Cozy, inviting, super clean, large and roomy. We had a group of five women who stayed for a weekend. More than enough room for everyone. Nice decor and very comfortable.

We’ve stayed at other Pirate Bay homes and love the area! Mustang Sally was perfect for our Family Vacation of 9! We had plenty of seating, even at the dining table. There’s a nice new dining table, not like the one pictured. It was clean and the a/c worked great! It also had a little patio, an outdoor shower, and a little yard area. There are hooks on the privacy fence to hang towels. There’s an exit in the master bedroom and the living room. Just perfect! The only cons were the master shower head had poor water pressure, the dryer takes forever to dry clothes, and the mattress on the Queen upstairs was hard. That being said, we would stay here again for sure!

The location and property itself was great. Directions were tricky as GPS takes you to the Valero along the same road line as the property (which sits behind it & the Hampton Inn). I will say the tone of the of contract that they want you to sign is very unwelcome, as it reads like the issues they’ve encountered before are being anticipated by all future guests. Unfortunately, we did have issues with internet connection, TV connectivity & Alarm system going off. The customer service rep was accessible via Text however when the 2nd & 3rd issue was apparent, the hospitality was lack luster. We had a toddler and times for resolution was 6-8p when the issue was noted about 2ish. I will say when a property affiliate and tech guy showed up, they themselves were polite, prompt & apologetic. We were there for a Pole Vault Meet and the heat was awful lol - This AC was Amazing and an absolute life saver LOL. The bedrooms were very neat and spacious for our families! I do recommend the property as a whole, we had a quick trip so was not the best stay for so short a time, however for a true beach stay, it is perfect.

Everything was awesome. The pool was nice everyone had a lot of space with in this condo. Beach was 5-10 minutes down the road. AC worked really well and beds/ sofas were comfortable. The private fence on bottom balcony was nice to be able to put ice chests and other expensive items like kayak paddles and stuff in my case.

Very spacious with plenty of room for our group (4 adults and 4 kids). It had everything you would need for a fun stay. Only two negative things to mention... it was clean overall, but the staircase handrail looked like it had never been cleaned. We wiped it down with Clorox wipes and it was white again. (Just a fyi for housekeeping next time) This may be standard, but the AC thermostat would not allow us to adjust the temp below 74 degrees. It finally got cool enough, but it took a full 24 hrs.

Upon arrival I was told to report to the office for a "welcome package" that included parking passes. Another guest told me their parking passes were in their room at check in so I questioned but was told to come to the office. The office is by the ferry which meant I had to sit through tourist traffic there and back to get the "welcome package" which only included a map and parking passes... The next morning the coffee maker leaked all over the counter. I called to request a new coffee maker after cleaning up and making cowboy coffee on the stove for me and my family. That evening after spending the day at the beach there was no new coffee maker. I called again and was told the office was closed and would be closed Sunday as well. So cowboy coffee for my whole stay. Very disappointed in the management.

The house itself was nice and spacious, the neighborhood was nice and location was great. The inside however was not very clean. The dining chairs had cobwebs all over the legs, the everything was a little dingy, light switch covers and door jambs were grimy. Upstairs there were black hairs and dead bugs all over. The bed seemed to have been made but not with clean sheets. There was sand and more black hair under the covers. The top blankets all had stains on them. The worst though was a giant roach in the bath room. The kitchen was adequately stocked but could use some new knives and pots and pans. I’m sure this place is great for a group of 20 somethings ready to party, but was not what I had in mind for my small children.

The condo is in a great location and has tons of room! The kitchen table is upgraded from the one in the photo and the bedrooms also seem upgraded from the photos. Very appealing with a beachy and comfy vibe! Check in was easy and they accommodated us arriving a little early which was super appreciated! The outside shower was also refreshing to rinse off after being at the beach and pools. The less than 5 stars is because we had some issues with running faucets/shower drains that were never addressed and they got worse during our stay, dripping all night. A few other things to note- the upstairs bunk beds in the bedroom were very wobbly and in need of some tightning. Would make me nervous if a teen or bigger kid were to sleep on the top. Also the DVD player didn't work which was a bummer for our planned movie night. Probably these issues were from continuous occupants (very popular property!) Overall our stay was enjoyable and we especially liked property's two pools!

We gave vacationed in Port Aransas for the last four summers and Mustang Sally was the nicest place we have stayed. I would recommend PB224. We will definitely stay here again. Great vacation, plenty of space, multiple stays at pirates bay resort, a bit disappointed in this room's cleanliness (I.e. Food crumbs under couches and within seat cushions, a few roaches in the early morning at kitchen area, living area, master closet. Refrigerator was not cooling enough, called office, prompt response from Starkey but was not fixed, handyman said appliance company repair was called, however it was very disappointing that we had to throw away milk, temp sensitive foods. A credit to our stay and apology would have been nice to offset the lack of cleanliness, roach encounters, food disposal. The temp in fridge was still the same even after our departure.
