee on the porch or just sitting and enjoying the view. Jefferson is a true historical treasure.

This cute house is so special. Decorated so nicely. Everything you could want was there, especially breakfast, snack food, and beverages. The beds were so good.
Absolutely no complaints. Host were attentive to our every need. Can’t say enough nice things about the experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Bessie’s Landing. Beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Our hosts were so accommodating especially when my daughter became ill and sadly we had to cut our trip short. We hope to meet up again with Jefferson in the future!

This is the best VRBO I have ever been in. With over 100 five star ratings, we expected it to be good, but it was way beyond our expectation. My wife and I travel and have stayed in a lot of VRBOs, Elaine could teach lessons to other VRBO owners on how to provide the best home and be a better host. It has the perfect location, downtown and just around the corner from a grocery store. It is immaculate, has sightseeing material, a wonderful homemade cake to welcome you, great snacks and drinks to get you started on a relaxing visit. I can't say enough about this cottage and we are going back again soon.

This was just a perfect spot to stay in Jefferson. It was just me and my husband, but there was room for more. Elaine was very helpful with advice about what to see and do in the area. I will definitely stay here on our next return!

What a delightful place! We were amazed at all the little details. The entire cottage is nice, beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and smells nice. We spent a lot of time on the porch, enjoying the sound of the waterfall in the pond. Our dog was allowed to roam the fenced backyard and feeding bowls were even provided. The brochures are arranged on the wall in an easy-to-find and creative way. We were blown away by the filled refrigerator and freezer and SO appreciated ALL the breakfast, food, drink and snack options provided!!! Elaine goes above and beyond to welcome her guests! We really enjoyed visiting with her and her husband. The cottage and hospitality are THE BEST!!!!!

Perfect place to stay. I have never stayed in a place where I felt more at home. It’s super quiet and peaceful. No need to pack snacks, they have the kitchen fully stocked with anything you can think of.

Home was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Close to downtown. Nice touch that kitchen was stocked for breakfast food, allowed for us to take our time and relax in the AM. Great patio to relax on too!
