Beautiful waterfront home. Wonderfully setup for traveling with family or friends. Loved waking up to the sound of that waves and watching sunsets at night. The property outside and the fire pit area needed yard maintenance and tiding up.

We have been coming here for years Mark is a great host! Extra bedding, towels and filtered water were provided. We brought all the toys, bikes, small sailboat, kayaks, and standup paddle boards! All were used as the weather was great.

Views from the deck are really the best. You can see so much of the San Juans. We were also visited by an otter and an eagle likes to perch in the boat ramp every morning. No orca sightings this time but it’s in a great location for it. Lummi is a great island if you like quiet and relaxing. The house is really excellent also.

This is a return visit for us — we love the place so much. Hard to beat the location (right on the water and the spray from the waves hits the windows in a storm) with cows across the road, eagles perched on the trees down the road and miles of water in front of you. The house itself is very comfortable. The kitchen is pretty well equipped for most casual cooking and the layout is great for some shared preparation. Three bedrooms all with their own bath (and very comfortable beds) makes this a perfect place for a couples weekend.

We have enjoyed the Marina House five different times, which speaks so well to the accommodations, location, and the incredible hosts. Very comfortable, incredible views, large, well-equipped kitchen, three en-suite bathrooms, perfect for three couples, large dining area, and much more for a weekend or more. Above all, Mark and Amy are excellent, accommodating hosts, which we very much appreciated!

The view was beautiful, the water clear, the rocks and beach treasures perfect. This house is in the best spot to enjoy them all. Mark & Amy were great hosts and quick to answer questions when needed. Would love to stay here again!

From sunrise to sunset, a wonderful atmosphere on a dreamy Island.

Our family enjoyed our stay a lot. The view and location are fantastic.

The Marina House is a wonderful house and property with outstanding panoramic views (inside and out). The house itself is very comfortable (including the beds) with a well-appointed kitchen. Communication with the hosts was prompt and helpful and check in was easy. We brought bikes and enjoyed riding around the island from the house, hanging out on the beaches, chatting with locals as they took boats out, observing the wildlife (bald eagles, otters, seals; no orcas but heard they were nearby), and enjoying the deck. We kept the shades closed in the bedrooms during the day when it was sunny and had no issues with temperature.

Our family enjoyed our stay a lot. The view and location are fantastic.

Watching a pod of orcas from the deck, crab, biking, sailing, walking the island trails, Saturday market. What’s not to love about Lummi Island. Then to relax in this comfortable vrbo!

THIS PLACE IS GREAT. It’s always hard for me to have to leave a less than perfect review because I know most VRBO owners mean well and don’t realize the issues their rentals have from an outside perspective. These owners were so kind and really tried and I have to start by saying I would definitely come back here! Below is a list of pros and cons for this property during our 4 night stay just for sake of being honest and helpful: Pros: Location is insanely cool with the water right there behind the house Quiet street So much outdoor space Great comfortable beds and bedding Large and new kitchen with two sinks and a water view, a chef would be happy here they seem to have a lot to offer (even great dish set and tools) Dining room and dining set are quality and there is kitchen bar seating too Great patio couch and chair on deck for overlooking water Awesome fire pit location on side yard Bright natural lighting throughout home Easy on site parking Lots of DVDs and games for family They have a wine fridge (we didn't use) Neutral: One plastic chair on master deck, would be nice to have two good chairs there :) Don’t blame the owners but it was very hot at night because of the heat. Not enough fans available to help us beat the heat as there is no AC or screens on windows to keep bugs out if you want air flow L-shaped leather couch is not the best (very worn and cushion and pieces slide apart) Cons: My main issue- The house wasn’t very clean, floors dirty, toys under furniture weren't put away, upstairs bathtub was dirty and had no hand soap refilled, the dining table had crumbs embedded on it and was sticky, and upon arrival at 4:38 the housekeeping was still there rushing to leave and the dishwasher had just been run so I had to put someone else’s dishes away and they weren't even that clean and had food stuck to some items. Spa was uninviting, needs a cleaning and smelled bad (mildew-like) so we skipped going in Gazebo seems to be a storage (but it has a lot of potential) - it probably shouldn’t be advertised as a gazebo, there are chairs inside and a BBQ but there’s junk all around and it’s not nice looking or useful in there right now. All this being said- IT IS AN AWESOME HOUSE especially for the nightly rate and we highly recommend you come stay here if you're looking for a family or couple's getaway. The people on the island were so kind and it felt very safe here.

Stayed at Marina House with good friends from Texas. The house was beautiful, comfortable and immaculate with incredible views from nearly every room. Owners were awesome, thoughtful touches throughout the property made our trip a truly wonderful experience. Tough to beat this Island getaway.

This property location is amazing. True beachfront. Beds were comfortable and house was clean. As it was a rainy weekend, we enjoyed cooking in the stocked and spacious kitchen. Firepit was cozy and peaceful. Puzzles and board games were a hit. Only glitch was the TV and gas fireplace didn’t work for the kiddos movie night plan, but other than that, couldn’t have ask for a more perfect place to spend the weekend. House was super comfortable for three couples and we had fun exploring the island (buying a few wares from local spots) on Saturday and then had an absolutely amazing day on Sunday touring the San Juan’s by boat! Would absolutely return!!!

Such an experience! A beautiful home on the waterfront with spectacular views. My family and I stayed for 5 days and enjoyed hiking, beach combing, bird watching and visiting family from the island. The only reason for 4 stars is because of housekeeping. We had clean towels and clean bedding and all the linens were very nice and all beds were extremely comfortable. Housekeeping should pay a little more attention to a thorough cleaning of floors, kitchen cabinets, outside areas and window sills/tracks. Honestly other than that, it is a very nice home with amazing views and location and we would stay again!
