The house was very nice and clean. We were very pleased with the property.

My family had a great stay at this property! Our party had five adults and one infant, and there was plenty of room for everyone. It’s tucked away in a suburban neighborhood with easy access to grocery stores, a few restaurants, and I-405. The fact that it has a crib was a real selling point for us, but overall it was a great spot.

We had a great stay at Starla and Tom's place. Neighborhood is nice and quiet and they are very responsive and helpful.

The downstairs quarters were beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. We didn't fully understand that it was a basement with a family in the upstairs. Private entrance, minimal noise, just a little uncomfortable trying to figure out entrance and location initially.

The location was private and very relaxing. Not far from a grocery store, spacious, very clean and stocked with all necessities for basic cleaning. The host was responsive and very polite.

As you see the photos in the publication, it is real how you find the house. Starla and her husband are always on the lookout if you need anything during the days you are at her house. Accessible to the freeway and shops, excellent location, without thinking about it we return to stay in this house.

Our family of 7 needed a place to stay near Seattle while refinishing our hardwood floors at our home. With virtual schooling, we needed a place with a lot of space, without ideally breaking the bank. This place ended up being perfect for our family, especially with all the outside smoke during the 4 days of our stay. Everyone had a bed to sleep in, and there was plenty of space for our kids to spread out and do their virtual schooling. The internet speed was great (no issues for our kids). The kitchen was very nice also, with plenty of items to cook with. We did not feel cramped inside the space, which was nice since we ended up spending 99% of our time inside the home with all the smoke outside. Starla was very responsive to any questions we had. All that being said, I do have a few areas for comment/improvement - mostly minor: - The listing describes the unit as a "suite", and the title says "Spacious house..." I would have preferred if the listing could have been more clear that the unit was an in-law unit with the owners living on the 2nd floor.- We had a few issues with the parking on the street (had to move our car a couple of times).- The home was mostly very clean when we arrived. But, there were a few items that could've been cleaner. The stow-away bed had crumbs on it when we pulled it out. The high-chair had crumbs and cheerios on it, so we didn't use it. One of the sheets had a fairly large fluid stain on it. Small items in the big scheme of things.- Beds were a bit "bouncy" for our taste. (This is a personal preference thing.)- The garage door is loud, so when the owner opened/closed it either early in the morning or later in the evening, we could hear it clearly in two of the bedrooms.Again, the items noted above were minor details for us. Overall, we had a very good experience with the place, and we would absolutely stay here again if we're in a similar situation.

10 of us descend of my cousin and aunt in issaquah. Newcastle was the perfect location. Lots of good walks in the morning, easy to Sea Tac, Seattle and issaquah. Great house. We slept 5 in this house, no sharing of beds.

We had a great stay. Starla was so sweet. The house was very well stocked and had lots of extras just in case you forgot something. Plenty of linens, towels, etc. I thought our family would struggle with only 1 bathroom but we made it work easily. The reason I did an overall of 4, not 5 is because of the entry/exit to the space. You have to trek up and down a dirt/gravel/unpaved walkway along the side of the house to enter and exit. That was a huge struggle for my mother who had a recent knee replacement. And taking our luggage up the hill was challenging. It would have been much easier if the area was paved. In the late night, it’s not well lit so we used the flashlights on our cell phones because we didn’t want to misstep. That was my only challenge. Otherwise our stay was great.

Stayed 4 nights for a convention in town. Great place and compared to what 4 rooms for 4 adults would cost at the local hotel, it's an even greater experience. Quiet, your own entrance, and the owner went above and beyond to help us while there and make things nice.

Nicely furnished and maintained duplex. The rental is the lower floor of owners' home. The large room actually has two big beds which was great for my son and his kids. Only negative is that the plumbing is noisy. It bothered my husband, but not the others in our party. Travel to Seattle waterfront is about 20-30 minutes.

The in-law unit was more spacious than expected, was great for us (family of 4) with plenty of extra room. We were exploring the area prior to a relocation and it was a great location. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We had everything we needed!

Our trip to Seattle to surprise our grandchildren with an early Christmas was perfect. Our home away from home could not have been any better as the location was 5 minutes from the grandchildren and Tom and Starla are wonderful and the accommodations were perfect.

We were so blessed to stay at this beautiful home close to Seatac airport and Seattle with quick access to major freeways. The owners made us feel welcome and let us know that we could approach them with any concerns. We have nothing but praise for this comfortable home, large rooms, soft towels, high quality sheets and bedding, well stocked supplies in bathroom and kitchen. The path to the private backyard entrance was well lighted. The home was nicely heated during our December stay. Felt so good when we returned every night from sightseeing and visits with our new baby granddaughter. We are sharing our excellent experience with our Hawaii family and friends!

My family and I stayed in this basement apartment. There was WAY more space than we expected. Location was great, owner was very friendly and accommodating. Some cool wildlife in the back yard throughout our stay - deer, blue jays, rabbits. Would definitely stay again.

Well stocked house with everything you could need. Large area that sleep that could comfortably sleep 8. Very private and well kept. A bit of a challenge getting down the walkway on the side. Homeowners were very accommodating. Would defi rent again

Everyone enjoyed the daylight basement...lots of natural lighting. Starla and Tom were very welcoming and let us use their BBQ for our dinners. Practical type of place that has what you need, nothing fancy. Suited our group of six very well. The one bedroom has extra beds and a crib. Bellevue is a beautiful area to bike and we enjoyed the trails and lovely scenery on our adventures.
