Isuru - the owner, his wife, Thakshila, and their son Ehas were fantastic hosts during our stay. Upon our arrival in Sri Lanka they arranged for our transport from the airport to the cabana and we were greeted with a complimentary drink when we got there. The cabana itself is fantastic, the front door opens up to a porch with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Once we had left our bags, the hosts met us to give us more details on the area and the town. They told us about the recommended swimming areas and the main things to see and do in Galle. When it came to food, we were served homemade meals which Isuru and Thakshila prepared from scratch. It's needless to say that everything we were offered was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. As our stay coincided with New Year, they prepared a special meal with enough plates to cover the whole table. During the stay we had an accident and needed to seek medical advice.When Isuru found out, he cancelled his engagements, took us to the hospital, spoke with the doctors and came with us from pharmacy to pharmacy to find what we need. He was very very compassionate and made sure we were okay throughout the whole ordeal. This is not something one would typically expect but it goes to show just how much the hosts genuinely care about their visitors. We spent a week at Beach Rip Rap Cabana and it was hands down the best holiday we have ever had. Throughout the whole stay, Isuru and Thakshila would come by the cabana to make sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Even after we left, they stayed in touch with us to see how the rest of our stay in Sri Lanka is going and whether we made it back to the UK safely. I can't express how impressed and grateful we are to have received the service we did.

Amazing location in the beach with a private garden. The owner was super Kindly with us and prepared delicius breakfast. Higly recommended.

The experience at Rip Rap Cabana was excellent. We had an amazing cabana, with a private garden, a private beach and an excellent host and service. I am very happy with the experience and it is definitely I would come back again. All in all, an exclusive place very close by Galle (it costs 20 rupees per person to get to Galle by bus. Bus stop 1 min away from the cabana). Thanks Isuru and your family for making our experience so great.

Everything was amazing. This place is a gem! Book it now before it’s too late. It’s a private cabana for 2 in a natural large grass setting with palm trees and lounge chairs that look onto a private beach! We wanted to stay a full week as soon as we arrived! Welcome coconuts, lovely host family and the most delicious food! All the drinks and food was so cheap and such high quality!
