Loved this location in Avila Beach. Beach view from balcony is nice and just enough off of Front Street to avoid some of the noise on the weekends. Private parking was wonderful. Farmers market and band on Friday night were a definite bonus. Close to SLO and Santa Maria but without the hustle and bustle of Pismo Beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a request to the owner. We are readers, not TV watchers, and every year we have to bring a reading lamp for the living room. We work and read at the table and the lighting is especially bad there - more mood lighting. CVR replaced the lights over the table while we were there but it still didn't help. I wish the light was on a timer so that it could be made brighter for those of us that need it for work and reading. My only complaint.

I had stayed here 2 years earlier and figured kitchen supplies would look older, but this management company replaces stuff when it starts looking old. There was an All-Clad pan that looked new, as I could not find even one scratch. The knives are great, though I couldn’t find the sharpener. The kitchen overall is well-stocked, which we appreciated as we cooked every day. The whole condo is well-appointed and tastefully decorated. I especially love the beautiful yellow bathroom. I even loved the ceramic soap holders by both sinks. The bed is very comfortable and we slept great every night. Thank you Coastal Vacation Rentals!

Reviewer Comments: My girlfriend and I were looking for a nice quiet cozy place to stay up in Central California and came across this wonderful place at 28 San Miguel. After looking at the pictures and knowing the charm of Avila Beach, we decided to rent the property for four nights which I wish we could have stayed longer. It was a beautiful and very classy home with all the amenities anyone could ever need. The pictures didn't even do it justice so if you do rent this place, you'll know what I mean after your time there. Great location and view of the Ocean. Although we had a lot of rain and cold, what better place to be with the one you love.....highly recommend staying there as the whole process of checking in and checking out was excellent. You also have an underground secured garage that has a dumbwaiter....yes, I said dumbwaiter to help get all your belongings up to be unloaded right at your doorstep! Who has that?? Pretty cool and very convenient. Go see what I mean if you get a chance. Worth the money for sure......

We've been coming to the area for years but this was the first time staying in Avila rather than in SLO. Oh man, what a difference! Being able to walk to restaurants, Reimer's, the beach and the park was so convenient. Waiting for our table at the Custom House from our patio was awesome! Speaking of the patio -- morning coffee and evening wine with that view was spectacular. We loved the open concept and upscale finishes (beach chic). The place was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. We can't wait to return to this great beach house!
