This property is extremely neat and clean! The dinning room with the windows facing the river was our absolute favorite part! Beautiful even in the dead of winter! This property is not too far from some local bars that are super welcoming and all have wonderful food! We can’t wait to try out this place in the warmer months too!

Nice cabin. Great location.

Lovely, quaint cottage away from busy everyday life. A short drive to plenty of elk, eagles visited everyday on river at your back door. Very nice small town bar- restaurant down the road 10 minutes away. Some businesses are seasonal, but we had no problem finding good food in the area. The cottage is furnished with a very nice updated kitchen if you just want to stay and chill cook your own meals. The owner is very nice and on top of any problem that may arise. My wife is already talking about a return stay. Told he we have to go back because we forgot to sign the register book. Great price and everything you need for a quiet getaway.

We had a good weekend and saw several elk. We would have preferred a cabin in the woods and a bit closer to Benezette, but it was a nice rental. With the exception of the windowsills and blinds it was quite clean. I’m very picky as we used to have a bed & breakfast.

This property exceeded my expectations. From the photos, I expected the rooms to be small but there was plenty of space. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and pots/pans. It was secluded enough to where there was very minimal traffic but close enough (30 min max) to Emporium and Benezette so we were able to get everything we needed. Although it was too cold to go in, the noise from the creek was very relaxing and peaceful. Can't wait to visit again!
Note: If your vehicle is 4-wheel drive capable, I recommend driving up and visiting the "Top of the World" and "Fred Woods Trail". There's no GPS signal so directions are:
Take a right, cross the bridge, cross the railroad tracks, and immediately take a left onto Mason Hill Rd. Now, this road is nicknamed Suicide Slope so do not attempt to drive this when it's wet, without 4-wheel drive, if you're under the influence, or in the winter. This road is one lane and whoever is on the mountain-side (not drop-off side) will need to pull over and yield to oncoming traffic. You'll go up for a while, veer slightly left, and then you'll eventually hit Fred Woods Trail (trail on right, parking lef). It can be muddy but is very beautiful (the hike is between 4-5 miles total). If you continue straight, eventually the overlook will be on your left. When leaving the overlook, turn left, continue straight (for a while) and you'll reach the other end of Mason Hill Rd. Turn left and you'll loop back to the property in about 20-30 minutes.

Very disappointed that the listing showed a fire place and it didn’t work

We had a wonderful time with our friends and our dogs. The veiws were amazing and to sit on the back porch with a cup of coffee in the morning only hearing the sound of the water was so relaxing

This was the second cabin owned by Bryan & Jennifer that we have had the pleasure to stay at. The first cabin was so nice but this one outshined it by far! The location alone made it so much nicer. Having the creek right off the back yard was wonderful! We even had an eagle fly over while fishing. Our pups absolutely loved it there! Even our 10 year old Chihuahua acted like a puppy & our year old shih tzu was in heaven! Definitely would recommend it to anyone! Thank you so much.

Great location right on the water. The cabin was very clean and comfy. The furnishings and wood style really sells the cabin lifestyle vibe. It was perfect for our outdoor hiking/fishing family vacation! Can’t wait to come back again.

A lovely cabin in a beautiful rural location. Being next to a river was wonderful both for the wildlife and the opportunities it gave to cool down on a hot day.

We had a great time, cabin was wonderful, all the comforts of home and very clean. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the deer and bald eagles along with fishing in the creek. We also enjoyed sitting around the fire in the evenings. We especially liked the privacy and the location.
We plan on going back in the fall and I would highly recommend.

Great week of relaxing, fishing and tubing. Semi secluded cabin at end of the lane made it easy to just chill or go for a road trip. Even the dog gave it two paw thumbs up. We would definitely stay here again!!!

Possibly the nicest 'cabin' you'll ever rent. Modern, clean, well stocked kitchen & supplies, comfortable beds, great location for our purposes. A swimming & fishing hole out front shared by the neighborhood, a pair of eagles closeby, a nice variety of bird & wildlife. Friendly people enjoying nature & getting outside.

What a beautiful spot for a simple weekend getaway although this place was so great that I'd come back for a week long stay on vacation. Property managers were wonderful with communication and making sure we had all of the information we needed to enjoy our stay hassle free. The scenery here alone is breathtaking. Cell service was none but the wifi allowed me to communicate with others as needed. I highly suggest staying here, do not sleep on it.

Had a great time at the Camp Eagles Nest. Rustic yet quaint, all our needs and comforts were met. Great hosts Bryan and Jenn answered all questions and helped us feel right at home. We were a little early for Elk shed hunting, all the bulls we saw were still antlered and even sparring and fighting in mid February. Beautiful time in the most awesome mountains in the PA Wilds.

The cabin smelled clean and inviting, was warm and ready to enjoy as soon as you walked in. The decor is rustic, tasteful, well thought out, and very enjoyable. All the comforts from home and creek side is a plus.

We enjoyed our stay at the Creek Side Cabin, it was our second time staying here. The 1st floor is very nice with great decor, the second floor where the bedrooms are ok. The bed mattresses are firm and in good condition. We found the place to be clean and comfortable. The owners are very good to deal with.

The property is right on the river so it is nice if people like to fish, it's accessible right beside the rental. There is also a lot of wildlife there. I've been here 2 years and I love it!
