Everything you need for a weekend off the grid. Host and cabin were great!

We had the most relaxing weekend in this property. The cabin was spotless and cozy. Be prepared to turn your phone off though due to no WiFi. (This was our favorite part!) although the window beside the fireplace was the perfect place to charge and check for messages. There is a great collection of games and DVDs (which we donated more to both!) My husband and I both have very hectic work schedules, so it was a dream to sit by the fire with a glass of wine while playing Sorry! with our daughter who is 7. The cabin is very well stocked and had everything we needed! The owner was very kind and excellent at communicating and helping with anything we needed. We were a short distance from the state park and a fun fleemarket! It was the best long weekend we’ve had in a long time! We look forward to visiting again sometime.

The cabin location is great for being close to hiking trails and to provide the opportunity to unplug from every day hectic schedules. Cell service does not work at the cabin, so truly unplugging! Watching the deer in the back of the property made our mornings. We appreciated the quietness. However, this cabin needs a lot of TLC inside and outside. We left with a long list of things that need fixed and/or could be improved for future guests - all have been provided to the owner.

This was my first vrbo booking and it was smooth and easy. Owner was nice, cabin was super clean, and had all we needed. Hot tub was a blessing, location was nice. So glad we picked here to stay. We are a family of five… 10,10,4… all enjoyed.

Our second time staying within a year. We love this place! Just hanging out with no cable or cell service is perfect! Watching the old movies is a nice addition!

The cabin was clean, beautiful, and comfortable and was the perfect place to spend a quiet birthday weekend. The host was communicative and awesome to work with. My only complaint and the reason I’m not leaving a five star review is that when we went to get in the hot tub it was green with stuff floating in it (most likely chemicals) and a useable hot tub was a requirement when choosing a cabin. I did text the owner on Friday and he said he could have someone out on Saturday if we wanted but our trip was so short we didn’t want to deal with maintenance people so we declined. Overall it was a great experience and aside from the hot tub issue a perfect cabin for a couple.

This place was great for a weekend getaway with some girls, loved the hot tub and the open space.

My husband and I have stayed at Hocking Hills in the past, this was our first time at this cabin/cottage and it is exactly as described! It’s very tranquil- peaceful- beautiful!! We thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and the privacy it offers! The hot tub was so relaxing after a day of hiking and seeing the sights! The bed was so comfortable and we loved all the personal touches! We also found the hidden object and rehid it! What a great idea!! No complaints and would recommend to anyone who wants to disconnect from the world and reconnect with each other! The house was very nice however there wasn’t Wi-Fi, very little parking, and no outdoor lights. Towels weren’t that clean. Toilet doesn’t flush in between uses. Have to wait 10-15 mins to flush. Stove may be going out it took an hour to cook eggs. Very spacious living room. May want to fix the curtain in the bottom basement area it’s kind of creepy at night when in jacuzzi feels like someone is down there looking at you lol. Over all I enjoyed staying there.

My husband and our 4 children came to hocking hills for weekend get away and to share great memories! Thank you for the great hospitality! We will definitely make another trip in the future!

My husband went for a weekend getaway - the cabin was beautiful and the wooded setting was amazing!!! We really enjoyed our time just relaxing in nature. The owner, Brian was very nice had good communication letting us know the check-in process - we will definitely stay here again :)))

If you are looking for a quiet getaway, free from technology, this beautiful cabin is AMAZING!! Easily one of the most comfortable, clean, and homey places we've ever stayed in!! Has everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing vacation! We loved the location, which is 10 minutes to town (food, stores), and 20 minutes from the park and hiking! We can't thank you enough for sharing your home with us!

This property was perfect for a weekend getaway. Property was extremely clean and the instructions were clear. I do kinda wish it would of had WiFi because there is no service, other than that it was spot on! Would 100% return again!!

It was a beautiful cabin. Very clean had everything you need. If your looking for a trip to get away from life this is it!

Family spent the weekend hiking at Hocking Hills state park. It's a nice distance away from the park that you don't have all the visitor traffic. The cabin looked beautiful with a snow fall overnight. Enjoyed the hot tub & fireplace. Great time to spend with the family and get away from busy life.
