As advertised, clean, beautiful area, we would stay again.

The house was large and mostly as advertised. Communication with the host was quick and efficient before and during. Check-in and access was good. The house could use some updates. When it rained, there were leaks. Power plugs were loose, and an outlet in the kitchen stopped working completely. The coffee shop that was next door appears permanently closed. No wow factor but nothing terribly wrong either.

This was a roomy home in a lovely setting.

Very comfortable and pet friendly. A few maintenance issues but it didn't really affect our stay.

This property was beautiful! It was peaceful and quiet yet not far from the hustle and bustle of nearby towns. Fully stocked and spacious kitchen. If we had any questions the owner was quick to reply and help. We highly recommend experiencing this lovely home. We will for sure be back. ~Schatz/Collins families

Great house for the 8 of us. Everyone had a comfortable room. The screened in bonus room and private den was a surprise. We had 2 great bon fires in the yard. We had a wonderful family reunion.

This property is perfect for a family stay! Plenty of room and a lot to do. We will stay again!

We had a lovely time. The U-shaped driveway with parking behind the house, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths all work great for three retired friends meeting for a Door County week. We've already booked for next June - our third visit in a row.

The home was actually beautiful and very spacious. We had plenty of room for our party of six and two dogs. It was decorated beautifully. The kitchen was stocked well. The scenery was gorgeous too. We enjoyed viewing all the stars at night.

Kitchen table is huge! Island is great for serving food. Lots of seating in living room and great fireplace to keep you warm in the colder weather. Had a great time! Thank you!

House is dated but nice! Easily accommodated the 7 of us! Had a nice place in front for bonfires , which we really enjoyed! The owners answered questions immediately. Short distance from ferry to go to Washington island and only 6 minutes from Ellison Bay…

gutters need to be cleaned. electrical switches and lights need to be fixed. property outside needs to be better maintained

This is a very spacious home that can host a large family. The bedrooms are a nice size, the eat in kitchen is great, the converted garage to a bonus room was very nice--when the garage door goes up, there is a screened wall that stays in place. There is additional seating outside by the grills - charcoal and gas. There is a nice fire pit in the front of the house. The back of the house is wooded. The drive way conveniently goes around the back of the house in a big U so in case you miss the first driveway (like we did a few times :) ) you're sure to catch the second one. A short walk next door is a nice coffee shop with a dog park and outdoor seating. We enjoyed our stay at this nice home. The only drawback - and it is my fault, not the owners - is there is no A/C. The listing for the property is accurate- it's my fault I missed confirming that. However, it was only an issue for me on the first day because it was warm that day--the nights cooled the house down and it stayed comfortable throughout the week. There are ceiling fans and other fans that helped circulate the air. This is a nice place to stay.

My brothers family and my family take a trip each summer, this house was perfect for 9 people. Plenty of room, the kids had fun playing in the spacious lawn and enjoying the fire pit. We loved that we could bring the family dogs! Everything we needed was there. This was our first time staying this far north in Door County. I highly recommend Newport State park and Washington Island.

The rental home near Ellison Bay housing 10 occupants very comfortably was a perfect stepping off point for our family to relive and add new experiences. Kayaking, hiking, biking and exploring Washington/Rock Islands as well as the rest of Door Co is invigorating and renews past experiences from living in Manitowoc for 45 years. To be able to gather and coordinate times for two weeks was a rich and joyful time.

It was vey clean and check in was easy. Nice house. Loved the space. Plenty of room for everyone.

We had a great time at this property. This is the second time we have stayed and love the area. House was spacious and plenty of room for all of us.

This is a large home with plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed playing board games and talking around the huge kitchen table. The owners were quick to respond when we had a few minor issues, which we greatly appreciated. Wifi is weak so don’t plan on working remotely here. TV is all internet based as well - we tried to watch movies on Netflix but not much luck there. Overall we had a very nice stay!

We were looking for a place to just relax and enjoy Door County. Luckily we found this place. It had more than enough space and we enjoyed the fact that we could spread out and truly relax. Also loved the fact that we could walk to a nearby coffee shop to get our caffeine fix for the day. We would definitely go back.

This was my third time renting this house. I’ve brought 3 different groups of people and each group has been happy with the house. We love the location as it is not in the busiest part of Door County. The property is beautiful. The kitchen is amazing. We all love the big table where we can gather to play games and eat all our meals. The home owners are so nice and welcoming. They quickly fixed the one issue we had and helped return an item we left there by mistake. This has become my go to house to rent and I would for sure rent it again.

This winter we stayed at Gills Rock. A beautiful and comfortable home with a great location. Love the coffee shop next door. But NOT wheelchair accessible. There are currently stairs to get into the house and none of the bath/showers are wheelchair accessible. The hosts were very responsive and offered to help but the last thing my prideful husband wants on vacation is to have to ask for help.

The house was perfect - plenty of space, great amenities, lots of space - we'll be back again! The location was perfect too - minutes from hiking, shopping, dining, boat tours and the ferry to Washington Island. The owners are very responsive with answers to any questions we had before arriving. Information at the house was complete enough that we didn't need to call them at all while we were there! Overall - Perfect!

This was my second time renting this house and we all enjoyed our stay! We went in fall and enjoyed the views of the foliage on property through all the windows. The dogs loved all the space. The extra bathrooms are nice to have. You can’t beat the kitchen and big dining table where we shared all our meals. We love staying at this house and would for sure rent it again.
