Ce loft comprend 1 chambre et 2 salles de bain complètes, une cuisine complète, un balcon, un placard extérieur extérieur avec jouets pour la neige, un four micro-ondes, une cheminée à gaz, 3 téléviseurs (tous écrans plats), 2 lecteurs DVD (un dans le salon et dans la chambre), bibliothèque de DVD, barbecue, chaîne stéréo avec lecteur de CD, 3 téléphones et accès Internet haut débit sans fil gratuit. Cette unité a une vue magnifique sur les montagnes Sherwin et le village de Mammoth. Le salon a un canapé-lit queen-size, la chambre à coucher a 2 lits simples et la mezzanine a un lit California King size (tous les lits ont une literie neuve). Il y a quelques marches pour atteindre cette unité et il y a 2 niveaux à l'intérieur. Le niveau d’entrée comprend le salon, la cuisine, la salle à manger, une chambre et une salle de bain. Proximity to the village is always a plus, and the spot was spacious and comfortable. I appreciated the the over-fireplace tv was tilted down for better viewing!

We went to Mammoth for my daughters birthday, and booked this property specifically because it had a hot tub in the listing, even a photo included in the photo gallery. It's a tradition to take my daughter skiing for the day and then soak in a hot tub. Well to our surprise when we went down to the pool area in our bathing suits that the hot tub and pool are under construction, and that was never disclosed to us in our lengthy check-in instructions. And not sure why they didn't put it in the listing either. And when brought to the attention of property management, they handled it very poorly, with no sympathy, relying on the "small print" in our rental agreement.
Also, their was a dead cockroach under one of the beds, the coffee pot(s) didn't work, the tea kettle was so rusted out it fell apart when moving it off the stove, their was no basic condiments (cooking oil, butter, etc), the couch was very sloppy and uncomfortable, the linens were very chinsy and low end, and the list of "fines" for leaving the lights on, or not starting the dishwasher, or not locking a window were very penny anti for someone who just paid a thousand dollars for a couple nights stay. Also, the ski locker was so crammed with junk, we couldn't even put one pair of skis in there, not sure why they even left the ski locker key out for us to use.
Definitely wouldn't stay here again just based on the pickiness and pettiness of the property management.

We were visiting during the snow storm that broke the annual record of snowfall at Mammoth! Couldn’t have been more in awe of the beauty all around this trip. Val d’Isere #21 is a very convenient & comfortable condo for a small group. The proximity to the village & gondola made the location stand out. The unit was very comfortable with an updated kitchen, nice entertainment equipment, and an easy to use gas fireplace on a timer. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were adequate. The unit’s coffee pot did not work properly which was a small (but important!) detail, lack of underground parking is a consideration if you don’t want to shovel you car out after it snows. Also want to point out there is no in-unit washer/dryer and no grill available on the small deck, both features that may be important when considering a rental. Finally, they hot tub was closed during our stay which we were told was the result the explosion at the complex the previous week.

Good apartment with amenities. It could have had some more cleaning material like a kitchen countertop degreaser like 409 to help guests keep the place clean. Besides that everything was enjoyable!

I would like to say this property is very nice. The kitchen looked as if it had just been remodeled, as well as being very clean. Plenty of room for my family of five adults. The location was next to the Village which made it very convenient to get to the slopes. As for parking, there was plenty of room even with the huge amount of snow that fell. Arlene worked tirelessly, hour after hour, to make sure the cars could get out.

Our family had a wonderful stay at Val D'lsere. The location is convenient and the unit had all the conveniences of a home. No detail was overlooked.

Super easy check in and out! Place was clean and loved having drinks/ coffee on the balcony. Great location next to the village and kitchen was perfect! The only suggestion would be a new mattress on the pullout couch but other than that, the place was amazing!

A group of coworkers and I stayed at this property for a post-busy season ski getaway. The proximity to the Village was perfect - easy access to the Gondola and the shuttle to Main Lodge. The property itself was clean and as expected. This is the perfect spot for a Mammoth trip, I would definitely stay here again.

great place. great location but…
the place is really nice but the loft bed is terrible. I basically slept in a huge hole in the bed and had to throw my leg over to get out of bed. If not for the old bed i would give this place 5 stars

Great for family Mammoth skiing
The condo was great for our family of 4. It was spacious and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. The only think I would change is the bathrooms. They need updated. Otherwise, it was perfect.

The also charge cleaning fee however you will be charged additional penalty fees you if you don't clean up after yourself in the kitchen or dump the trash? Then why have a cleaning fee?

Right across the street from the Village! We actually preferred the stay over the village because we always had access to our vehicle, right away! The house itself was perfect. We only had 2 people, but 4 would have been fine. Definitely booking this property, next year!!!

At which point, since we didn't know the extent of the outage, we had to decide to either stay and hope to get lucky or change our plans so we don't waste our time (the travelers most precious commodity). And so we did, and checked out a day early. I will still see if maybe the management will give me back a bit since we only used 2 of 3 days. The one thing I realized is that the unit was all electric appliances. There was no way to cook or heat anything during the outage. (BTW. Due to Covid, many places are closed and indoor activities limited, another factor for leaving early.
I realize it's not anyone's fault regarding the outage, it just wasn't the ideal vacation I had planned.

The apartment was clean and contemporary. Like others mentioned, the twin beds were as hard as rocks. The two lazy boys were also uncomfortable as it was a fight to recline and stay relined. We had temps in the 80's and NO AC so we bought the last two fans we could find in town just to get some air, especially at night in the upstairs bedroom. I called the manager's office who told me the pool was heated only to find out it was not and the spa was not working either. I think the signage throughout the apartment with all the listed fines was a bit excessive. That could be added to the tablet which was a nice feature. Overall I think this would be a great place for the winter but for this hot summer trip we had a few disappointments.

We had temps in the 80's and NO AC so we bought the last two fans we could find in town just to get some air, especially at night in the upstairs bedroom. I called the manager's office who told me the pool was heated only to find out it was not and the spa was not working either. I think the signage throughout the apartment with all the listed fines was a bit excessive. That could be added to the tablet which was a nice feature. Overall I think this would be a great place for the winter but for this hot summer trip we had a few disappointments.

This unit was way easy to check in and out of. Very clean and comfortable. I did find funny it was decorated for Christmas in July. A few suggestions, a lock on the inside of the door you can latch. We had two, 2 year olds visiting and one got out very easily opened the door and went out. We obviously missed her quickly, but this could have been a terrible outcome. With the pull down handle it was too easy for them to open. I would have liked the extra security. A pizza cutter would be a nice addition. And a fan or two , with no air conditioning it was a bit miserable to sleep. We don’t think anyone was staying in the unit Next door, we stopped by our unit to grab something one day while out , and noticed their door ajar. Didn’t think much about it at the time. Came back later that night and the door was wide open, no lights on. I called the emergency line and that person asked me to shut the door, but then asked me if I had seen a bear! Really? I’m a Midwestern girl, lol. We did see someone inside about two days later, but as soon as they saw we were there they left and never returned. Seemed very weird. Only other suggestion is what to do in case of an earthquake or wild fire. We did experience a pretty big earthquake. No damage, but the entire building moved. We had no idea what to do while it was happening. IJust a suggestion.Other than that, we loved our stay and would definitely seek this property out again.

Drawbacks were that the wifi was spotty all weekend and didn't allow us to stream movies as we unwound for the nights, the power went out in the restroom when we plugged in the hair dryer and the refrigerator was randomly leaking water from the bottom which we placed a towel to soak up. Overall was a nice place to stay at.

(happy to get into this at a technical level, but at the basics, if their excuses were true, everyone in Mammoth would have the same issues. Certainly everyone on Suddenlink...) I needed the wifi to work so it was beyond frustrating when it didn't.
