Cette maison personnalisée sur 3 niveaux comprend 5 chambres (2 suites parentales avec lits king-size et bains à remous; niveaux principal et supérieur), 5. 5 salles de bain, salon sur deux étages avec cheminée en pierre du sol au plafond, télévision à écran plat dans chaque chambre et un grand espace familial avec un billard et un bar! Comprend également un autre lit king dans la troisième chambre du niveau supérieur et deux chambres au niveau inférieur avec des lits queen. Parking dans la rue disponible, le garage n'est pas inclus.

The house is great but could be better with some simple improvements. I'll start with the positives. The location is very nice and felt private. It felt spacious and the layout was perfect for our group of 9. There was a lot of dishes, utensils, etc. in the kitchen. Now onto the areas that should be addressed. The beds in the basement were not great, one's frame was too loud and seemed like something needed to be tightened because any movement resulted in metal squeaking/grinding. The other was like sleeping on plywood (some people might like that). The pool table had plastic pockets inside the original pockets (originals must have ripped open?) but the plastic ones were warped so bad they prevented some shots from going in. There were no extra towels anywhere in the house. This was an issue when we wanted to use the hot tub. The basement TV was hard to operate. It said to contact their provider to get access to basic channels while all the other TVs in the house worked fine. Finally, and possibly most importantly, communication with the owner during and after our stay was non-existent. We wanted to have a fire in the fire pit outside. I reached out to owner to see if they had firewood on site or if they could recommend somewhere to purchase. No response. After our stay, we realized one of the kids left their blanket at the house. I reached out to owner again to see if someone found/turned it in. No response. Ignoring messages is unacceptable in my opinion

Overall, our stay was wonderful. The house is large enough to comfortably spread out and is in a beautiful setting. The check-in process was simple and all of the details were clearly explained.
The house could use a deep cleaning, there were a lot of cob webs and there was a dead mouse in one of the closets. Not a huge deal and can be expected in a house in a wooded area. My only complaint is that the house is very dark. There were a number of burned out bulbs and those that were working needed a higher wattage.

My family consists of 3 sons and their families who live in different parts of the country and not near my home in Iowa. This year we decided to stay in a place that was larger and more centrally located to celebrate Christmas. Each family had their own bed and bath which was much appreciated. The open space on the main floor provided a comfortable area to cook meals and relax together. The large open space downstairs was a great area for the kids to enjoy time together. Our stay was great and made wonderful memories for everyone!

The house was perfect for our group of 12. The kitchen was fully stocked. Impressive. So much space for all of us. The hot tub and pool table were a plus. Had a great time there. Communication with Jolene was awesome.

The 10 of us thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay here. Five bedrooms, each with a bath, was a perfect layout for five couples. Very clean. Loved the outdoor spaces. The fault: there's no closet available in the large master bedroom. It's locked up. You have to store all your stuff on the floor -- and we had a lot of stuff. Also, if you are a serious pool player, you'll want to remove the plastic inserts from each pocket. It's a good table, but the inserts greatly interfere with access to the pockets. All in all, we would come back.

We needed to make a couple special requests on check in and length of stay and they were extremely accommodating. House is beautiful and very comfortable. Worked great for our family in the area for a wedding.

A great place to stay with a large group of friends. Each having our own bedroom/bathroom ensuite. The house had one of the best kitchens. Well stocked with just about everything a cook might need. I'd recommend this home rental for sure. Galena is a great place to visit!

It is true that "Pictures can say a 1,000 words", but they can also be deceiving and used to make things look better than they really are. NOT IN THIS CASE! We were beyond thrilled to open the front door to our 5-bedroom rental home and immediately realize that it was actually BETTER than the pictures we had seen! Truly TOP SHELF in every way: impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, tons of space on all three levels, completely outfitted kitchen with truly everything you could possibly need! Our group of 7 agreed that we could have easily stayed another day or two, just to enjoy everything to the fullest!

I rented the house for my 11 member family. Everyone was pleased with our stay. The house was clean with a fully stocked very nice kitchen. We loved the large table which enabled us to eat together as well as play games like our lively game of family feud. The pool table was probably the most popular asset as was the hot tub. We grilled burgers and made a fire one evening in the pit to enjoy relaxing with family conversation. The only negative comments were that the beds had hard mattresses. All in all, we throughly enjoyed our stay in this house and would definitely rent it again.

We had a family gathering with twelve to surprise a family member for their birthday. This house was great and all 12 of us were very comfortable for the weekend. The house is accessed conveniently and quickly from downtown Galena. The access to the Owner’s Club was fantastic for the outdoor pool on a hot day. Great indoor and outdoor spaces for all. We recommend and will stay again when the next Galena trip arises.

Everything about the house was for perfect for our family of nine. Each bedroom has its own separate bathroom, which made getting ready that much easier. The house was clean and we had all the dishes we needed for our meals. Would definitely recommend for any large groups.

Everyone enjoyed this house. There was plenty of room for the 10 adults, 1 child and our Golden Retriever. The house was very clean and well stocked with towels and supplies. We did cook all our meals there and the kitchen was very well stocked. Could have used a few more coffee cups, but other than that it had everything you would need. We would stay here again!

Great set up for 2 families - 2 masters and plenty of additional bedrooms & bathrooms for the teens/tweens, it worked just perfectly for our group. Beds were comfortable, house was very clean, and kitchen was fully stocked - although we only prepared breakfast at home, we could see there was everything you would need to cook full meals. Would definitely recommend!

I brought six women to this property to celebrate my birthday. The property is just like the listing. It is beautiful and spacious. The property management was easily accessible. The property is very clean, but the microwave should be replaced because it has baked in dirt. We did not use the Jacuzzi, but it’s in a great location outside near the fire pit. The fire pit is wonderful. However, it appeared as if the neighbors did not like us being out at approximately 9 PM. They came out flashing lights, which seemed extremely rude. The location of the property is not far from the downtown area. There are a lot of amenities to choose from in Galena. I must note that at night it is extremely dark and the roads are small. Therefore, you have to be careful when driving after dark.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful property. We especially liked the feeling of privacy in the wooded back yard with hot tub and fire pit. All of us having our own bathrooms was definitely a plus! The kitchen was extremely well stocked and perfect for big family meals. We would certainly stay there again!

Overall the property was very nice and spacious. With 7 adults and two children we had plenty of room. The 5.5 baths was great. Had alot of fun with pool table, hot tub and fire pit Just the general cleanliness was an issue.
