I'll start with the basics. This was a great location! Walking distance to restaurants, grocery, coffee, ferry, Sea Glass Beach; also it is near one of the major roads so it's easy to get to places that you really need a vehicle to get to (other beaches, Esperanza, distillery, etc) And, do get out and explore. This island and its people are amazing. Apartment also had beach chairs and towels which were great to have. We were only there 2 nights and didn't really use the kitchen but it seemed well supplied. Parking is on the street but we never had difficulty finding a spot. We never felt unsafe in the neighborhood. Now the cautions, the pictures are accurate as are reviews saying it's a little out of date. Personally, I think that is just the island vibe, but the friends I traveled with were a little older (70ish) and had difficulty with the one flight of stairs. Also, the bedrooms are air conditioned but not the rest of the apartment. There are plenty of windows and there is always a breeze but if you are used to being in AC all day you probably will be uncomfortable because the island is always hot. Also, the neighborhood is pretty noisy at night, probably because of where it is located. Elsie was wonderful. I had difficulty getting logged in to VRBO for no apparent reason during our first day but we figured out a work around. I would definitely stay again, either by myself or with different friends.

The apartment was large! Very comfortable. The bathroom was great, good water pressure and temperature. The chairs and umbrella for use at the beach was wonderful. When we arrived the was not a cooking knife. The owner was very responsive and provided one the next day. The hosts were attentive to the whole property. Very safe and close to small grocery stores and shops. A bit more kitchen serving/cooking bowls would be great.

We had a great day and night for our stay in Vieques. Manuel was so helpful in giving recommendations for beaches and restaurants. Evening Mosquito Bay tour was terrific! Was a perfect location to stay and is right next door to bakery which also made amazing sandwiches for our beach lunch the day we arrived!

The cleanliness of this property can be improved. Expect kitchen and bathroom to be old. Also, they didn't have any bowls in the kitchen, we had to eat ramens with cups. Location is convenient and about a 10 minute walk from the ferry terminal. It's right next to a bar so you can hear music all night long. Nice garden area and cute kitty. Giving a 3-star overall as an Average rating. Not as valued as options on the main island, but I think still on the cheaper end on Vieques (at the time on booking).

Great central location. Enjoyed the iguanas in the back yard and the cute little shop out front.

We enjoyed our one-night stay here. Our family of six fit into the three beds perfectly. Everyone was happy and the location was a selling point for me. We were within walking distance of the ferry and my six and eight year olds were able to do the walk easily.Also within walking distance were souvenier shops, a small market, scooter rentals (advance rental!), restaurants, and an awesome lunch/brunch ice cream place. Host found my earrings and notified me in time so I was able to get them. Lovely stay!

Nice little place convenient for all our activities. Elise was great and prompt with responses. Her brother was available when we checked in. They also had a jeep for rent that was available. We found it very convenient..Overall great place!

Elsie is friendly and responsive. She picked us up at ferry terminal and kindly gave us a ride and a truck rental. The apartment we rent is on the second floor, and the door opens outside directly to the stairs which is a little bit inconvenient. Each rooms are 5cm higher than the kitchen/living area without a very obvious sign. We stumbled several times, luckily not fell. Otherwise, the room is clean and just as pictures shown. We accidentally left our toiletries bag including all our electronic toothbrushes, toothpastes, facial moisturizer, my contactless in the bathroom. We checked out at 11am and returned car at 3pm. However, we were not notified that we left something in the apartment during their cleaning time. Although we know that is our fault, still feel disappointed.

We checked in with Angel and he told us everything we needed to go on the island as well as taking us snorkeling to find sting rays and turtles! He also recommended where to eat and gave us a few suggestions for our adventures on the mainland. The property was set back off the road and this made it feel safe and secluded. It had a huge mango tree and as it turns out iguanas LOVE mangos so we saw several just behind the property in the trees. The wild Horses love mangos too so we brought them with us on our travels around the island. A few things I would improve on would be there were tiny ants on the walls, limited silverware and really low water pressure in the shower, like a trickle. No it is pretty small for a family but we really just used it to sleep. And there was an outside shower out back with great pressure so we used that at night! We rented the jeep also and it let us go everywhere on the island! It was awesome!

Very good place for short stay. The owner is very warm-hearted and kind. Enjoyed the experience and banana trees in the backyard!

It's all about your expectations. Vieques is beautiful! We love natural beauty, so we were enchanted. Do not expect fancy, luxurious, modern accommodations or you will be sadly disappointed. Apartment was dated, but it did have all it said, and all I needed, except blow drier. No big deal anyways. Apartment was within Isabela II district,, walking distance from ferry terminal. Not far, but heat, sun, luggage are factors. If not fit, take taxi. I did feel safe and locals are friendly, down to earth, and helpful. Hostess responded quickly with info and suggestions. No issues arose during my stay. You will need to rent transportation to get around island to its many rustic, but calm surf beaches. Will return to Vieques, a paradise island indeed.

Isabel was great at instructing us about the check in process. She responded quickly when we communicated with her. The apartment was nice and very comfortable.

We needed a place for one night so we could do the bio bay tour on Vieques. This place was perfectly adequate. We had a group of 7. ^ would have fit well in the beds. The 7th slept on the futon, which was fine, but there's no A/C in the living room. But we were grateful to find a place that would accommodate our large group. Unfortunately water was out on the whole island while we were there so we were unable to flush toilets/shower/wash dishes/etc. This was no fault of the property owner, and they were very apologetic. Just be aware that it seems water/power outages might be common so plan accordingly (we wished we had bought more water before the markets had closed.) Our kids enjoyed it because there were iguanas and a very friendly cat on the property. We did see a cockroach in the unit, which is common in this climate. Just be careful with your food.

The place was very nice, clean and comfortable. We loved staying here and the apt also comes with jeep that you rent separately. The host was very nice. The location is very close to the ferry which was a plus. Also has a small supermarket and bakery at walking distance.

Cute apartment. Close to Vieques port so we walked to it and walked around downtown Vieques. It was a snug apartment but it slept all 6 of our family comfortably. Hostess was very nice. We didn’t have hot water for our shower but cold was not a big problem for us. We were sweaty and dirty so cold was refreshing and helped our kids be quick in the one bathroom. It was just what we needed for our one night stay in Vieques.

The whole apartment was so clean and confortable. I’ll definitely stay there again.

Very cozy apartment. AC works great. WiFi works great. Comfortable beds. Kitchen was well equipped. There were a bunch of towels and despite our large group we never ran short of them. Easy street parking right across the apartment. Owner is very responsive and very pleasant. Definitely will stay again. Highly recommended

It is nice place to stay. The apartment has two bedrooms that makes it suitable for a whole family or a small group of friends. It has all the amenities and people may cook by themselves if they can bring materials before landing there. And the owner was so nice, texted us in advance to ensure that we could arrive on time during the COVID.
