The listing details the address for mapping as 5850 when the actual address is 5851 located across the street. We arrived after dark, following the mapping and had a difficult time finding the unit because no where does it say to go across the street. The listing shows the sign and building at 5850. After Multiple unanswered calls to the owner, we were finally able to contact her and locate the unit. That particular unit has an old non -working key pad at eye level on the building. Get rid of it and be more descriptive as to where the right key pad is located . In the pitch dark, tired and hungry, it was quite frustrating to have such poor directions. A motion sensor light at the back door would have been a big help.Otherwise, the unit was clean and comfy. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. The light up mirror did not work. The fancy shower had no shelf or place to put a bar of soap, or place to hang a wet wash cloth. The outlets along the kitchen counter were not working. We had to reset the ground fault. The view was fantastic, the manatees made an appearance or two. The beach equipment was perfect.

We stayed in unit 10 for @ a week in early May. It was our first trip to LBK. We had such a great and relaxing time that we added 2 nights. The unit was great for 2 people. Private with nice outdoor spaces on both sides. Very short walk across the road to the beautiful beach. Unit description is accurate. Not the St. Regis 😀 which is what made it perfect for us. It's a 1 story, ground level, condo on a canal on an island in SW FL, so, yes, there are some things that just come with the territory. We were lucky that the construction next door is done, although grounds were still being worked on. Host M. was responsive to any questions. We hope to go back in May 2023.

We had an amazing long weekend at Cabana 10. The friendliest of neighbors, manatees in the inlet, lots of time at the beach and pool all just a short walk away. All as advertised. Zero complaints whatsoever.

A perfect rental for two in the heart of Long Boat. The unit was spotless and the keypad code was communicated to us in advance, so we had no issues entering the condo after a long day of travel and flight delays. The view of the canal from the dock is truly underrated; we saw manatees each day and even a dolphin swimming through one afternoon. The beach is beautiful and located just across the street, and they provide plenty of beach/lounge chairs that are available each day. You’ll definitely want to rent a car, but there’s a lot of great options still close by. St. Armands Circle is 15 minutes away by car, and there are some fun/casual restaurants about 5 minutes away, like The Old Salty Dog and Mar Vista. There’s also a Publix less than 10 minutes away. If you want to walk, there’s a plaza less than a mile away which includes solid food options like The Lazy Lobster, Blue Dolphin Cafe and Tyler’s Ice Cream. The last place I’d recommend is the Turtle Coffee Bar which is also just minutes from the condo. All in all, a great and relaxing vacation. Thanks so much for an awesome stay.

What a perfect getaway we had….my husband and I visited Longboat Key as part of his rehab after a long illness. The condo is so homey with lots of extras. We not only enjoyed the canal view but also the patio area off of the bedroom. Just a short walk to the beach and condo was equipped with a variety of beach essentials. If we visit this area again would be sure to stay here.

Rental was exactly as advertised. Was clean and in a great location. 2 minutes from beach and quiet. Tried to get in touch with contact twice about email question/issue and did not hear back. Luckily was small issue. Overall great trip!

When we first walked into the place it smelled very strong mold and mildew even with all of the air fresheners throughout the house. It was especially strong in the bathroom. The first morning we woke up the toilet was clogged and bubbling and there was a plunger in the closet thankfully so that I could unclog the toilet. Then we noticed little cockroaches running around. I had to have killed at least 15 that I saw and it was everyday. I would never come back to this place. The amount of money I spent I should have not had this kind of experience.

I like the quiet and tranquility of being on the canal.very comfortable out door furniture. I even had shade parking. Thank you.

Loved the location. The property could use some maintenance and updates but overall we enjoyed our stay.

We decided to have an isolation Thanksgiving staycation this year, and drove down from Clearwater. Loved the property, and the villa was very well outfitted to maximize the space. We enjoyed fishing and watching the manatees in the canal, and then hopped only a few short steps in the other direction to enjoy the beach and a proper sunset. We have been AMI-goers for years, but enjoyed the quieter option of LBK. We will rent this property again!
