This is the third year we have rented this property for a family get together. We also rented the house next door which accommodated extended family. The house is roomy and comfortable. Deb is a wonderful host!

The lake house is perfectly located, beautifully furnished, and well stocked with all the comforts of home! The welcome basket of goodies was a lovely touch! We can’t wait to go back!

This property was perfect for our group. We were able to gather as we cooked our meals and enjoyed sitting on the deck - absorbing the mild weather and beautiful view of the lake.

This is an older house, maybe built in the early 70's, which has been totally updated. One of the best things about the house were the little laminated cards on doors and windows, appliances and other amenities with instructions for their use. Upon arrival, there was a chalkboard with a message welcoming our group with some tortilla chips and salsa.The driveway has steep section with a tight corner and there was a boat trailer parked at the corner which made it difficult to park with an Excursion. Smaller vehicles should be easier to navigate.

Been coming here for the last 4/6 years and every time it is fantastic. Love the view of the lake and the ease of checking in and out.

We were so delighted to walk in and find a wonderful basket of goodies from the owners...that is above and beyond! We've stayed at this home twice, and it's the perfect get away for our family. Very quiet location, beautiful views.

Beautiful lake home. Deb goes above and beyond to provide everything needed for an enjoyable stay. This was our second time renting this immaculate home, and we hope to return next summer. Highly recommend.

The lake house was the perfect property for us to stay at for our Niece's wedding, which was at Mallard's farm in Talladega. My husband and I, my Aunt and Uncle and my Nephew and his girlfriend all stayed there. We had plenty of room to spread out, do our thing, eat, drink, sleep, shower, and just relax without getting on one another's nerves. We absolutely loved it! We all wished we could've stayed just one more day! We would recommend this property to anyone, no matter what their plans included, you just can't go wrong. Thanks to the owners for allowing us to stay. We hope to some day soon, plan another trip, when we can stay longer, and hopefully with warmer weather! The Barefoot Family : )

Great place and owner is really efficient and helpful

Love the lake house! This was a work stay for a small family business. The house was comfortable for all 5 of us, it was so much nicer than a hotel. At the end of the day we could relax on the back deck, cook dinner and hang out together. It made the job so much easier knowing we went “home” each night. Deb was AWESOME! Very understanding when we had to leave for a few days to go home and deal with Hurricane Dorian. I would absolutely stay again! (Next time it would be for a vacation though!)

This lake home is spacious, beautifully decorated, and right on the water. Our family enjoyed a wonderful weekend celebrating birthdays and Father’s Day. The setting is very peaceful and the house was supplied with everything we needed. The owner was wonderful and answered all my questions immediately. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect home for our family to stay in for a wedding in Pell City! The pictures don’t do it justice. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the deck looking at the lake, played games and loved the large kitchen we could all cook In together! Would love to come back for another visit ❤️

We loved our stay! It was like hanging out in your second home. The kitchen was supplied with everything you need and it's nice quality. We had a welcome basket when we arrived, which the kids really appreciated. It was close enough to Birmingham to be convenient but far enough away to feel like a vacation. We watched the sun rise with our coffee every morning and watched it set with dinner every evening. This will be our first choice when we come to see family again.

Love this place. Owners are so accommodating. Third year in a row staying here and will most definitely be back next year.

Beautiful piece of property. Gentle slope to get down to the lake from the house. House was clean with all amenities. Ms Conner was great to work with. Grandkids, swam , fished and had a great time. Would recommend to anyone

The kitchen was well stocked, and the house had space to hang out upstairs and downstairs which was great for us because we had several teenagers that enjoyed having their "own space". The lot has a great view of the lake and is fairly level from house to the water's edge. The host was a great communicator, always prompt in her responses and very helpful.

Deb is a wonderful owner. She responded to all our inquiries prior to our visit quickly and was readily available during our stay. This VRBO is a beautiful place on the lake just as the pictures show. We visited the week of April 17-24 so did not even attempt a swim. The home is a really nice place that easily sleeps eight. The kitchen is well equipped to handle a party of eight or more with ample plates, bowls, silverware, pot and pan, etc. etc. Deb provided cleaning supplies and trash bags as well as bathroom tissues, etc. which many other VRBOs we rented have not. Towels for kitchen and bath were ample as well. The living rooms up and down stairs were really nice with comfortable sofas and chairs. We did not have need of the gas fireplaces but would foresee a cozy environment with them on during cool evenings. All agreed that bedding was comfortable. The master bedroom and bath were huge. The top floor balcony with table seating for six and a gas drill was a delight. Nice place to eat outside and view the lake. It is our opinion that this place would be especially wonderful for a quiet, peaceful vacation during the warm months especially if given access to Deb's boat. There is an ample lake side lawn for games or just lying out in the son. Could not hope for a more gracious and responsive host. Highly recommend!!!

Our family loved this lakehome! It is a beautiful home. Lots of space. Everything was very clean. We love to cook when we are on vacation and this kitchen had everything we needed. The best part of this home is the awesome view! Absolutely breathtaking. Big level back yard for games and easy walk yo the lake. I would highly recommend this home. We will definitely be going back. The owner was very easy to work with as well.

I love renting this place when we come for the races. Owner is very nice and very helpful if we had a problem. Will definitely be back next year

The lake house was gorgeous. There was a basket of goodies left for us by the owner. The view from the deck is breathtaking. Stepping out the back door and onto the deck is an immediate stress reliever. I will be visiting this beautiful place again, very soon. The owner is extremely nice and helpful.

this place was amazing. everything we needed and more. clean and comfortable, easy to find, plenty of room for the group of 9 that we had. would definitely come back and recommend to any staying in the area.
